I recently had the opportunity to shoot at Aura for the third time, and as usual, the experience was lovely in every way! The space itself is amazing, with tons of sets and backgrounds for finding just the right look to shoot against. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the staff is helpful and kind. As I have grown in my confidence and abilities, they always take the extra time it takes to help me get set up, fully explain any feature or equipment I’m unfamiliar with, and make me feel comfortable shooting in my own style. Finally, you simply can’t pass up the opportunity to accept a cuppa from Laura, the owner. She is a gracious host, and a joy to work with. I can wholeheartedly offer this studio my highest recommendation to photographers and models alike!

I had my first shoot at aura the other day and I most say what a great studio it is with helpful, knowledgeable staff more then happy to help. I attended the midweek model workshop which was well run and had to amazing models, then had a 1-2-1 shoot and run out of time before using a quarter of the studio. Highly recommended

I have had a few shoots at Aura of late, club nights, mid week models and a studio day, so I though it about time I left another reference!

Every time I visit I am reminded of what a friendly and relaxing place it is. There are a variety of sets and backdrops that are constantly being refreshed or switched so it is never quite the same studio on repeat visits.

Add to this helpful organisers and fellow photographers and a ready supply of tea and it makes an almost perfect environment, just add biscuits and I would probably move in.

Has been a number of years since I shot at Aura studio but its still one of my favourite local studio spaces! Great location with everything you need and lovely and warm inside unlike some other studios. Laura and Rob are super friendly and welcoming and was very impressed with the range of sets, backdrops and props available to use upstairs. Totally recommend it and look forward to my next shoot at the studio later this month! Ta x

Worked at Aura studio for the first time whilst in the area last week!

It is an incredible studio! So many different sets available where you can create so many different looks :)

The changing area is fabulous and the studio is kept lovely and warm!

Laura is a fantastic host too and I really enjoyed my day there :D

Hope to return at some point in the future!

I love working here... It has to be my favourite studio!

Its the first time i have shot here since the new owner has taken over... Its still the same great studio, loads of variety of sets/props etc...

Absolutely the right mix of support available (if you want it) and being left to get on with it!

Huge array of light and modifiers... Everything you could want (in my opinion)

Cant recommend this place highly enough!

We had a very present 4 hours shooting on Saturday. We had a very warm welcome with all the help we wanted if needed.

Despite it being bitterly cold outside the studio was lovely and warm.

The studio has a wide range of shooting areas that is currently being added to as well.

Apologies for taking forever to do this reference! I worked here with Mark Silvester for the first time earlier this month and it was fantastic. Loads of space, a huge variety of sets and props and run by lovely friendly people.

The studio has a large space with an infinity cove, several sets, one of which was unavailable due to being given a make-over by Laura and Rob. This is not a problem and keeps the settings fresh so that the photographers will always have a change of background from previous visits. Rob was on hand to move furniture into and out of the sets as required. There was no shortage of lights or help. All in all, this was a good studio to shoot in.

Would I recommend Aura?....

yes I absolutely would and do! I had a fantastic day shooting there recently for my first time in the Cambridge area. Laura was not only a fantastic host but also put me up for the night which is greatly appreciated when travelling halfway across the country. I didn’t have any stress of selling slots as this event sold out almost instantly and Laura was great at letting everyone know I was in the area.... other studios please take note of this! Promoting ALL your dates is super important, so least to say I was already impressed before I had even set foot through the door! Such a fabulous studio with more than enough room and plenty of choices of sets, props and already a fabulous wardrobe to choose from! Both Laura and Rob took very good care of me on my studio day and both are lovely and super easy to get on with. I’m really excited to be coming back already and this time for a full weekend of fun! Thankyou so so much for having me and you won’t be able to keep me away now!

Finally got to work at Aura studio and I am so glad I did. The studio itself is massive. Lovely big changing room for models, the space of the studio is amazing so many different sets and the entire studio is clean. Aura studios is WARM. I was not cold not once, Laura the studio owner looked after me very well. Lovely lady and everyone who attended my studio day was fantastic to work with.

It is so well equipped, plenty of props and sets. Has a really spacious changing room for models.

I felt so comfortable modelling here and wouldn't hesitate coming back.

I had my first shoot at the fantastically well appointed and equipped Aura Studios today. Upon arrival I was made very welcome and during my shoot was offered some really useful advice on setting up and moving the lights. I have no hesitation in recommending this studio to any Tog looking for greats sets, a really friendly atmosphere, a really big shooting space. I found all equipment / lighting to be up to date and well maintained equipment. The studio is really well run by awesome Laura Draycon who works really hard to ensure that shoots run smoothly - I simply cannot recommend this studio highly enough. I look forward to my next shoot at Aura.

Participated in the Mid Week Club for the first time. What a fantastic idea - small group of photographers (9 today), two models and two old hands (Laura and Rob) to....well, lend a hand! Loved the relaxed atmosphere, bouncing around ideas etc.

As always, Laura is the perfect host, the studio well equipped and prepped ready to go. Loved every minute of the shoot - definitely do this again.

Highly recommend Aura Studio - see you next year for loads more shooty fun!

I attended one of Aura's midweek model meet ups. An amazing space to shoot over two floors. On the ground floor is a large infinity curve with several room sets on the 1st.floor plus plain walls or colourama if needed. Lots of lights and assistance if required. Tea and coffee and a very friendly owner Laura. If you are looking for a studio in Newmarket and surrounding area this is the one.

Shot at AuraStudios today, great day spent with sets both upstairs and with two Harleys against the white infinty wall downstairs - definitely one of the best studios to work in East Anglia! Laura was a lovely hostess, lots of tea always a good sign and she really knows her lighting well. Shot with J_Bird with awesome results which I`ll work on later. Returning on Wednesday to shoot there again with days already booked in the New Year - cannot really leave any better reference than that!

I had a client request an indoor portrait session on short notice and I was able to schedule the studio in no time. The Staff at Aura were kind and were there for anything we need to ensure the shoot went well. This is my favorite studio to shoot in when the weather is unforgiving to models and equipment.

Aura is an incredible studio, by far the best East Anglia has to offer. I’ve worked here a number of times now and there’s always something new on offer, from great sets to an eclectic wardrobe and a lovely changing room. Laura is an absolute star, I highly recommend Aura to models and photographers alike.

To say I was pleasantly surprised is a mild statement ....in all honesty I drove a 100 miles from Reading to shoot at Aura and worth every minute the place is amazing, a friend recommended them and I have to say the pictures do not do the place justice, I could shoot all week and not make full use of this amazing space, Laura is an outstanding person, whom I have to say if a model let you down would a tremendous stand-in, in fact I would go back just to shoot Laura. The sets are second to none, the lighting and accessory's are perfect, plus not a bad cuppa. I am already planning a visit next year with a n other model but I make time to shoot Laura as well, plus plus plus ask her about her body painting its great

I'd joined one of the great model clubs at the studio and spotted an outfit I wanted to shoot. The owner, Laura offered to model and was ideal for it. She was amazingly helpful and knew all the tricks about her studio to ensure the shoot was a success and I got the images I wanted. Both Laura and the Studio are recommended - I'm sure I'll shoot her in the studio again soon.
