I shot with Shawn for the first time yesterday evening - and what an amazing shoot it was! Pre-comms were great, I knew I'd be getting messy but that didn't prepare me for how fun it was going to be....Shawn immediately put me at ease with his relaxed manner and great conversation, kindly giving me a lift from the station to his gorgeous and versatile studio!

Shawn set up the scenes beautifully, he knew exactly what he wanted to capture - showing me the photos through the shoot, he is just such a professional and a brilliant artist, who I hope to work with again:)

I had a wonderful time, thank you Shawn and Jo for a lovely collaboration!

What an awesome afternoon! Shawn is a gentleman and great photographer. I felt comfortable from the minute he said hello, all the way through to doing some image editing at the end. Everything in between, clothes or not was relaxed and creative. He has a lovely studio and field... Take flat shoes if you are going out on location!

Definitely recommend!!!

After being booked at Scarlet Door for 2 days last month, the photographer I was shooting with offered Shawn some of his time with me at the end of our shoots which was really kind of him and I was very pleased to shoot with the talented Shawn. I have admired his work lots in the past and have met him a number of times when I've been in the area but somehow we'd never managed to shoot together.

Every talks about Shawn in such a wonderful way, so many say 'he's one of the nicest people you'll meet' and 'every one knows him' and now I know why. He really is such a nice person and very respectful of the model whilst on a shoot and in-between working.

I didn't have long with him but we wizzed through 2 totally different lighting set ups and in that short space we got some amazing images. He is a very talented photographer, knows his stuff completely.

I would not hesitate to recommend him, and I only hope to shoot together again :)

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this amazing photographer?

I met Shawn through another photographer who booked me in to the scarlet door for a shoot. Upon meeting Shawn we immediately organized a shoot for a few days later. Since then I have shot with Shawn on three occasions as well as helped around the studio when an assistant is needed. Together we have produced some really amazing images that I do consider some of the best in my portfolio to date, as well as that he has mentored me and taught me a lot about my work and also the work of a photographer. At this point I just look for excuses to pop in for a cup of tea or to help out when needed, I just have so much fun at the studio whether im shooting or arranging flowers for another shoot :P

I highly recommend Shawn as he is an amazing photographer and even if you have no clue about what your doing (like me most of the time :P ) he guides you into poses easily and produces gorgeous images.

I had an absolutely wonderful shoot with Shawn and his mua Joanna strange and his assistant yesterday

wow what a fab team.. and his creative side really came out

this shoot had been planned in advanced and I think the end results speak for themselves

a great guy, totally professional creative, his lighting skills were top notch

he really knows what he wanted to achieve and I think we were all happy with the end results

the chocolates were an added bonus :)

Shawn is AWESOME.

Loved the studio,his ideas and chilled out but productive atmosphere. Shawn clearly knows how to get the very best out of a model which shows in his amazing shots.

I also got to have a peek at some of ours today and...I loveeeeee them!!

I'm so glad that I finally had the chance to shoot with Shawn!

I must say that he exceeded my expectations and he came up with two ideas which were great fun to create. He knew exactly what he wanted so he was able to quickly come up with the right lighting set ups and he was able to work fast. I love the results from our shoot. He is also very laid back, personable and easy to get on with :) .... I definitely would love to work with Shawn again and Highly recommend him to all!

This was the first time, I had every shot photos in a studio. Shawn took the time to explain everything about the different types of lights, the way you configure depending on the style of shots you are taking and made the whole experinence painless. If you are new or want to understand more about lighting or studio photgraphy, he is your man

Shawn is a bloody amazing photographer!

I spent 2 whole days with Shawn, working at his studio on my recent trip to Bracknell and I can honestly say that he is one of the loveliest people ever. He made me feel welcome and comfortable during my visit (making me endless cups of coffee!) and even assisting me on my other shoots at the studio with different photographers.

Shawn works at a relaxed pace and is easy going. He has that perfect balance of giving direction if needed, yet not interrupting the model's natural flow when posing. (I find that this is a rare quality that not many photographers have!)

Would I work with Shawn again? Yes definitely! He is a truly professional, creative and talented person who is a good laugh and great to be around. Highly recommended!
