What better way to start the new year than with a shoot at Neon Dreams with Shawn!

Welcoming, respectful, great vision and knew his set up and equipment well, we zoomed through 4 sets in a short time and really got some great images and moods covered.

Fab pre comms, top host and a great knowledge. Really speedy turn around of edits. Absolutely would not hesitate to shoot again and recommend to others.

Shawn set up a studio lighting workshop at neon Dreams Studio with lovely Natasha as the model.

We had a small group participating which worked really well together, and Shawn went over various lighting rigs and described when to use them, as well as mods that might be needed depending on the studio.

Shawn was very approachable and happy to discuss any issues/questions and provide great guidance both for this and also model etiquette generally.

Highly recommended!

I recently attended a lighting workshop given by Shawn. Both Shawn & model Charlie Rose were excellent. Working in a small group of 4 photographers made for a friendly & collaborative atmosphere. Thanks to Shawn & Charlie, I came away with a stack of sharp well exposed raw images (which will keep me busy in Photoshop - experimenting with different plugins & filters.) A thanks for Shawn for making a remote shoot go without any problems. He set up the camera and reflector within a few minutes and left us to do the remote shoot, but be around if needed.

I attended a lighting workshop at Neon Dreams with Shawn and Natasha Kalashnikova, and not for the first time Shawn helped me to raise my game!

Every set was explained in simple terms that were logical and we achieved some wonderful images between us 4 photographers. The experience has encouraged me to be more experimental and creative with my own photography in the future.

Shawn replied to all my questions with no delay and was very helpful throughout.

His actual training itself was also great, he is a very skilled photographer and clearly knows his stuff.

I learnt loads in the 3 hours we had and got some great images.

Had an amazing shoot with Shawn. Great communication before and throughout the shoot. We did a combination of shots in his home studio and were lucky enough to have been blessed with the last of the good weather to do some outdoor shots.

Shawn was very professional and gave great guidance and constant feedback whilst also allowing me to freely pose and express my character on camera. He was also great company and we got along well which was beneficial for the shoot as I felt very comfortable.

We produced some great images and had a vast selection from the proofs he sent over and I can’t wait to see the final images!

After meeting Shawn for the first time about 3 years ago at Scarlet Door, I finally had the pleasure to work with him. Charliee and Shawn came to the beautiful apartment J Black Photographic and myself had in West London for our tour and it was an absolute joy to work with them both. Shawn arrived on time and was raring to go, but very understanding and gave me time to collect myself after shooting all day! He had worked out what he wanted to shoot ahead of time, meaning when we got to it we were very speedy and straight to the point. Shawn's ability to manipulate light is amazing and prtaically straight away the lighting set up was spot on! Besides from being a perfect gentleman, Shawn is very easy to talk to and conversation never stopped!

I highly recommend Shawn, and enjoyed our shot. I look forward to seeing the edits!

I attended one of Shawn's walkabout shoots in London and had a blast.

They are incredibly well organised with an abundance of beautiful locations to shoot at. The first one was at covent garden and the second in a beautiful park near Acton.

The workshops always run very smoothly, giving each photographer a wide range of shots and backdrops. He makes sure that everyone gets ample amount of time to shoot.

Highly recommended by me !
