I've attended and enjoyed several workshops with John. This one at the very fine ARB studios in Stoke was no exception. I got some great photos of Jayne Horror, who was a joy to work with. I also took away some lighting insites which I will apply at me next shoot. Warmly recommended!

I have shot alongside John at social shoots in the past, but this was my first time experiencing one of his workshops - a lighting workshop held at ARB Studios in Stoke On Trent, with Kym Williams as the model.

The workshop was very relaxed and informative, with participants encouraged to experiment with lighting and camera settings outside of their comfort zones. Help and advice was on hand where needed, with guidance and support offered throughout. The number of participants was just right for this sort of event, and I look forward to seeing what future events John schedules. Definitely recommended, for experienced photographers and beginners alike.

I have now attended four of Johns workshops, The latest was supported By Kym Williams and ARB studios.

John gives you a photographic template via the lighting set up and then you as the photographer develop the images as you desire.

John is a mine of information, going back to the old school photography methods that still have relevance in today's predominately digital world.

John talents and the good team he builds around him, help to give you the chance to learn organically by trial and error.

Yesterday we tried 5 lighting concepts that you can use in your future photographic projects.

Looking forward to the next opportunity to experiment with light.

I’ve worked with John many times over the past 6 or 7 Years, starting with my very first studio/model shoot all the way through to doing a joint shoot with him in my own studio. I’ve learned a great deal from John over the years and we have become good friends in the process. I continue to learn every time I see him or attend one of his workshops. Quite simply, John is MR Photography. With over 50 years of dedicated study and practice there isn’t much he doesn’t know about cameras, lights, lighting and working with models. He’s probably forgotten more than i will ever learn, which is saying something because I don’t think he ever forgets anything. Well nothing to do with photography anyway. So if you’re new to the photography world, or a seasoned professional I’m sure there’s plenty that John could teach you. All you have to do is join one of his workshops and ask. Every day’s a school day. :-)

He's also a really nice bloke and a real Gentleman, in the true sense of the word. And as an added bonus, you'll get to work with some amazing models as well.

Another in John's excellent series of workshops this time featuring Belle Noire at SS Creative Studio in Birmingham which I didn't know existed. John puts a lot of thought into his sets and always comes up with some unusual ideas, this time including a strawbery in a glass of sparkling wine and a cup with hiodden lettering which reveals its message once a hot liquid is poured in. Belle was the perfect model for this with her lithe flexible body creating great shapes. As usual John was offering advice and aided me in navigating the Sony's myriad menu options. Great value and a great half day out. Thanks John.

As a beginner I have now attended three tuition sessions with John and learnt so much from each of them. John is extremely knowledgable but does not force his knowledge on you. I you have a query he will carefully and patiently explain the solution and ensure that you understand. At this session (at SS Creative Studios) he had brought along one of his Sony cameras for me to try and contrast with my old Canon having remembered my comments from our previous sesson. That was so very kind.

For this 'studio light session' he had arranged for the lovely model 'Belle Noir' and set four increasingly challenging scenarios for us to try.

I would not hesitate to recommend John's services.

Pre coms were excellent and i knew where I needed to be and what to bring with plenty of notice.

John is amazingly talented and what he does and created 4 really cool and different lighting set up to get the best images.

Cant recommend working John enough if you’re a model or a photographer wanted to learn new things

This was my third delightful shoot with Simone and the second Natural Light Workshop run by SimoneH and John Duder (JD Tuition) that I have attended. Once again I learnt a great deal from the event as it was the first 'duo' shoot I had done. Simone was joined by VictoriaSummers and the contrast of blonde and brunette was fabulous as they posed so professionally, gracefully and effortlessly together.

John is extremely professional and gave sage advice and suggestions. He had set up several scenarios for us to try with natural light.

I would heartily recommend the three of them.

On Monday I attended a most interesting Natural Light Workshop run by SimoneH and John Duder (JD Tuition). It was the first time I had attended such an event and I believe that I learnt a lot both from John and Simone but also from talking to and watching the other 3 participants in action.

John is extremely knowledgable and very free and tactful in passing it on. They set up five scenarios for us to try with natural light and flash. Simone - who is just so delightfully photogenic moved easily, professionally and so very patiently from pose to pose.

I would heartily recommend them both and have already signed up for the 'duo' workshop next month.

I attended one of Johns workshops at ARB Studios with the lovely Evie Kedavra.

Some of the sets John had come up with were challenging from a camera viewpoint but if you don't practice you can never improve.

Highly recommended and hope to attend another Workshop soon.

I was very happy when John got in touch and booked me for one of his light workshop at SS creative studio in Birmingham.

I worked with John 1:1 last year and it was great. As a event organizer John is brilliant. Pre communication was spot on. The workshop day was well organized, John was making sure each photographer had chance to shoot for the same amount of time and he was very helpful with everyone. Everything run smoothly on the day. He was making sure I was ok during the shoot and had breaks with berries and grapes :D

I would recommend working with John to any creatives, photographers and models.

I am looking forward to our next shoot together in a couple of month! Thanks again John :)

My second group shoot organised by John which I have attended. Pre comms were good, and he organised the day well, making sure that each photographer had the same time with LEnza. He is very easy to get on with, very helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending him and his group shoots.

I am now working alongside John, hosting various workshops at my home, we hosted our first workshop a couple of weeks ago, this one being a Natural light GG workshop with myself and Tasha Jobbins. John was fantastic, very well organised providing information sheets of the workshop to each photographer, giving a briefing of what was planned for the workshop.

Everything went amazing and we have a couple more workshops lined up that have already sold out. I will look forward to continuing working with John on our future events.

Attended my first daylight workshop in Gloucester last week. It was tutored by the awsome JD tuition! I thought he was totally fabulous,great attitude and passion for photography of course! Made the whole studio day a breeze. It was a pleasure to get some cheeky shots in with JD Tuition as his lighting is amazing! Such a kind and welcoming gentleman. Was a total pleasure to be around. Thankyou for looking after me on my first daylight workshop. You definitely made me feel welcome. Highly recommended by me of course! Looking forward to future shoots with you! X

I worked with JD Tuition for the first time for a photoshoot ahead of an art nude workshop we will be hosting.

The shoot went very well, John has some great ideas on set ups and lighting, and knows how to create some interesting images.

Attended a fetish lighting workshop at The Facility which John organised. Well run, good choice of model and scenarios. There will always be a couple of glitches when you have six people using different kit with lights but John dealt with them effortlessly. Enjoyed the experience and came away with some excellent images.

This was the first Fetish lighting workshop at The Facility that i had attended, organised by John of course.

It was a new experience for me from the previous levels but it was very well presented and fun.

Got some very nice images from it as well
