My first visit to the new Aura studio to work there since the change of ownership. Laura was there to greet me with a smile and the offer of as much help as I needed in trying out some of the special shapes there for the cove. The studio is now getting her character and experience introduced and I was impressed with the cleanliness of props and the work space. The cove is extensive and allows for a great variety of work with its impressive height and the lighting equipment is modern and extensive. The natural light is simply beautiful and offers many opportunities for lighting a model and producing stunning images. Really delighted with my first visit to the new Aura and thoroughly recommend it to other creatives. Thank you Laura for all your help and conversations during my visit 😊

Awesomeness to an extreme!

So glad this amazing space has successfully re-invented itself under new, improved and proper management.

Last Saturday I had a shoot with the gorgeous Sinopa Rin and it went swimmingly to say the least. Nothing was too much trouble as Laura & Jason made me feel very welcome and were so very accommodating.

The shooting space is absolutely beautiful and I got some stunning photos.

A MAHOOSIVE recommendation from me!

I absolutely love this studio. There is so much you can do here. AURA has a lot of space so there are so many angles you can get, corners you can shoot in, different backdrops and props you can use. One of my (and I'm sure many other's) favourite parts of the studio is the big windows. The natural light is stunning, I love shooting here. I was booked by photographer Ash, we had a really great shoot. We worked from a moodbaord and had a lot of fun using the space. The pictures were great and we got through so many sets.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! :D

I was honoured to be asked by Laura to model for AURA's 'Beauty and the Boat' studio day with Cariad. It was an absolutely gorgeous set up. The cutest boat presented beneath the huge bay window, the studio was filled with hundreds of flowers, the natural light was stunning, it was magical to walk into. I felt so lucky to get to shoot there. Laura had hung and prepared several dress options to choose from, I love shooting artistic nude but I have to say it was nice to feel like a princess for the afternoon :D

Laura had clearly put a lot of thought into this shoot and put in so much work into getting everything set up (especially getting the boat up and down those stairs and prepping all those flowers!)

I felt very looked after by Laura and her partner, thank you both so much for everything.

I got to meet so many lovely creative people on the day which was awesome! The photos from everyone were gorgeous and I look forward to seeing the posts from this brilliant day :D

This weekend was my first (and hopefully not last) modelling on one of Aura Photographic's themed events. And what an event it was. I can only say, thank you all for having me. The time and effort that had clearly gone into this was fantastic and the images I have seen from it are testament to that. I certainly wouldn't relish the idea of getting an entire boat into a second story studio at the best of times, but that is exactly what the team had done and to great effect. Never mind getting it in there, Aura is one of a handful of studios in the UK that could actually accommodate such a massive prop and have the lighting and useable space to get the most from it, so if thats your thing then you know where to go...

Having only visited once since opening the new studio I was excited to see what they had achieved in their new place... and Wow!! I was not disappointed. What a wonderful space with equally wonderful hosts. This place just keeps getting better and better.

Aura photographic is an exceptional studio filled with high level equipment, glorious features and natural light in abundance and knowledgable owners that are all too happy to lend a hand.

As a model or photographer, if you are yet to visit then what are you waiting for?

I shot a fine art flower themed event at Aura Photographic Studios and the space is absolutely massive. There are giant windows which I had to climb halfway up a step ladder to photograph with the model standing on the window ledge and she still looked small in the picture. Lots of props and different sets to suit all photographers. Emily and Jason were very helpful with getting the lights and triggers all setup. Highly recommended studio for models and photographers, definitely going back.

This was the first time I have been to AuraPhotographic under new management. I was very impressed how Emily has changed the studio which incorporates many sets in a combined space. Emily was very helpful in assisting with the lighting and the props. I had a shoot there with BethKate and hope to arrange another shoot soon. Highly recommended.

I had a studio day at AURAphotographic last weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. The studio is an amazing place to shoot in with so much space and so many wonderful props to use. AURA photographic LTD is an incredibly versatile space with giant windows for natural light work, as well as a space for studio based shots and a plethora of lighting equipment to support these.

You’re spoiled for choice regarding props and things to add to your shot, there is something for everyone.

Emily and Jason were wonderful and extremely patient and friendly during my shoot with Wayne. Despite having loads of work they happily came to attend to us when we needed, making sure we were happy and comfortable.

I would highly recommend this studio for any photographic needs you may have as provided by Emily

Great to be back in the studio today and great to come to Aura for the first time. The transition is going well and they have amazing sounding plans…there’s loads of very top end props to take your sets to the next level. Jason and Emily were awesome, so friendly and welcoming and on hand to help with any lighting or moving of props etc. Came away with some epic shots and some great ideas for future shoots…loved it!!!

Today was my first day shooting at AURA and... wow!

The space is amazing and Laura and Jason were so incredibly helpful throughout the day but also knew when to give space. The perfect hosts. I can't wait for the next 2 days in this incredible studio.

Would highly recommend this studio for it's high quality equipment, beautiful set pieces and friendly staff. Wonderful place!

My third shoot at Aura with the delightful aerialist UpsidedownRose. Laura was very accommodating when we needed to reschedule at short notice and again on the day when Rose missed her train from Bristol and had to catch the next. Nice to see the developments in the studio with many more props and furniture being introduced, that said the reconfiguation work is ongoing though it did not inconvenience us much: there are so many alternatives to explore. Rose is in her element there and I know of nowhere else where the aerial silks can be used to their fullest. I highly recommend the studio and we will be back later in the year for session 4.

Such a great space well equipped so many props. Even found 2 different suitable models for my shoot over weekend. Due to covid didn't have the normal help but that just a blip for this weekend but got pointed in right direction and was trusted on my own in studio with just model. I also attend a group shoot previous evening was really well run so many great shoot already planning next visit hopeful covid free and the renovations finished.

Wow had the honour to shoot on the newly moved infinity curve at Aura, and what a great experience it was and such an improvement on the old curve allowing to shoot from more angles, along with future work to add some different backdrops, Thanks again Andy

I recently attended the Mannequin Madness event at Aura with Rebecca Perry. Laura and Jason had put a lot of thought into the theme in preparation with several sets on the day.We all had plenty of shoot time with Rebecca and got some great images.The studio is an awesome space with great natural light as well as an abundance of high quality studio lighting.Looking forward to working there again sometime and it comes highly recommended.

I recently attended a workshop at the studios with Rebecca Perry. It was clear the studio team Emily and Jason had put a lot of thought into the theme in preparation. There was plenty of support when needed too and they were happy to share their expertise during the day.

The studio is easy to get to and there's no trouble parking right outside. It will continue to be my studio of choice - I'm already booked in for another two events.

I've probably got a stack of references to leave after this one, but never mind! 😅 I'm really behind with references and this is one from a tour I did during which I spent several consecutive days shooting at Aura Studio with different photographers... Every shoot different, every shoot inspired with the individuals who came to work with me, and every shoot thoroughly enjoyed due to the great facilities offered by this venue. 😀 It was in fact the last time I got to work in the industrial side of the building which some creatives may well remember, AND the last chance to use some very cool props as it was in the midst of a sale that the studio were doing of many of their posing boxes etc. I feel very glad that my photographers and I managed to jump on the chance while we could! before Aura made it's grand transformation.

The great (and possibly most famous) thing about this space is the diversity of light sources. ☀ The natural light is phenomenal with the huge windows, and what a lot of folks indeed go for! But the infinity curve/studio side of things is also quality with an abundance of top kit to get just the effect you're after for any given project. 🙂 My multiple shoots varied across all of the lighting and set options: no two shoots being the same! There was dreamy and soft in the diffused window light, through to edgy and styled with quirky posing props on the plain studio walls, to me becoming part of the furniture or just sunbathing in the suns strong rays when they beamed on through! 😆 I love it when you have several great sessions which are just charged with endless unique creativity, though admittedly I do find that having a great place to work plays a big part in helping that inspiration as I did notice my photographers being really keen to pick up on shot opportunities themselves. The fact that I had been to the studio sale (as well as some of my photographers!) also meant that I had a cool new outfit range to test out in the gorgeous sets and light hehe!

The studio were also very flexible and helpful as I was planning my tour, different photographers had different availability and duration requests which meant I was pinging back and forth with Aura HQ constantly to get it all planned. Surprised they weren't sick of me before I even got there! 😂 But no: very accommodating and patient, willing to do whatever they can to bend over backwards for bookings and help clients fulfil their creative pursuits. Comms' are always a breeze, and when you're there help is always on hand to either get some jazzy lighting setup arranged for you, to move things or even assist if an extra pair of hands is needed to fiddle with a reflector or something. It's a caring and positive environment which adds lots of good vibes to your shoot(s) and this is why it's always worth returning multiple times! ❤ Oohh - there is always a good cuppa on offer as well! 😜

I tour a fair bit quite often finding myself in the South and beyond, Aura is a brilliantly convenient (and top quality) shooting venue which makes an ideal stop on the way down. It's also a good halfway point for people in the North and South to meet up because it's conveniently quite central in the country... I have had photographers come shoot me here from all over the place. 👍 Dead easy access from the M1 if you're driving, free parking and lots of shops/businesses closely to pick up essentials after a shoot or between shooting. 🙂

I'm always delighted when I get to drop by and catch up with the lovely Aura team! Get yourself booked in for a safe, professional and innovatively inspired space to base your photo shoot from! A late reference, but only because it's worth taking the time to properly sing their praises... In fact you better watch this space because I have several more references to come! 😁

They provided space for a 2 hour shoot with Keira Lavelle. We were provided with ample space and all the facilities needed. A hoist turned out to be very useful. Perhaps the most useful facility was the excellent natural light and the space which made the stereo much more dramatic. Laura was very helpful and I was pleased to meet her having communicated years ago about a possible shoot. I intend to be back here soon.

I had a 2 day studio day at the new Aura working alongside Ivory Flame in the white room. Laura is fantastic host, friendly, helpful and on hand if you need anything. The large studio space has lots of sets dotted around and is big enough for 2 models to shoot separately with individual photographers simultaneously. This made the studio day run smoothly opening up the option to book to photographers onto the same time slot and working 1-2-1 with myself and Ivory.

I love this space and look forward to returning later this year :)

My first shoot, not counting a recent workshop, at this Studio under its new management.

It was great to be back in a studio whose attractions fully justify the drive from London. There is ample space (we shot in the Apex) for two photographers to separately shoot two models, using both natural light and flash.

Laura and Jason were welcoming and helpful but melted away when not required.

It is great to see this great photographic facility being further developed and taken forward under the new regime. Very highly recommended.
