Another fab shoot with Shawn this afternoon. Always a joy to work with! Scarlet Door is like my second home and always happy to shoot there. Shawn is a great host, looks after his models, professional and over all a great guy. Most defiantly highly recommended!!

Had a fantastic shoot with Shawn!! We last minute booked and arranged a shoot at his studio! (What a lovely place!!) Shawn was really easy to work with, really knows his stuff and made sure i was fed watered and warm! Within 5 mins of getting behind the camera we had fantastic headshots in the bag and it went from there!

Very enjoyable shoot with great results!! :) Would definitely recommend anyday!! Hope to shoot with Shawn again! :)

Goodness me, Shawn knows his stuff! I had a studio day at Shawn's studio - Scarlet Door - and was booked for an hour to shoot with Shawn. His work is outstanding! We produced some great images using two ideas. One for his portrait project and another based on Helmut Newton. Shawn knows exactly what he's looking for and how to achieve it. I would highly recommend working with Shawn!

He was really easy going and very friendly. maybe next time week can plan a shoot lol

Had a fantastic shoot with Shawn today. Wow, what can I say that has not been said already! Pre-communications was impeccable, he was professional in every way possible and very welcoming. He made sure I was comfortable through out the shoot providing an endless amount of drink, music I actually like and I loved our little chats in between. Shawn allowed me to be as creative as possible, giving me time to do make up and think about outfit changes. Whilst shooting I was given some direction but was also allowed to so my own thing and put as much input into the shoot as I wanted too. From what I have seen we got some incredible results. Will love to do another shoot soon. Recommended to all. Thank you for an enjoyable shoot. Anna

Shot with the lovely Shawn at Scarlet Door on Saturday. Our shoot together was very brief but Shawn managed to deliver some amazing head shots. Highly recommended and i will look forward to shooting with him again x

Had such a awesome shoot on Friday with Shawn. It was so much fun and chilled out and we managed to shoot each look within 10 minutes. Lots of banter and his very polite and friendly :-) and I'm so happy with the final images, Looking forward to our next shoot :D highly recommended.

Finally got to shoot with Shawn again on Tuesday, we first shot about 3 years ago & I must say it was definitely worth the wait.

Shawn's communication before the shoot was great & the shoot was arranged within a few emails. He made me feel welcome as soon as I got to the studio, offering me a drink and making sure I was happy with his music ;) plus the studio was lovely and warm.

We worked through quite a few sets in a short space of time, the good thing about Shawn is once he knew we had got the shot we were looking for we moved onto the next set rather than taking loads of the same picture.

Shawn edited and sent me two pics the same eve with more the following couple of days.

I'd highly recommend shooting with him, all models old and new.

I had my first shoot with Shawn at Scarlet Door last night, and what a shoot it was!Lots of coffee was drunk, with the odd shot taken in between :) Shawn is amazing to work with, even taking great portrait shots which are very few and far between for me, and editing several shots before we even finished shooting! Blown away with the results and can't wait to shoot again.

What a great start to 2014!!

Firstly id like to thank you Shawn for making me feel very welcome every time i visit your studio.

The second i walk through the door i am welcomed with in with refreshments and a great big smile!! - cant get better than that! :D every time i have had the opportunity to work with Shawn i feel completely at home, relaxed and most importantly.. Walk out with a smile having produced some great work!! (some of my best work so far!!)

Shaun always ensures the studio is warm and is always very conversational - you may even get a little dance move or high pitched note out of him if you select the right music !!! :))

Had a great shoot this weekend and as usual... The images... Just wow! Thank you for being you! Amazing guy, amazing talent.. Amazing studio!! ♥

I look forward to working with Shawn at Scarlet Door Studios again very soon xxx

How to set the standard for the beginning of the new year... Shooting with Shawn was just awesome.

Everything about the shoot just worked & we had loads of fun with ideas & working through the sets. The pace was perfect & really productive. Shawn edited most of the images while I shot in the studio with other photographers in the late afternoon & gave me 2 print outs to take home. Totally fantastic day & I came away on a shoot high.

Would love to work together again & of course I recommend Shawn & Scarlet Door studio.

I had a shoot with Shawn in December at Scarlet Door Studios and what can i say... Amazing guy, very welcoming and made me feel comfortable through the day. the studio is well equipt with props and backdrops that would get out anyones creative spark! Ive have know Shawn for quite some time... mostly prating about in the middle of a nightclub whilst shawn would snapped away... I also hired Shawn for my 21st birthday to come to essex and be my personal tog for 20 of us to capture the memories for me to keep. I have just done my first nude shoot and who better to help me relax and feel at ease than shawn!

Very happy with the images from our last shoot, sadly had to cancel a shoot over Christmas as i could not make it down... However, i hope to been working with Shawn himself and studio days at Scarlett Door VERY soon!!

P.S... He makes a great cupa too ;)

Well organised friendly event, good facilities and good banter...

The event was well structured going through High Key, Low Key, Bodyscape and Body Sculpture... good instruction from Shawn and wonderful poses from Melissa...

I will definately take part in another event with Shawn and hope to have a one to one shoot with Mel soon...

Had a lovely shoot with Shawn at his studio yesterday, He is lovely with great personality and instantly felt comfortable around him, we got some amazing pictures and he gave me some great advise :D Defiantly worth travelling for.

Had an AMAZING shoot with Shawn on tuesday night! He's friendly and easy to talk to, not mention he had motley crue playing throughout the shoot, what more could you possibly want!?

Shawn is super fast at editing, I had a photo from each set sent to me fully edited before I had left and had a ton more the following day!

Looking forward to working with him again, I would highly recommend! :)

I was booked for a studio day at Scarlet Door on Saturday and must say it is one of the best studio days I have ever done. Efficient, well run with props galore, I cannot wait to return.

As for Shawn, he's lovely! Takes fantastic pictures, with great and interesting ideas. Pre-shoot communications were regular and with all the information I needed.

Can't wait to work together again- HIGHLY recommended.

To my delight, Shawn asked me to do one of his evening workshops. It went really well for all involved. He is so courteous of everyone else especially the model. His lighting is exceptional and the way he explains what sort of look he is wanting to create is second to none! He kept everyone's attention and taught well. He is a really lovely mas as well as and amazing photographer! x
