References for Map Studios

It was my first time shooting at Map studios and it was a very pleasant experience indeed.

Pre shoot comms with Alex were easy and clear, exactly how it should be.

The studio itself is really well equipped with a great variety of areas to use and the two hour shoot absolutely flew by and Alex was in no rush to lock up and didn't mind us running the clock down to the wire.

Would i recommend Map studios? I've already made a booking for next Tuesday so that should say it all.

4th shoot at Map Studios in recent weeks. Alex was as punctual and welcoming as ever, set up the lighting for me and made us a cracking cup of tea. He let us get on with the shoot but was on hand if we needed him.

Great studio. Great guy in Alex. Highly recommended. Book a shoot here you will not be disappointed!

I had a really great time today at Map Studios open day. Alex was extremely well organised and provided tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day. It provided me with a chance to meet up with and shoot with some excellent photographers .

I went to the open day today and had the opportunity to shoot with four models, using different areas. There is a lot of room and despite the studio having an open day, we were pretty much undisturbed during shooting. Alex is a friendly guy and very helpful, even showing me part of the roof space he has plans for. When he has given any help you need, he makes himself scarce and is unobtrusive. The studio has a lot of potential. It is part of an old building, which I prefer to new "prefab" affairs. I like the "oldy worldy" places as they have more character :-)

Food and drink were available during the day which was nice.

Shot here for the first time on Sunday. Had a great shoot. Alex was very helpful and friendly and the studio has plenty of scope for all types of shots with different backgrounds and plenty of equipment to use also.Definitely recommended.

I was introduced to MapStudio today and am so pleased I was, what a lovely studio! Alex was a delight, despite the fact we tried to wreck, trash or break most things we touched today - including me (sorry!!) Lovely and warm, nice coffee and basically just a lovely environment. Lots of potential, some great sets and an especially friendly atmosphere. Recommended

Alex the owner appears to be keen to develop new model talent and invite them to his studio and I am grateful that he put me 'in touch' with one local model recently which I had a great shoot with. It is good to see the studio grow and develop over the last year too. Thanks for the contact details Alex, keep up the good work!

Absolutely loved shooting at Map today! Alex is an amazing guy and felt so comfortable the whole time! Might even be shooting again on Wednesday it was that good! Highly recommend and not only does he apparently make a good coffee he makes and amazing tea too!

Had my first shoot at MAP Studios yesterday and I couldn't fault it. Plenty of room and loads of sets, the equipment is great and Alex is a fantastic host (he doesn't make a bad coffee either). It's being continually improved and if you're into your fetish shots he caters for that too. I'm already planning my next visit, funnily enough with the same model too cause she fell in love with the place too. Get your butts over to Loughborough and pay MAP a visit and you won't be disappointed.

Visited MAP Studio today and was very impressed with this excellent venue. The studio is a very spacious being spread over 2 floor with a third in the planning. Really well thought out areas to shoot and a great selection of props.

Upstairs there are plenty of different sets and then another room for boudoir/fetish type shoots. The studio has plenty of lighting equipment and there would be an area for what ever type of shoot you were looking for.

MAP Studio is perfectly well equipped with everything you need including help, assistance, refreshments,

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this studio to any model or photographer.

I used this studio as part of Thea roses studio day and I can fully recommend it, Alex just gave me the flash trigger and left Thea and I too it, some of the results are on my port, great place :)

Excellent! My third shoot at MAP Studios in a fortnight.

Alex is a great 'host', very helpful and chatty but never gets in the way. He is really flexible on timings and very reasonable and accommodating, and encourages new and young models in a very ethical and paternal way ensuring their development in a safe and sensible way.

Summary - a really excellent studio run by a really friendly and very nice guy. The sets are great and the lighting is excellent, definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before. Well worth every penny!

I photographed for the first time at Map Studios recently and was really pleased with the images. Alex has a friendly, welcoming approach to photographers and a studio with a large number of sets and great lighting equipment. The studio is spacious and easy to work in with a great selection of furniture and props. I am looking forward to a return visit to use more of the studio to create some great images.

I was very lucky to be chosen to host a studio day with Alex at Map Studio yesterday, and it couldn't have been a better experience! Friendly whilst professional. Knowledgable and helpful without being pushy in any way. Alex really respects and looks after models that work in his studio, meaning you can fully relax and concentrate on shooting! There's a selection of outfits shoes and props there to which is great, I love trying on other peoples stuff!! Haha! Equipment is fantastic and so many options with all the different areas to explore there, I will 100% be back there soon so this Studio comes 100% recommended by me :) thanks for having me Alex.. I literally love this studio, Alex is the loveliest man I've ever met! He always makes sure I'm safe with any new photographer I take there to shoot. He helps in every way he can and makes a great cuppa! Best studio I've been to by far!

Well worth the rates and more. There's so many beautiful sets my favorite being the dungeon. Try and keep my away haha. Thanks again Alex for everything! Hope to see you again soon xx

Just had another great shoot at Map Studios. Alex was there to welcome myself, Blackroses and AdamG with a lovely cup of coffee. Everything that we needed for the shoot was there . It is such a comfortable atmosphere to work in and I would recommend the studio .
