A big shout out to Laura @ Aura for her workshop with Ayla that I had the privilege to attend. Possibly the best workshop I have been to for the content and shooting possibilities but also for the wonderfully friendly way the workshop was run.

Laura and Rob were welcoming and worked tirelessly to set up amazing sets with Ayla. Ayla was also wonderful as her knowledge of how lighting works best for the images we wanted to capture.

All in all a great workshop and also great value when I look at all the wonderful images produced.

Totally worth the trip from Canada. Ha.

I'm going to echo most of the other comments here, this is a fabulous studio, warm and inviting with plenty of space.

There are standing sets (which I've yet to use), an enormous infinity cove, a large changing area, heating that actually works and warms the studio to the perfect temperature, and plenty of tea on tap.

Laura and Rob are very accommodating and make the studio a friendly place to shoot.

I shall return :-)

This was my first time working at Aura Studio, and what a wonderful place it is!

The space has been utilised INCREDIBLY well, with all the sets you could possibly think of or need. Each set has been thoroughly thought out and immaculately finished, even down to the smaller details. The changing room is large, with an abundance of props and clothing; the kitchen has everything you could possibly need as a touring model; and the choice of lighting is just spot on.

This was also my first time meeting the owner, Laura. What an absolutely wonderful lady she is. She was chatty, welcoming, polite, and incredibly kind. She has clearly gone to a great amount of effort here, and it really shows.

I spent a day in this studio, and was absolutely blown away by it. I am so excited to work here again in the future.

Finally got to shoot at Aura studios, after booking booking myself on Ayla's lighting and powder shoot casting. The moment I stepped through the door, I felt welcomed and was offered a nice hot drink. The studio is amazing, with lots of different sets to work with, and was surprised to find out there was shooting space upstairs too. Laura gave me a tour, and I am honestly well impressed, and my mind started going in overdrive with all the props that were available. I had a great day out at Aura studios, and have already started to plan a shoot at the studio, using Laura's body painting skills.

This studio is a must, lovely atmosphere, great heating, lots of beverages, and someone always on hand to help.

Fab first visit to Aura studio and I'm already so looking forward to the other dates we have booked in! The studio was so spacious, with multiple sets as well as huge infinity cove, and awesome lighting possibilities! Laura and Rob are so helpful and accommodating. I was looked after perfectly, and the photographers I worked with during my model day were so lovely. Totally chuffed with the range of awesome images produced there.

So I finally made it over to Aura! I'd been hearing about how wonderful it is for a long time! I'd arranged a couple of dates which had fallen through but this time (after some difficulties my end) I managed to get over! And I'm so glad I did!...

Laura's comms were fabulous (even when mine weren't) and she was very patient with that so I have to say a big thank you for that!...

The studio itself is bloody fabulous and I can certainly see why it's a favourite for many. I was greeted by Rob who was fabulous! Great energy, friendly and just nothing was too much trouble! The changing room was warm, plenty of room and mirrors. And the wardrobe!... Well there is so much you can use whilst you are at the studio, which is fabulous!...

Tea was on tap! Toilet on site (and it has a roof!!)

Lots of different sets over two floors, equipment, everything you could need both as a model or a photographer!...

Laura was absolutely lovely, again nothing was too much trouble! She even had some awesome suggestions for the workshop which helped create some great looks!...

Overall I had an awesome experience at the studio! I would highly recommend it if you haven't been before! Well looked after, nothing was too much trouble and I felt safe and looked after the whole duration.

My first visit to AURA for one of their regular studio nights. I met Rob who was super helpful with my bags and showed me around before everyone else arrived.

The studio is massive and so well equipped, plenty of space between sets and the quality is amazing! I also met Laura the owner and both clearly work so hard to have a fabulous space to work in.

Hopefully I will come to visit again soon, thank you guys for having me!

I've shot at Aura a bunch of times over recent months, attending many of the studio's brilliantly arranged club nights and workshops.

Split over two floors, the place is enormous and well equipped, offering endless photographic opportunities.

The studio is regularly attended by touring models and there's always a really wide range of events, group shoots and workshops for photographers to sign up for.

Beyond anything else, what really makes Aura special is its vibe and friendly atmosphere. Laura and Rob are always chipper and enthusiastic, with both tea and lighting assistance offered as standard. The place boasts a friendly, cooperative and welcoming community of photographers and models, who are generous with their knowledge and share a clear sense of commorarderie and appreciation of photography.

It's an altogether great place!

I alway love shooting at Aura Studio it’s such a friendly place with a great atmosphere. I attended a group event organised by Laura focusing on dynamic movement with the use of flour, and our model for the afternoon was Ayla. This has to be one of the most amazing shoots I have taken part in. The whole event was based around their very large infinity curve with a small group of 5 photographers. We each had plenty of time to take various shots of the model capturing her with the use of flour to extenuate the effect of her movements. The very knowledgeable Rob was on hand to set up the lighting and give advice as was Laura.

Laura is always so welcoming and makes you feel at home when ever you visit the studio, on top of this she works hard to organise some truly great events with some amazing models. Aura Studio is a great place to shoot at and I will definitely be going back again.

Thank you guys for yet another great event and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

I had the glorious pleasure of being invited by Laura to do one of her week day club nights along with two other models for the evening. :)

The evening ran without a hitch as I already knew it would do as Laura does everything to absolute perfection, we were split into three groups and everyone had an equal amount of 1-2-1 time with the models, each group shot me on a different set with a different outfit so everyone walked away with unique looks. I can honestly say that all the photographers were lovely, respectful, professional and very easy to work with.

Aura has such a great atmosphere to it, its friendly and relaxed, and something I always look for in a studio its bloody clean haha the models changing area is spacious and bright, coffees and teas were on tab by Laura or her minion Rob Simpson, and everyone left smiling after a good night getting some very cool shots! :D

I can’t recommend Laura or her epic studio enough!

What an amazing shoot i had today at Laura's studio.....4 hours.....it went by too fast.....was greeted by the amazing Mr Rob Simpson......he made us coffee and set the lights up for me too....all within 15 minutes of me arriving.....within the studio i lost count of the amount of different scenarios and backdrops you could shoot.....although we had brought 5 modelling outfits with us the model spent ages looking at all the clothing and props we could use.....special thanks to Rob for also helping with a posing problem we had......had a great time...had fantastic Pro help and will definitely be coming to their group castings and hiring again in the future.....110% recommend....

I had a brilliant studio day arranged at Aura! Recommended by a local photographer and I can highly recommend it to any model or photographer!

The space is big and varied with lots of props and clothing you can use, but above all the atmosphere was so nice! The organisers were very pleasant, warm people and very professional. Looking forward to be back!

Unbelievably, considering how close Aura is to me, this was my first visit to the studio.......I really shouldn't have left it so long!

It was great to finally make use of the studio, there is so much variety of sets, backdrops etc, an infinity curve, huge amount of lighting kit and props as well....to put it simply - everything you need to have a great photoshoot.

Laura and Rob were both very welcoming and very helpful with lighting setups etc when needed, but were equally happy to leave me to get on with the shoot as well.

I will definitely be back.

Had my first shoot at Aura Studio today and was very impressed. Laura and Rob were great in making you feel comfortable on arrival. The coffee was excellent and once we discussed the shoot, Rob set up the lighting.

They have a variety of sets and plenty of lighting options. A great studio and well worth a visit for your next shoot.

Perfect shooting at AURA studio at the start of August with Sebastian C - amazing people who run the studio who put in such hard hard work and effort to make it a lovely experience, so friendly, not to mention talented.

Wide range of lovely items to shoot with also, and things to buy! 11/10 recommend.

This is special reference for Laura Neil and Rob

I attended one of Aura's lake location shoots and having a real phobia of water (yeah I know great for attending a lake shoot right) The way Laura, Neil and Rob understood and looked after me that day was really quite something and I'm very grateful to them for making the effort to make sure I was comfortable and I got as many opportunities as the others that were brave enough to enter the water.

The shoot was very well organised, the communication before the event and chat afterwards has been brilliant. The other folks that attended were a great laugh and helpful and of course Tillie and Ayla were amazing models.

Thank you for organising this and looking after me it really was appreciated and I will be back for another lake shoot next time

I've visited Aura Studios a couple of time since my last reference and thought about time it deserves another.

Most recent visits have been event based from lighting workshops, a couple of location shoots at a private lake and today a themed body paint shoot.

On each occasions everything has been meticulously planned and organised by Laura (and bump). Nothing is too much trouble for anyone connected with this studio - all want you to leave with great images, knowledge gained (if a workshop) and a positive memorable experience.

As before, I only wish the studio was closer.

Aura is a great studio to shoot at, Laura and Rob always make you feel so welcome. There are plenty of different sets to choose from including a large infinity wall and there’s a good selection of furniture and props. Help and advice is always on hand with setting up lighting if needed. Laura hosts some great events at the studio with some great models. I’ve already booked for my next visit and really looking forward to it.

Absolutely love this studio! So many options, well thought out sets with great equipment to suit all styles, you can literally create almost every lighting set up possible here! Ran by the lovely Laura, who is a very hardworking studio owner, as well as being talented in her own right as a model, and also Artist. She has previously worked on a theme set by Jared, the Black Tape Project which required her to think on her feet creatively, producing a very unique and highly complimented look for our shoot! Both studio and Laura herself are highly recommended by me - thanks for having me at the latest group shoot :)
