I'm located in Cambridge but I'm always up for a trip to London or somewhere else to get some shots. Both locations have their perks, so I'm flexible about that.

Types of Shoot

TFP:

Most of my work is TFP, which stands for "Time for Prints." This means that both the model and I work for free. In exchange, I provide the models with at least 10 edited images, which they can use in their portfolio, on social media, or in any non-commercial setting. Of course, I expect to be credited for my work, along with anyone else involved. It's a win-win situation. I get to practice my photography skills, and the models get some great shots for their portfolios.

Paid Shoots:

Occasionally, I pay models for a shoot, but we always negotiate the fee beforehand. It's common in the industry that when a model is paid, no images are given for free. However, I'm open to accepting payment from models for a shoot. We'll discuss the fees and the number of images to be provided in advance.

Part Paid:

I'm always up for discussing and agreeing on terms for part-paid work. Typically, the shooting time is around two hours, and all models will need to sign a model release. Now, here's the deal: I don't usually charge models any fees for non-commercial photoshoots or portfolio building. Likewise, I don't typically pay models for non-commercial photoshoots. So, whether you're looking to build your modelling portfolio, gain experience, or just have some modeling fun and boost your confidence, this is a fantastic opportunity without breaking the bank.

Copyright and use of images on Social Media Etc

You are free to use all images supplied for non-commercial use, including posting on social media providing the photographer and any other people involved are credited. However, copyright is retained by me the photographer and commercial use is prohibited without express permission, for which a fee may be payable.

Please do not edit supplied images or apply filters etc. I never supply unedited files so please don’t ask.

With that in mind, I do not normally charge models any fees for non-commercial photoshoots, portfolio building and similar work.  Neither do I normally pay models for non-commercial photoshoots.

So whether you're looking to build a modelling portfolio, looking to gain experience as a model or just want to try modelling for fun or to boost your confidence, this is a great way to do it, not spending a fortune.

Levels and Chaperones

I shoot at various levels including fashion, boudoir, up to art nude. Levels and themes will usually be agreed upon in advance. If as a model you feel uncomfortable at any time then please say as I will always respect your levels.

You are welcome to bring a chaperone with you to a shoot but please let me know in advance so they can be accommodated. Models under 18 years are restricted to fashion shoots and MUST bring a parent with them on all shoots.

Cancellations etc.

Life happens and sometimes it may be necessary to cancel or postpone a shoot. If you need to cancel, then please, please let me know as soon as possible. Shoots can take a while to arrange especially if locations need to be scouted, studios booked and other people are involved. The more notice you can give the better. It can be very frustrating if after putting a lot of work into planning a shoot the model simply does not turn up.

Some shoots can be weather dependent and occasionally you may have an ‘emergency’. When you are booked you will be given my mobile number a quick message would be appreciated if there is a problem.
