I finally got to shoot with shawn yesterday during my studio day at scarlet door. We shot some head shots and some fashion work which is different for me. Shawn made me feel right at ease. He's brilliant with lighting and sets ups which made sure we got some cracking images! Very happy with what we achieved and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He's very friendly and relaxed and very good at what he does :)

I had the best shoot with Shawn. He is a really lovely guy! He is extremely respectful and a fantastic photographer. I love the photos he takes and i love the way he works. Cant recommend him enough. I look forward to shooting again much more in the future. xx

I've worked both with Shawn as a photographer and in his studio several times now, and every time he's absolutely charming. Helpful with lighting, heating and making cups of tea when someone else is shooting, and competent and talented as a photographer. I'm delighted that Shawn asked me to become one of his in-house models as I couldn't have asked for a better mentor.

I worked with Shaun yesterday at Glenn Richardsons tutorial day at Shawn's studio (scarlet door studio) we only had about a minute shoot but hey! he shot quick, i posed lots and in that minute he got an Awesome image!! i love it, i'd highly recommend him!

and can't wait to see him on my model day there at the end of the month!

I had a shoot wth Shawn last week, he was very welcoming and down to earth! His studio is amazing, well set up and quirky. It was very relaxed and easy to get into the swing of things. We got some gorgeous images very quickly and i only wish i had brought more outfits! Cant wait to shoot with him again!

I had a great shoot with Shawn recently, he's very friendly and professional and has a lovely studio. We did some headshot's and outside fashion, he was very chilled out and open to ideas and I didn't feel rushed in anyway. Great shoot, great images and great guy! Recommended :) Jess xoxo

I worked as a model on a training day while Shawn was teaching lighting. He is a great teacher and I have previously never shot with Shawn but been to his studio and I can honestly say Shawn is so lovely! He takes great pictures and knows how to get the best shot!

I've had the most amazing, wacky out of this world shoots with Shawn and can't wait for the next one. Shawn has become a friend for life. He's kind, caring, professional, funny, the list goes on. I'm always relaxed shooting with him and I know the results will be mind blowing. It's a guarenteed laugh shoting with him. If you havn't considered working with him then do!!! Shawn Bishop... I first met Shawn in February this year and of course had the pleasure of working alongside him in his fantastic studio, the Scarlet Door. Shawn is a talented man in every aspect of what he does, the ideas, pre shoot set up, actual shooting and post shoot editing work are all spot on. He's a professional man with a great sense of humour that's always let my creativity shine. We have worked together a fair few times now, even if it's other photographers and models that I'm working with within his studio he NEVER fails to make everyone involved feel completely comfortable and creates such a great vibe. I always look forward to working with him or at the studio and can't wait for the next shoots we have booked in. I will be persistent in continuing to work with him and maintaining our work relationship even once I've moved. WORK WITH THIS MAN! :) :) :)

If there was anything I ever needed be it advice, a studio or a shoot Shawn would be the first person I go to. Having worked with him a few times and with more shoots in the future i highly recooment him!

I feel comoftable and at ease when ever I work with shawn and his work is allways incredible!

Had a brilliant shoot with Shawn yesterday. Was meeting him at his spacious studio and greeted with a nice cup of tea. Shawn is a such a lovely guy to work with, very detailed and professional. He even made sure that my misbehaving hair stayed in the right place. :)

We looked together at various ideas and worked on them with great enthusiasm. I absolutely loved the fact that Shawn had a screen where I could see the image straight after it was taken as it helped me to improve the poses. In our several tea breaks Shawn edited straight away the best images and although I tried to follow what he was doing it seemed like he just clicked a few things and bang...the image was perfect. Absolute wizard with the camera and the computer. Shawn is a perfectionist down to the pixel, great fun to work with. We had very relaxed and productive shoot and I walked away with six finished images. Highly recommended! Thank you so much for a great time. I'll be back soon. :)

I loved working with Shawn! He is a top guy easy to get along with which makes shooting a real pleasure, his communication skills are impeccable! He knows what he is doing; and totally recreated images better than the originals! He is very experienced and this reflects in his grasp of ideas and knowledge of how to make it happen, his interest to create unique images and try new things show his genuine interest and continual growth.

The results speak for themselves, stunning! I am just reassuring the process of creating them is just as enjoyable as viewing them :)

Also good notes: Shawn was kind enough to consider my preference for the final images which where edited and sent over promptly, his studio (Scarlet Door) has fantastic facilities for both model and photographer, including shoes!! Great atmosphere and yummy tea!

He has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to lighting ,and goes out of his way to help and set up everything Making my shoot all the more enjoyable ,

Studio is very spacious and adaptable .

I had my first shoot with Shawn on Saturday at his studio (Scarlet Door) we shot a mix of studio and outdoor as the weather was lovely.

We shot lots of different styles and achieved several different looks in the time we had. Shawn was friendly and chatty and made me feel very comfortable during the shoot.

Shawn defiantly knows what he is doing when it comes to lighting and was very happy to experiment which made the shoot very enjoyable.

I think the images speak for themselves, Shawn is a great photographer and very easy to work with.

I hope to visit Scarlet door studio again and would happily recommend both the studio and Shawn to any model/photographer.

As a returning model to Scarlet Door, Shawn and to modelling itself, I was extremely happy to do another shoot with Shawn. He never fails to impress, friendly, patient and always giving helpful advice to make my photos become the best they can be. I'd return to him over and over again if possible, I enjoy shooting with him a lot.
