First time I've been to Aura in it's new location.

It has same warm welcome - I needed an extra stand for some V flats and Jase built one there and then :)

It's got Laura's eye for high quality creative sets as well as the fabulous cove and *lots* of space. With that and the IGBT lights it's one of the very best-equipped studios for dance photography. Recommended!

I love it there. The kettle is always hot and Laura is always on hand for lighting/heating and any help you might need.

I’ve worked at Aura many times but not done any studio days in years. We sold out two day’s quickly thanks to Laura’s advertising.

The studio is warm, comfortable and clean.

They have some lights which can keep up with my posing, which is very rare!

Lots of accessories etc too.

I shot a four hour session with Darcie Louise at Aura yesterday. I've visited Aura several times before but just wanted to say how much fun it is to shoot here.

Emily is always on hand to assist wherever needed, with the right knowledge and experience to help you to get the shots you're after. She's put a lot of effort and attention into her studio and it really shows. There are so many options for sets, props, backgrounds and scenes you can create, and a wide range of lights and modifiers are available, not to mention the large windows enabling some great sunlight shows if you time things right.

The shoot with Darcie was followed by a Club Night with another model, Ksenia, using one of the two hoists available for Ksenia to perform some impressive aerial work for yet another style of shooting.

You'd be a fool not to take advantage of the unique opportunities available here, either through your on bookings or with the variety of club nights, model days and themed studio days Emily offers.

Enough talk: get there and get shooting!

I've visited Aura several times for different shoots, the most recent being yesterday for a session with Darcie Louise, followed by a Club Night with Ksenia.

Both models were great and the shoots went really well, but I wanted to highlight how this is helped in no small part by how much work Emily has put in to making this such a great studio to work in. The unique space is much larger than the average photography studio, allowing Emily to offer a huge variety of backgrounds, props and sets to suit a wide range of shooting scenarios, from portraits to boudoir to ballet and more.

The studio is equipped with a good range of lighting options and modifiers (not to mention natural light from some gorgeous windows). One of the two hoists in the room enabled the Club Night model to offer some stunning aerial work in a large infinity wall space as a scenario not many other studios could offer. Emily is also an experienced model and photographer herself and is always available, if needed, to assist with the setup and lighting to help you get the looks you're after.

You'd be a fool not to take advantage of the many model days, club nights and themed studio days, or just to make bookings yourself and enjoy the wide range of facilities and shooting scenarios possible.

Another great shoot at AURA! Laura was responsive when taking the booking and dealing with the arrangements, and welcoming as ever on the day. She made sure that the model and I were comfortable, supplied with tea, and happy with the lights and backdrops (as well as moving equipment around so that we could shoot where we wanted).

Brilliant lighting and flour/powder shoot with Ayla. Can't thank Laura and Rob enough for the effort they went to to organise and host this event. And the studio was perfect. So many shooting possibilities and new sets being built. I hope I have the opportunity of returning in the near future.

This was the first time I'd managed to get down to shoot at Aura studio - and, literally: WOWZERS! Laura clearly put her heart and soul into the studio and strives to create a supreme working space for photographers complete with the offer of sets, good working equipment, props etc. And also taking into account a models side of things too as the changing facilities/area was just spot-on! Everything about my experience shooting at Aura was excellent to be honest. I have literally nothing but good things to say, and I'll try to cover everything the best I can!

To be honest, my glowing recommendation was already due before I'd got to the studio simply through my dealing with Laura and her epic comms/organisation and involvement with the shoots I did which all came via her side. We'd been chatting and I mentioned that I wasn't sure a full studio day would work with my tour (due to the hectic nature of my travels/movements etc.) but she was happy to put a shout out to her circle nonetheless and see what we could come up with. Two amazing shoots came out of this: both people verified and known my Laura as lovely professional and creative people (both were!) and the whole thing was just a breeze! I cannot thank Laura enough for her work in planning and go-betweening. As a model herself she naturally recognises the typical life and habits of the travelling model and just automatically does everything she can to help and provide an exceptional service as a studio host/events manager.

The studio space itself was the very epitome of epic and clearly offered a colossal amount of photographic scope. A lot of though injected to give models and photographers great choice and variety across the board of styles with all aspects seeming to have had the work put in to provide the best creative resources: backdrops, equipment (lighting and the ability to computer tether), the space to do things such as big jumps etc. (I'd already seen some outstanding results from things like flour and laser shoots that Laura had hosted) and even outfits/accessories/furniture - you name it! I really do feel that I only scratched the surface on my visit - but even from my single visit I can wholeheartedly clarify that Laura goes "all-in" with effort and thinking power to provide the best workable service and facilities for Aura customers.

I felt very well looked after as a model, totally safe and comfortable at Aura. :) The space had been allocated for magic exploding model suitcases (happens every time lol!) with good makeup/outfit mirrors for ensuring those looks were on-pointe with each change. I was offered delicious hot herbal teas at regular intervals (I couldn't drink them quick enough haha!) and Laura was on-hand to make sure everything was always okay/the temperate was fine and just to check if there was anything else she could help with before leaving us to it. TOTAL PROFESSIONALISM!

If you're hoping to get on-board an Aura event, or anything to do with Aura in the future - take my word for it that Laura will not rest until the best foundations have been laid for models and photographers alike to have a cracking experience. :)

A big shout out to Laura @ Aura for her workshop with Ayla that I had the privilege to attend. Possibly the best workshop I have been to for the content and shooting possibilities but also for the wonderfully friendly way the workshop was run.

Laura and Rob were welcoming and worked tirelessly to set up amazing sets with Ayla. Ayla was also wonderful as her knowledge of how lighting works best for the images we wanted to capture.

All in all a great workshop and also great value when I look at all the wonderful images produced.

Totally worth the trip from Canada. Ha.

I'm going to echo most of the other comments here, this is a fabulous studio, warm and inviting with plenty of space.

There are standing sets (which I've yet to use), an enormous infinity cove, a large changing area, heating that actually works and warms the studio to the perfect temperature, and plenty of tea on tap.

Laura and Rob are very accommodating and make the studio a friendly place to shoot.

I shall return :-)

This was my first time working at Aura Studio, and what a wonderful place it is!

The space has been utilised INCREDIBLY well, with all the sets you could possibly think of or need. Each set has been thoroughly thought out and immaculately finished, even down to the smaller details. The changing room is large, with an abundance of props and clothing; the kitchen has everything you could possibly need as a touring model; and the choice of lighting is just spot on.

This was also my first time meeting the owner, Laura. What an absolutely wonderful lady she is. She was chatty, welcoming, polite, and incredibly kind. She has clearly gone to a great amount of effort here, and it really shows.

I spent a day in this studio, and was absolutely blown away by it. I am so excited to work here again in the future.

Finally got to shoot at Aura studios, after booking booking myself on Ayla's lighting and powder shoot casting. The moment I stepped through the door, I felt welcomed and was offered a nice hot drink. The studio is amazing, with lots of different sets to work with, and was surprised to find out there was shooting space upstairs too. Laura gave me a tour, and I am honestly well impressed, and my mind started going in overdrive with all the props that were available. I had a great day out at Aura studios, and have already started to plan a shoot at the studio, using Laura's body painting skills.

This studio is a must, lovely atmosphere, great heating, lots of beverages, and someone always on hand to help.

The studio was so spacious, with multiple sets as well as huge infinity cove, and awesome lighting possibilities! Laura and Rob are so helpful and accommodating. I was looked after perfectly, and the photographers I worked with during my model day were so lovely. Totally chuffed with the range of awesome images produced there.

So I finally made it over to Aura! I'd been hearing about how wonderful it is for a long time! I'd arranged a couple of dates which had fallen through but this time (after some difficulties my end) I managed to get over! And I'm so glad I did!...

Laura's comms were fabulous (even when mine weren't) and she was very patient with that so I have to say a big thank you for that!...

The studio itself is bloody fabulous and I can certainly see why it's a favourite for many. I was greeted by Rob who was fabulous! Great energy, friendly and just nothing was too much trouble! The changing room was warm, plenty of room and mirrors. And the wardrobe!... Well there is so much you can use whilst you are at the studio, which is fabulous!...

Tea was on tap! Toilet on site (and it has a roof!!)

Lots of different sets over two floors, equipment, everything you could need both as a model or a photographer!...

Laura was absolutely lovely, again nothing was too much trouble! She even had some awesome suggestions for the workshop which helped create some great looks!...

Overall I had an awesome experience at the studio! I would highly recommend it if you haven't been before! Well looked after, nothing was too much trouble and I felt safe and looked after the whole duration.

Thanks again to Laura & Rob!...

My first visit to AURA for one of their regular studio nights. I met Rob who was super helpful with my bags and showed me around before everyone else arrived.

The studio is massive and so well equipped, plenty of space between sets and the quality is amazing! I also met Laura the owner and both clearly work so hard to have a fabulous space to work in.

Hopefully I will come to visit again soon, thank you guys for having me!

I've shot at Aura a bunch of times over recent months, attending many of the studio's brilliantly arranged club nights and workshops.

Split over two floors, the place is enormous and well equipped, offering endless photographic opportunities.

The studio is regularly attended by touring models and there's always a really wide range of events, group shoots and workshops for photographers to sign up for.

Beyond anything else, what really makes Aura special is its vibe and friendly atmosphere. Laura and Rob are always chipper and enthusiastic, with both tea and lighting assistance offered as standard. The place boasts a friendly, cooperative and welcoming community of photographers and models, who are generous with their knowledge and share a clear sense of commorarderie and appreciation of photography.

It's an altogether great place!

I alway love shooting at Aura Studio it’s such a friendly place with a great atmosphere. I attended a group event organised by Laura focusing on dynamic movement with the use of flour, and our model for the afternoon was Ayla. This has to be one of the most amazing shoots I have taken part in. The whole event was based around their very large infinity curve with a small group of 5 photographers. We each had plenty of time to take various shots of the model capturing her with the use of flour to extenuate the effect of her movements. The very knowledgeable Rob was on hand to set up the lighting and give advice as was Laura.

Laura is always so welcoming and makes you feel at home when ever you visit the studio, on top of this she works hard to organise some truly great events with some amazing models. Aura Studio is a great place to shoot at and I will definitely be going back again.

Thank you guys for yet another great event and look forward to seeing you all again soon.

I had the glorious pleasure of being invited by Laura to do one of her week day club nights along with two other models for the evening. :)

The evening ran without a hitch as I already knew it would do as Laura does everything to absolute perfection, we were split into three groups and everyone had an equal amount of 1-2-1 time with the models, each group shot me on a different set with a different outfit so everyone walked away with unique looks. I can honestly say that all the photographers were lovely, respectful, professional and very easy to work with.

Aura has such a great atmosphere to it, its friendly and relaxed, and something I always look for in a studio its bloody clean haha the models changing area is spacious and bright, coffees and teas were on tab by Laura or her minion Rob Simpson, and everyone left smiling after a good night getting some very cool shots! :D

I can’t recommend Laura or her epic studio enough!

What an amazing shoot i had today at Laura's studio.....4 hours.....it went by too fast.....was greeted by the amazing Mr Rob Simpson......he made us coffee and set the lights up for me too....all within 15 minutes of me arriving.....within the studio i lost count of the amount of different scenarios and backdrops you could shoot.....although we had brought 5 modelling outfits with us the model spent ages looking at all the clothing and props we could use.....special thanks to Rob for also helping with a posing problem we had......had a great time...had fantastic Pro help and will definitely be coming to their group castings and hiring again in the future.....110% recommend....
