References for Map Studios

I have now been to Map Studio a couple of times to run events. The place is more than a studio, because of the type of building you get so much for your money. Yes there is the very large studio space, fantastic, but also grungy areas to work in giving you so much choice. On top of that you also have the outside space which is such a bonus.

What really makes it though is Alex he is such a great guy.

Totally recommend.

PS. Becky his wife is fantastic such a superstar.

Alex hosted the 1960's themed shoot with Carla Monaco, Amie Boulton and Carla's husband Adrian Crook. As always he made sure we had a great day and everything ran smoothly.

What a fab weekend I've had!

Map studios hosted mine and Amie's 3 day duo and it ran perfectly. Alex and Becky were 100% the most genuine and considerate people to be around and I cannot thank them enough for having us all weekend. Went above and beyond in my opinion!

The studio is by far the biggest and most diverse that I have visited and even though the weather was amazing outside, there was plenty of urban options in and around the studio to use. Alex was on hand and avaliable throughout, which helped the days run as smooth as possible.

If I get the chance, I would definatly love to go back and would definatly recommend anyone takes a visit if they haven't already

Another great shoot at the new Map Studios.

The new Map Studios is much larger than the original and has more space for adventurous photographers to explore.

Its always great to shoot at Map Studios with Alex and Becky as they make you feel most welcome.

The was my first shoot at a studio and well worth the trip.

Alex was very helpful and has an amazing location that you can work in, also has lots of lighting etc.

Definitely plan to shoot there again.

Had another amazing couple of days at Map!! I always adore coming to Map as the hosts Alex and his wife Becky are just amazing! So accommodating, generous and lovely!

The studio is well looked after and warm (even in the derelict area), with so many areas to choose from. It really is one of the best studios I've visited and really excellent value for money!

I am always well looked after every time I visit Map and for that I am so grateful!

Highly recommended and I will definitely be coming back!!

Another great shoot at Map. Alex gets all the best model's on a regular basis and the studio has a number of cool spaces to work in.

Alex makes sure everything runs smoothly, is always around to help and provides a good environment for model's and photographers.

I have worked at Map a number of times and can highly recommend it.

Oh my good gosh!

This is truly an amazing location! I’m so jealous of you East Midlands imagists... I think it would be possible to actually get lost here, and yet on the quick tour Alex showed how the venue is expanding.

I shot with Alice Katz in the main hall and we got some fantastic images that we were truly delighted with. The studio space, is I think often overlooked in that, to get great images takes both a great model AND a great comfortable friendly studio; MAPstudios has that and then some!

Terrific host, terrific venue. Would not be at all surprised to make the journey again. Very highly recommended.

This is the first time I have used a studio to shoot a model. The studio was perfect for what I wanted and offers a number of scenes to allow various genres of shoots along with plenty of lighting to create the scenes.

Alex who owns the studio was both friendly and very helpful.

I definitely recommend this studio and will be back.

Another great full day shoot This time with the awesome Keira Lavelle. Although I organized the shoot Alex was good enough to put Keira up for the night at his house.

Map's as usual (my Go to studio)

Provided lots of sets and lighting set ups for the verious types of shots I wanted to make.

My second studio day at Map and I just love working here! When I arrived it was great to see different sets had been added since my last visit and I couldn’t wait to get started. The studio has so many different props, sets and Alex and Becky really look after their models. I feel safe there and I really hope I get the chance to work there again. Epic studio! Highly recommend!

Another epic shoot at this fantastic studio this time with Elle J on a studio day.

Alex is always friendly, welcoming,and very knowledgeable.

Always on hand ( but in his office)to help with the sets and lighting if required.

There are plenty of sets,props and three rooms plus the grungy stairway.

I have used Maps quite a few times now on studio days and my own shoot bookings. Even on short notice when when the weather has been to bad for a location shoot.

I can't recommend maps enough.

Another great shoot at the ever expanding MAP studios! I was only there a few months ago and today I got to see all the new additions props etc and like all my shoots at MAP it was great :)

Alex kindly put me up the night before to save on hotel costs and I really appreciated it! Already organised another trip back to this amazing studio

Every time a winner with this guy and his amazing Studio.

He delivers every time, and always happy to offer suggestions. You can always tell a good Studio by the calibre of the models that he has coming through ... and this man gets the best.

My favourite place!!!

I have visited map on several occasions and don't intend to stop! It may be a 9 hour round trip but always worth it. The hospitality from Alex and his wife is amazing, nothing is too much trouble, Alex is there to make sure everything runs smoothly and on top of this they are both amazing fun to be around. The studio just keeps getting better and better and customers are always very happy. There is so many shooting options and many different rooms to choose from. Can not rate this place highly enough. Will be going back on many more occasions.... If they will have me that is ;-)
