References for Map Studios

Tink Kaos

It was my first time shooting at Map with my twin Jezebelle a couple of weeks ago - we had two studios days at this EPIC space, and it couldn't have gone any more awesomely!

There is no end to what's available to shoot in this place; there's a natural light area, a barn style set, several spectacular studio set ups, so much lighting, an upstairs area (red, gothy goodness), and that stairwell though. Just a huge space to shoot whatever you like ❤ Can't wait to get back there and shoot again!

And Alex, the studio owner, is absolutely lovely, so friendly and funny, super cool; as his partner, she was such an epic soul. Thanks to you both my dears!

After 2 days of shooting at this awesome studio, I can honestly say that this is one of my favourite studios to work at in the UK....

The scenes, props, lighting and studio owner Alex are top notch, he is the perfect host and the photographers that frequent there are absolutely epic :)

I can't recommend this wonderful location enough to everyone, whether you are looking for studio lighting or natural light!

Needless to say i had yet another amazing weekend visit to Map studios (my second home) and cannot quite understand why i have to wait until March to head back! I think i need to alter my calendar to suit me!! hehe

Alan48 booked me at Map for a 3 hour shoot and I’m so pleased he did, I love working here! I feel safe, looked after and It’s a great space to work in. The derelict room has beautiful natural light and it works so so well in pictures. I can’t wait to shoot here again in November. Highly recommended from me! Thanks Alex!

This was a mini little shoot arranged by Mr Wilson to shoot with Artemis Fauna. He had a studio booked with her and asked her beforehand if I could jump in on a couple of images with her. While I waited to do that I sat and chatted with Alex and was made to feel welcome as always.

I love shooting here and can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Today was a girl/girl studio shoot at MAP Studio. As always, a cheery Alex was there to meet us all as we arrived from different parts of the country. The kettle was on and beverages were produced on demand!

We only used a couple of the many sets/areas but the results were good.

A great day out with very good results and as Arnie says " I'll be back"

Had a great shoot at Map Studios yesterday as part of a model day. It was my first time visiting, and the studio owner was welcoming and helpful - and even gave me a lift afterwards! There are some interesting props at the studio, and they were well suited to what I wanted to shoot. A great couple of hours, and I hope to visit again soon. Thanks!

It was my first time visiting MAP studio. I was really impressed with the amount of props and areas that they have to shoot in. Alex the studio owner and his wife are really friendly and helpful and actually put me up in their home during my tour. Which I cant thank them enough for. I felt totally at home there and they looked after me and made sure I had everything I needed. I cant wait to visit again sometime soon. Thanks again to both of you … I really appreciate it, Bobbi x

Had the pleasure on visiting Map studio last month for an impromptu shoot. Alex was great, answered my many many questions before the day, and in the day supplied me with cups of tea and helped in any way he could. The studio is a brilliant location, so many different sets and styles to choose from. I look forward to going back again to try out some of the different sets.

I had a fantastic day at Map Studio. Alex is a very lovely, down to earth person and was there all the time to assist with lighting. The studio itself has lots different sets and backgrounds suitable for a variety of shoots, including natural light area. All the photographers that attended the shoots were super friendly and very easy to work with. All in all I had an amazing day and look forward to returning to the studio sometime in the near future.
