I always look forward to shooting at Map Studios. Not only is the studio full of creative possibilities, but it is warm, fresh and well equipped. Alex is a great host, making models feel comfortable, safe and welcomed throughout the duration.

Alex aided each photographer with lighting set ups if required and remained very organised over the two days.

Well equipped studio, loads of props and well stocked costume store. Great for novice photographers and models too.

This was my first shoot at the studio but it certainly won't be my last.

Amazing studio, top of the range equipment to use and its gigantic. It contains an enormous selection of props ranging from wigs to cross bows even medieval 10ft crucifixes, he has it all. If not he will find or build what you want. Super friendly guy to be around, number of sets and rooms already set up and running, you can either use straight out the box or adjust to create your own personal pics. Truly has to visited to be believed.

What can I say, the Tutor Jason (InkedKandyStills) was fantastic and Alex and Crew at Map really have their act together. Great team and great venue.

Attended the Lighting workshop at Map Studios on Sat 29th and Sun 30th Oct, with Lauren Louise and InkedKandy Stills (Tutor).

The set up was great at Map Studios and as always welcoming, went away with various things about lighting.

Alex (owner of Map Studios) keen to give us details on future shoots and helpful with ideas on shoots as well.

Map studios hosted me for a studio day on my tour to Leicestershire. It's a great and versatile space - I can't wait to go back (next studio day in February) - I know it'll have evolved so much! Alex is a lovely host who ensured my comfort, and was present to assist photographers if necessary. Highly recommended and I look forward to going back.

Maps Studios clearly doesn't need this reference with over 100 amazing ones, but I will give it anyway. When I arrived alex was there to greet me, and let me store my bike inside during the shoot. I never even knew the studio was there before but I am so glad I went there and will definitely be returning. They made me feel very comfortable, helped teach me new things and even had a great talk with me about how to be as safe as possible with photographers. They fully respected my levels, and I can not wait for the photos. I definitely recommend, grab the chance to work with them if you can as you will not regret it. Very professional, and a beautiful studio.

I don't know what it is about Maps Studio and my craziness, but I'm sure I'm a lot worse when I'm there.. dressing photographers up in wigs, screaming about spiky carpets, taking loads of selfies, being fed carveries from the pub, owner to take the piss out of.. And you still get awesome images back! I mean whats to say no to? ;)

Ive been to Map so many times now, Ive lost count, I'm sure Alex wants to forget about all of it.. But I love the place, its so friendly, has a great bunch of photographers around and Alex will always look after you!

This time I did a workshop with Jason Skarratt - Inked Kandy Stills - and it was awesome! Alex manages to find some really talented people to put on different workshops and they are so worth going to!

Map studios had a lightin g day with Ink Kandy and I was a late booking no problems with emails. this is a great studio to shoot plenty of room great facilities for the models and a huge range of props/ clothes wings and jewellry . great tea as well

I live a distance away but will use the studio again

He helped out with all the promotional side of things for the studio day as well.

With over 100 glowing references below this one, MAP Studios and its owner certainly don't need my recommendation, but I'll give it anyway! I spent three days working at MAP and three nights staying at Alex's lovely home - the studio is very large, well-equipped and very versatile, and Alex is the perfect host both there and at home. I was welcomed warmly, fed, watered and entertained (especially by Daisy, the adorable Jack Russell) so the time just flew by. Alex is such a gentleman and I felt completely comfortable and safe in his presence. I can't recommend the whole experience enough and thoroughly look forward to returning.

Great studio with a friendly owner. There's lots of scope at the venue, I had a 1 hour slot with Sinopa Rin so I've only really scratched at what could be done here.

Pre-designed sets, lots of props, lots of lighting options and there's more to come I've been told.

First time shoot at Map Studios and it was a studio day with Victoriah.

Alex was great as a host and comms plus gave me a tour of the studio.

Enjoyed the shoot and used some of the light modifiers. Overall I would recommend to shoot at the studio, as there is plenty of equipment to use and loads of space in and outside the studio.

First shoot at Map Studios this week. Alex was very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble setting up the space as I wanted. They have a number of sets, a range of lights & modifiers & a vast array of props if you want them so you are only limited by your imagination. Recommended

I had my second studio day shoot at Map Studios last week, this time with Natalia, and we got to try out some more of the studio backgrounds which all worked really well. Alex was his usual fun, friendly and helpful self and even gave me a lift back to the station. I look forward to my next visit, highly recommended.

It wasn't my first time at Map Studio, but I am usually the Model :P

Alex was a great help setting up the lights for me and making sure me & my model were both ok before he left us to it. Map studio as always was great to work in, There's plenty of set ups, Props ect to use to make some really interesting images & for the price you just cant not beat it!

I will always recommend working at Map whether you are a beginner or professional!

I have done me 1st shoot at Map studio with jpea 1 day few weeks ago .

Studio it's really good . Nice clean spacious lots of props and clothes around. Everything u need it's there .
