Another great lighting workshop with JD tuition at clickaway studios on Wednesday John setup some wonderful lighting and was happy to explain the lighting setup to a newbie like myself to studio work. I highly recommend John's workshops and very well priced.

I have known John for some years, so when the casting came up for his workshop at Rococo Farm, I jumped at the chance to work with him. He ran the workshop in a very relaxed manner, making it easy for the photographers to do their own thing, but providing advice and assistance when required. I would highly recommend his workshops to both experienced and less experienced photographers. There is always something new to be learned!

I will keep an eye on the castings, and hope to work with John again soon.

Yesterday I modelled for a group-shoot with a musical theme that John had organised. The shoot was very well put together, and thought out, proving popular with photographers, six in all. There was enough time for all of the photographers to shoot their own ideas, and the sets at Clickaway studios were a good choice for the ideas that John had. Pre-event communications were excellent, and if the opportunity arose to work with John, I would take it. A very good experience, thank you.

Had my first studio session at Click Away studio with JD tuition at the weekend I was made to feel very welcome on arrival and introduced to the other photographers and our model for the day Ben M, we had great tuition from John regarding lighting setup also explaining some of the more technical side to lighting this was much appreciated by myself as I'm on a learning curve, I highly recommend this studio and will be back soon.

Would like to have a shoot with female or male ballet dancers or both together.

John, his collection of lenses and cameras and myself, took part in a short street-shoot in Walsall today, around the art gallery and the Arboretum. Pre-shoot communications were excellent, as was the shoot itself. John is very easy to get on with and is a fount of knowledge when it comes to photography and cameras, and I look forward to working with him again in August for our workshop.

I always enjoy working with John and last night was no exception.

Asked to model for one of his workshops, I had first class treatment from the start. Kindly driven to the studio by one of the photographers, it saved trying to find parking in what I knew to be an awkward area.

John always amazes me with his vast knowledge and wonderful bag of tricks (kit), last night we were treated to a new light modifier, which if my memory serves me correctly had a frenelle lens.

Of course it produced beautiful light and one of the lighting set ups he created from it was just amazing!

A lovely relaxed evening, fabulous company and of course another learning curve. Studio's, Models photographers alike, I can't recommend John enough.

I attended another of JD's workshops last night.A monthly event that John organises and runs, at Click Away Studio.

As well as providing excellent lighting advice and tuition at the events, John also ensures that the models he works with are of the highest standard. Last night was no exception. We had the pleasure of working with the wonderful French Chloe. I've been lucky enough to have worked with John on a number of occasions over the past 10 months. I have left several reference here, so I'll refrain from repeating myself. However,I will say, if you see one of John's events on PP, book yourself onto it. You will learn a great deal and you will come away with some excellent images.

I attended a lighting seminar yesterday conducted by the photographer John Duder at Click Away studio in Wednesbury, West Midlands. In addition to myself there were two other photographers and our model for the session was the wonderful French Chloe. John guided us through several sets and lighting arrangements and by the end of the evening I felt that I had learned quite a bit. John's style is friendly and supportive, creating a nice atmosphere and making the whole event most enjoyable. I would certainly hope to work with John again in future and would recommend him to other togs!

I participate to a photographic evening event organised by JD Tuition on Monday night , was a very lovely , relax atmosphere , coffee and cup cakes was offer by john during our break , all photographers was lovely , chatty , friendly ,

John was brillant at teaching the lighting to others , i had a fantastic time and i will certainly come back if i am invited .

I had a fabulous shoot in Redditch yesterday with John he organised the shoot and everything went to plan and flowed wonderfully. John has an excellent knowledge on photography and was able to produce some fantastic shots through concentrating on the light and relating it to a film noir style shoot. I would highly recommend John for photographers who are looking for in depth knowledge on how to get the lighting correct for any style shoot. Hope to work with him again soon as we really got on and worked together well!

John came along to our February show in Rotherham and shot some amazing pictures of all the burlesque acts during the evening. Capturing acts in full swing is notoriously difficult but he shot some truly great moments throughout the performances. He was professional and pleasant to work with, the pictures were just great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Would definitely work with John again and look forward to seeing more of his work ☺️

The event was really good, very professional and well run.

Lots of different set ups and he gave out some great advice and tips throughout the evening.

3rd time I have worked with John this time helping out at workshop. This was my first group shoot so I was a little nervous but John made me feel at ease :) and made sure I had plenty of coffee! John is such a kind gentleman and a pleasure to work with and hopefully il be working with him soon :)

I attended a lighting workshop at Click Away studio, organised and run by John, with the Lovely Kym Williams. I've worked with John on a number of occasions prior to this. All of them have been well organised and hugely educational. As I have mentioned in previous references, John is an excellent tutor with many years of experience to call on. His teaching style is very relaxed and friendly but he doesn't miss much. If you're having any problems he's always there with a variety of options to help resolve the issue.

The workshop was great fun, we had a variety of different lighting setups to work with, all of them explained and their merits and pitfalls pointed out. Myself and the other photographers got plenty of shooting time with Kym and all went home happy and pleased with our results.

I recommend John to any photographer, beginner or experienced and I look forward to working with him again.
