I've been interested in photography ever since I was a boy, but it was about five years ago that I began to take it seriously. Over that time I have been trying to create a unique style for myself, as well as studying what does and does not make a good photograph. I've tended to work with film rather than digital because I prefer the warmth of the images it produces. However I do see some of the benefits of using digital in terms of speed and immediacy. Nevertheless, one of the joys of photography for me is in getting "surprises" when the film is developed.

I'm now looking to do some more glamour work but which incorporates my interest in fine arts photography. At present I will work pictures, but please be aware of the time and money involved. Also, the better shoots I've done have been a success because of input from the model. If a model does not feel enthusiastic, is sulking, or clock watching, etc. then that tends to create bad feeling and shows up in the prints.
