Myself and model Amie Boulton are just heading back to the SW following a hugely successful 3 days of sold out events held at MAP Studios and we had a great time there!

The owner, Alex, was a great host that went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and help us throughtout the weekend wherever possible. We're already looking at dates to head back for another visit... Thanks again Alex :)

Well, what can i say??? After visiting MAP studio late last year i couldnt not return and host some events in this awesome studio, so through great communication and organisation from everyone we pulled of 3 hugely successful sold out events, a studio day and 1-2-1 lighting tuition in a weekend. Literally jam packed but im not surprised as this place rocks!! Not just because its a fantastic studio but the owner Alex goes above and beyond what youd expect from a studio owner to make sure everyone is happy. A genuinally lovely guy full of character and plenty of energy which all helps in the running of a successful studio. He literally does not stop communicating with all his clients that visit the studio. Not only this but Alex put me and the troop up for 3 nights along with his equally lovely wife and couldnt have been more accomadating. Without a doubt we are heading back to host more, its a too good opportunity to miss and too much fun not to come back and do it all again.

If you have yet to visit this studio, i strongly advise you to. You want be dissappointed!

So, I finally managed to shoot at Map Studios. Not sure why it's taken me so long to get around to shooting here. I bumped into Alex outside and was given a very warm welcome before being shown around the studio. I was there for a group shoot, Alex runs a really tight shoot and makes it fun and fair for everyone. The studio is clean, well equipped and has a good atmosphere. I'd already got another shoot booked for the end of July, but I'm thinking I might find my way back before that.

I had a wonderful studio day recently at Map!

Apart from the shoe collection being INCREDIBLE, The host Alex is an absolute legend; a fantastic host!

The studio space is a good size and full of different sets and backdrops.

Highly recommended and I will definitely be coming back!

I had my first shoot with Chris King from Unique Capture and Mike Jagger down at MAP Studio's last week.

Wow! There is loads to go at here! The studio is amazing and full of props, backdrops and set-ups. The atmosphere is really relaxed and laid back but still kept professional.

Alex the owner was lovely, he was friendly, welcoming and made me feel at ease at his studio.

I have my first model day at MAP in September and I can not wait to be back!

I can't keep away from Map Studio-not only does it provide a great platform to shoot a variety of different styles and genres, but Alex is one of the most considerate, giving and kind people I've met. His attitude is really reflected in the ethos of the studio and the interest it continues to gain.

I had photoshoot at Map Studio for the first time on Saturday with the photographer JK . I was extremely impressed with the studio. Love the look and the lighting.

Alex made me very welcome at Map. I was only there for 2 hours and because of the importance of hitting a connecting train he even picked me up and dropped me off. Everything you need for most types of shoots I would want to do is there, well laid out and hassle free. Alex helped me setup some of my own lighting and was around to help at the end. Smashing studio and I already have another shoot booked there later in the year.

Have shot at Map a few times now and always thoroughly enjoy every minute. This time was a last minute casting but as usual Alex was organised,and pre comms were faultless. I think everything was sorted within 5 minutes! Alex the owner is absolutely lovely, professional and ensures you are well looked after. One of the best run, organised studios I have encountered. Unsurprisingly, Map studios comes very highly recommended. Look forward to more future shoots at Map :)

Well what can i say...

I'm a partially sighted disabled lady with struggles and I chose to do modelling to prove to myself and others with same or similar struggles to myself.... Alex was my first shoot (maps studios) I was so nervous at first, but after meeting Alex my nerves were starting to go he was a true gentleman helped me up the stairs guided me to where I needed to be even made me a drink I have never felt so comfortable trust is definitely at the top of his list.

I chose the right people to have my first shoot with that's for sure.... Thankyou Alex and Co...

You made my day an experience to remember.

I contacted Alex a while ago about arranging a studio day and he booked me in. I was so excited about working at the studio. I was really nervous before I arrived but as soon as I met Alex I was put at ease. He was a gentleman and carried my belongings upstairs for me and was really helpful showing me round and sorting lights. Throughout the shoot he was on hand to ask any questions and checked to make sure I was okay. The studio is amazing, I was amazed by how many different sets and costumes and props there were. The dressing room was warm and had everything I needed. Alex has invited me back in August and I'm really looking forward to working there again. Would highly recommend, thanks Alex!

I've been 'commuting' between home and MAP for some 18 months now so I thought maybe its time I gave it a reference. So what can I say !! The coffee is always good and there is always (99.9% of the time) bottled water available - biscuits would be a welcome addition. But seriously I have widened my portfolio immensley thru the Model Days that are held at MAP and for me its simply a good way to meet new models and other togs sometimes. LottiiRose was at MAP yesterday and she's a prime example of why I enjoy working at MAP. Far to many to mention but they know who they are. This studio is evolving and going the right way. Just look at who is coming to MAP over the next few months - thats a reference in itself :)

I've used Msp several times, for various shoots, 1-2-1, regular model studio days and group shoots, its a very versatile studio, loads of decent studio lights and fittings, hundreds of props, plenty of decent sets, new wetroom and best of all the best cuppa in Loughborough, served by Alex the gent. I recommend Map studios to anyone.

Alex as ever is helpful and supportive and is developing his studio to offer even wider opportunities to photographers and models.

Alex has a great range of lighting and props to support the delivery of your concepts and the building itself offers many opportunities with key character features

So once more I can only comment

Had another brilliant studio weekend at Map Studios :D

The studio itself lends itself to allsorts! There are so many interesting props, areas and quirky bits of furniture, and it's constantly growing! Every time I go back there, it has changed and extra areas/ things have appeared, you certainly cannot get bored there! :D

Alex (the owner) is very organised and professional, yet completely laid back and easy to get on with/ be around :) He makes every body feel so welcome, like a friend. He always goes the extra mile for everybody, is so helpful and thoughtful, will help anybody out if he can. A genuine and lovely man, down to earth, completely respectful....ideal recipe for a brilliant studio owner. Alex is so on the ball, if he says he will do something, it is done before you even know it!

The studio is warm too and tea/ coffee is always available....(things to make models happy!) :D

Highly recommended to photographers and models :)

Just had a shoot today at map studio and Alex went out of his way to get me a certain prop ,which I asked for ,what a top bloke ,I could have shot all day covering the various sets ,which the studio provides but alas I only had two hours,many thanks Alex ,Garbo

Alex is just a fantastic host, the studio itself has everything you could want....and a bit more on top! I've worked there several times and found the abundance of sets and lights just fantastic!

And Alex himself goes above and beyond he duties of a studio owner, he reallys is fantastic. He's there if you need him, out of sight if you don't and the whole thing just works so well.

My first shoot at Maps studios was my Duo shoot with Missa Rae Berry on the 1st of April!

It was an absolutely incredible shoot and in an incredible space!

I'm really grateful for Alex for having me at the studio he is a lovely man, runs a great studio and i would absolutely love to go back there and work again, and highly recommend!
