One of many stunning images created with Hakon Gronning on our adventure up to a Norwegian glacier!
Above is the 'glacial tongue'. The whole body covers over 370 kilometres² across the mountains, up to 600 metres thick at its deepest points.
Due to global warming it's sadly thawing more in the summer than it builds in the winter, retreating from the water's edge; a tranquil glacial lake below.
It was so exhilarating and humbling to see it up close, and create photographs amongst this breathtaking sight.
During the walk up we found this beautifully eroded cove shaped into the rock, for me to lay in the path of nature's history.
