I attended Shawn's workshop at Scarlet Door with Olivia Harriet... first off great choice of model Shawn.

This is my second workshop with Shawn, I strongly recommend that you try one. The lighting set ups he demonstrated were clean, quick and easily understood but the effects were really quite dramatic. Shawn can make it has complicated or as simple as you want it .

He demonstrated a 4 light portrait set up which to be honest seemed quite simple the way that Shawn did it but the photos were stunning.

Well my two days at Scarlet Door with Shawn, I have to say were AWESOME! great hospitality, laid-back vibe, and the studio had everything I needed and more! great changing area, lovely and warm, tea/coffee/jaffa cakes/chocolate and a sandwich thrown in! Even got to shoot a great video with Shawn, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The weekend flew by, because I was having so much fun! No wonder Scarlet Door has got so popular, it really is the place to be, and I'd happily do future studio days there- Highly Recommended.

I shot with Shawn after a day shoot at his gorgeous studio and as usual, had a wonderful time - he is such an amazing tog & a lovely guy, I can't wait to bother him for another shoot!

I have worked with Shawn a bunch of times, and I keep coming back. A nicer guy you won't meet, he is sound, just a lovely guy, and I feel completely satisfied that me, my models and MUAs are always gonna be well looked after by him, he consistently goes above and beyond to make sure everyone involved in a shoot enjoys it and gets the outcome they want. He is an excellent photographer, really knows his stuff, and there is no faffing about, he discusses the aim, takes all ideas on board, sets everything up quickly and gets it done seemingly effortlessly. He always produces really excellent images, completely nailing the look I'm going for! Always recommended!

Worked with Shawn the other day, was a quick shoot but was awesome. He is good at giving direction and really easy to get on with. Laid back but professional. Would love to work with him again. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic video shoot today with Shawn. This was both our first times shooting video and we decided to wing it and experiment!

After talking we got a rough concept and managed to create a super edgy, grungy and surreal piece. I am so pleased we decided to try something totally out the box and not our usual!

Shawn is an amazing photographer and a great laugh. I thoroughly loved working with him on this project and can't wait to do so on many more various projects in the future.

Highly recommended!

Right!... So where do I begin with my shoot with Shawn... Firstly it was Fecking awesome!... he met me at the station, greeted me with a smile... Quick car journey to the studio... which is an awesome space... lots of potential and space for all sorts of simple or complicated set ups!... Great make-up/dressing room area. But enough about the studio!...

The shoot!... well it was nice and relaxed... we spent some time going through images we had in mind... Then set to work!... Shawn is just an awesome photographer, a real professional who knows his camera and his lighting!... And many don't!... Nice, relaxed and I felt comfortable throughout the whole thing.

Its safe to say we got some absolutely fantastic shots!... which you will all be seeing very soon!... I'm so glad I got the chance to finally work with Shawn and it will NOT be the last time!... I would recommend Shawn to anyone!.. Model (New, experienced) or just someone from the street!...lol!

But seriously really genuine guy, great to just chill out with and have a chat... and awesome to work with as a photographer!...

Awesome Workshop, Shawn is a great tutor and photographer, he teaches all the basics in a very easy and understandable way, and you can use what he teaches you and achieve excellent results.

Jemma Funge is a real natural beauty and you only need to point the camera and you will get great images,

All who know Jimmy will not be surprised that he runs an Awesome studio, Lyon in Hersham, great sets and quality lighting

And the group who attended were really helpful and I got some technical camera help fro Jerry cheers mate

I attended one of Shawn's workshops at the Lyon Studio. Shawn is very knowledgable about many aspects but especially lighting. It was a great workshop and organised well with plenty of time to take photos, try different arrangements and ask Shawn's advice.

In a workshop or at Scarlet Door, Shawn is always on hand to help and a advise. A great bloke.

Try a Scarlet Door workshop with Shawn you won't regret it.

Was an absolute pleasure to meet & work with Shawn. A short meeting turned into a great chit chat and photo shoot. I'm over the moon with my stunning black and white images, which Shawn has already edited and sent to me. 2nd shoot with Shawn today. I bloody love this guy and the way he works. He travelled to my place and we spent the afternoon throwing some ideas together and getting great results. Can't wait to see the edits. I can't recommend him enough!

Just finished two bloomin fantastic studios days run by Shawn at Scarlet Door!:) Shawn created such a productive, Inspiring, and relaxed atmosphere, it was a total pleasure to be there. The studio is brilliant to shoot in too, clean, warm, full of all the mod cons and props. Shawn of course was absolutely fantastic, the perfect host and such an amazing photographer himself he has so much knowledge to offer, everyone on the day went away with some totally brilliant shots!:) Would 100% recommend all models photographers and really hope to come back again!

I just love working with Shawn! I've lost count of how many times we have worked together over the past few months but every time we have produced some really amazing images. Shawn is lovely, really easy to work with, a very talented and experienced photographer and we are always joking around and I never consider working with Shawn as ''going to work'' but more hanging out with a friend for the day :)

If you get the chance you should work with Shawn, You'd be an idiot to pass up the opportunity :)

What a fantastic photographer!

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with Shawn on a group Xtremeplaypen shoot and would love to travel to shoot with him again. Such a lovely gentleman, full of ideas, clear direction and happy to follow ideas from his models. Would recommend a thousand times over!

I recently attended scarlet doors studio day at Fine and Dandee studios in Wokingham which overall was a fun filled success!! the whole day run smoothly and we all got some great results! and as a added bonus I got a sneaky hours shoot with the amazing shawn who I cant recommend enough. he's work is stunning he is professional, fun and very relaxed but even though we only shot for 1 hour we got ALOT of good images :) I hope to be back down soon for another visit!

So i was lucky enough to be booked as one of the models at yesterday's Scarlet Door event at Fine and Dandee Studio in Wokingham. Not only was this awesome in itself, but I had an hour with Shawn which I was very very pleased about! Having noticed Shawn's work for a while, I knew it would be worthwhile, and I think we got some cool shots. Shawn is soo easy going, funny and considerate! you can tell he really gets photography as hes very focused and professional, he always made sure I saw the images on the back of the camera before the day was over which is always appreciated. So would I work with Shawn again? Of course I would, in a heart beat! I have been invited to his studio which I'm sure will be spectacular. Lighting wise, Shawn is perfect! so can't wait to work with him again. Thanks for a wonderful day.
