This shoot had been scheduled take place a few years ago but one thing another conspired against it until today when all the stars aligned.

Emily the studio who I have met on Zooms and at last years Photography Show gave a warm welcome to the studio with my model for the day Rachyy, she showed me around the place which is just huge with lots of places to shoot and create images plus there are loads of accessories, posing blocks etc

It was my first time shooting here and hopefully I will go again soon. Highly recommended by me, just book the place.

What an incredible studio ! Emily is extremely friendly and very welcoming.

This studio is absolutely huge and has such a fantastic collection of props. But the main reason I wanted to shoot here is the incredible amount of natural light that floods into the studio from its enormous windows.

It also has a large curve studio area with a very impressive light selection.

And did I mention TWO winches both of which will support a model for great aerial images.

Definitely the best studio I have ever used !

I’m proud to say that I have been working at AURA on an average of a weekly basis since Emily opened the studio and I love everything that the space has to offer; but my most recent studio day here was the first time I shot with Emily herself! The shoot was everything and more and I personally think we nailed the assignment! The images are dreamy and it was just as dreamy finally having the chance to work with Emily, after knowing her for sooo long. Thank you once again, as always, Emily. I look forward to being back in the studio v soon ❤️

First time shooting at Aura Studio - pre-comms with Emily were excellent and on arrival received a warm welcome from Jason with a nice coffee.

I was expecting a large spacious studio with good natural light and was certainly wow'd by this on arrival but was even more impressed by the large number of quirky, interesting furniture and props that provided a multitude of set and shooting opportunities; in addition, there was also a large studio infinity curve at one end with the appropriate flash lighting equipment if required.

Jason was ever helpful on moving furniture, lighting set up etc as and when needed but receded into to the background if not, allowing myself and the model to create uninterrupted.

In summary, a really great studio and so look forward to using the studio again in the near future.

I attended a club night here group shooting and had a great time :) Emily is lovely and is a great host. She is very accommodating for the photographers teas, coffees and biscuits ect. She is also put on a heater for me when I was cold.

Highly recommended :) definitely would work there again!

Another lovely morning at this amazing space. Emily was brilliant with the booking process and Jason was on hand to set everything up at the start. Then, as the shoot progressed, he was available to help move things around so that we benefitted from the vast array of props available. Nothing was too much trouble for Jason, and I was particulary grateful for the mid shoot coffee. AURA benefits from the largest white infinity cove that I know, a sea of wooden floor boards, and enormous windows letting in masses of natural light. I love the sets that Emily has designed as well. I cant recommend this location enough to photographers and models alike.

Wow today I returned to my favourite studio ever.

Under new ownership …. Well that was a while ago but never the less I had an an amazing opportunity to shoot a phenomenal ballerina today and I was not disappointed.

The studio has been made a lot more diverse with a huge amount of equipment, props and very knowledgable help if needed which was not here before.

I was welcomed to a very warm reception and exceptionally helpful. I need a large space to shoot dancers and the owners were more than accommodating to move sets and make a very generous open space for us to work in.

I have come away the most amazing images with vey little editing as the space is so large and sympathetic with its generous back ground and height to shoot them in as well as help building different sets.

Super recommended and if you have not worked here why not.

I had my first shoot here today and was pleased the 2 hour drive to get here was worth every minute. The studio was spacious and the hosts were friendly and kept me supplied with coffee. Help was forthcoming when needed and the equipment was ready when needed, although the large windows produced a perfect space for natural light.

I really hope I can get up there again for a shoot soon.

I recently had the pleasure of shooting at Aura Photographic Studio with the wonderful Helen Diaz.

I have worked at this studio in its various incarnations numerous times over the years and have seen many changes. However, in my opinion it has never been better than it is now. The studio has always had great natural light but this has been enhanced by fitting diffusers in some of the windows. The studio is also cleaner and tidier than it has sometimes been in the past and it has a superb range of lights, props and costumes.

The owner Emily and her partner Jason are incredibly friendly and helpful, which makes shooting there a joy. A great studio and one that I will certainly be visiting again.

I worked at the sensational AURAphotographic studio again after many years away (and a change of ownership!) and was absolutely blown away by how the studio has been transformed!🌹

I was very fortunate to be booked here for 13 hours shooting over 3 days!

There are an array of majestic sets to choose from; fantastic photography equipment and ariel equipment, with high ceilings and stunning natural light flooding throughout the room via tall Georgian windows.

The walls and furnishings are beautifully decorated and presented, with such thought and creativity which is perfect for film and photography.

There are also a large array of props and accessories to use which really complement the sets. I especially LOVED the grand fireplace, the piano and the infinity cove. You can tell that alot of heart and soul has gone into the decor and as Emily is a model and artist herself, this is reflected in every aspect of the studio!

Directions and communications were first class and there are plenty of allocated parking spots directly outside of the studio. There is also a small kitchen, shower and restroom next door which are super useful!

Emily and Jason are fantastic hosts; truly lovely people and it was a complete pleasure to model there and be in their company. I would love to get to know them better. As we are relocating closer, I really hope to return soon!

I cannot recommend this studio more highly to photographers and creatives. Thankyou for a lovely 3 days and hope to see you both again soon, Helen x

Fantastic welcoming upon arrival and such a helpful bunch.

Provided with plenty of tea for the day and a big amazing industrial heater to keep warm.

The natural light that shines through into the studio is amazing.

This was my first time at Aura Photographic and was made to feel most welcome. It is a large studio with a number of small “studio sets” and a the facilities for aerial work. There are plenty of options for studio lighting and a number of large windows which are perfect for natural light. Help was on hand to help set up lighting and change various sets. It was great experience and I can recommend Aura Photographic most highly.

I was back at Aura this weekend for a day of shoots with Keira Lavelle, organised & run by studio owner Emily. First up was a 4 hour session of oil and water, which was followed then by a 4 hour flour shoot.

For both sessions the group was limited to a max of just 4 people, meaning there was plenty of time & opportunity to get your shots, run through ideas, and experiment.

Overall, it was great fun. I came away with plenty of images including a decent number of definite keepers! Emily clearly knows what she's doing, organising sets, advising on camera settings. etc and is just generally very helpful & likeable to be around. Credit to Keira as well, not least for her sheer dedication & good humour!

Would I recommend? Definitely.

I modelled at Aura last week for one of their photography club nights. The shoot was well organised, the evening went by smoothly and I was kept fed and watered with tea and biscuits. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the studio is well equipped and I had a lovely chat with the owners at the end of the evening. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

I did a dancing photoshoot at Auro Photographic. The studio is huge. It has a variety of areas, including a huge corner with white floors and seamless white walls - fantastic for creating shadows. Loads of props, such as chairs, settees, a rocking horse, a piano and a double bed. Loads of clothes to choose from. A comprehensive set of lighting equipment. And Emily was so helpful - nothing was too much trouble. A great place to take great photos.

I should also mention that we had originally planned a session on a train strike day. One of the models could not get to the shoot. The studio was completely accommodating, allowing us to change to whatever date suited us. It is so nice dealing with people who are so nice.

Had my first shoot at Aura Studios with @treborimages, and fell in love with the space. Many options for movement artists including hoops, silks, various sizes of cubes and platforms, and interesting furniture. I’m inspired to create my own studio as versatile as Aura! Run by wonderful people as well; Emily was generously helpful during my shoot with wardrobe assist and spotting me for difficult movements. Would happily return next time I’m in the UK. Highly recommended!

Had another great shoot at Aura, this time with Lila. Great studio space, friendly people! Jason was on hand on the day, providing tea and helping out with lighting - even kindly letting me use one of his set-ups! Definitely recommend, and I'll be back.
