References for Map Studios

I had a wonderful two days shooting at Map Studios recently. The creative vibe that beholds the studio is wonderful-props, shoes, outfits, different sets and hats galore. Alex is kind, generous and really takes care of the space and model at all times. He made sure I was comfortable throughout-making tea and coffee as and when. This place is definitely at the top of my list. THANK YOU so much and I look forward to visiting again (looking at my diary now!) xxx

Had my first visit to map studio and was very impressed. A number of different sets, a wall full of props and plenty of space and lighting.

Alex has everything in place and has plans for further expansion. Well worth a visit, when in the area.

I'd certainly shoot there again, given the opportunity.

Had a great shoot as part of a Model Day with Amber Rose. Loads of space with plenty of props, etc. Despite the distance from me I have a feeling I will be back!

Had a lovely mini studio day at Map today!.... Alex got in contact to see how I felt about organising a mid week studio day... So we gave it a go to see what would happen!... Comms were spot on!... I always knew if people were booked etc!.... On the day I was well looked after by Alex, always a fresh cuppa waiting!.... The studio is easy to find and he kindly dropped me back at the train station!...

The studio itself is awesome, nice and clean which is always important to me.... Great and again clean kitchen and changing facilities.... Nice big mirror which is always welcomed!... The studio itself is very big and currently being expanded further!... Already there are so many different areas to be used for many different styles/themes.... And I have to say the wardrobe there is awesome as well!... So many awesome shoes! :)....

You get very well looked after at Map... Organisation is perfect and the studio is a joy to work in!... Always kept as warm or cool as the model wants as well :)...

Came back for round two at Alex's fabulous studio for another model day. It's so easy to get to and I felt so comfortable there. Alex is so welcoming and helpful, I've not yet found a bet host. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is okay, and is on hand for the photographers when needed or happy to disappear and leave them to it.

The studio has so many wonderful props and background options I did not struggle to find different ideas. There are great kitchen and changing room facilities which is really useful, as well as a lovely big, well lit mirror.

I would recommend a trip to MAP for anyone. It's so much fun and I really hope I have a good excuse to return. Thanks so much Alex for your fantastic hosting and facilities!

Had my first shoot here today and it won't be my last! Alex the owner is great on communicating and super helpful in setting things up. There's a great range of sets (with more on the way) and so many props you won't know where to start! A great find as far as I'm concerned.

I had my first shoot at Map Studios today. There is lots of space to create some awesome images, they have a whole range of lighting, props and outfits including some killer heels 😉.

I would definitely recommend the studio to anyone and am looking forward to my next shoot with them.

Had my first long awaited shoot at Map Studios today and I don't think it will be my last.

Great communication from Alex and a joy to work with.

Plenty of options set wise at the studio and three hours flew by.

Would recommend the studio to anyone thinking of booking it.

Third time at Map today; and another great experience. Their studio days are well organised and problem free, allowing you to work easily with some great models. I have always left with a good number of great shots, and can thoroughly recommend Map to any tog.

Ive only been to Map Studio twice now, but feel like ive been going for ever, Alex is the nicest bloke I think I have ever met, hes so friendly and accomodating. He bought me a sunday lunch bac and everything - I mean what a ledgend!

The studio its self is awesome, has everything you could need, loads of set ups, lighting, props, clothes etc. Alex also has some amazing plans for the place!

Were already organising more shoots!

Shot for the third time here on Saturday at Aurelia's studio day. It's a great place to shoot and there is something new there every time you go. Alex was really helpful as usual, he's there if you want him and not if you don't!! Great place.

Had the joy of running a studio day at Map Studios on Saturday, and was really glad I did. Alex the studio owner is fantastic. His pre-comms up to the day were faultless. He is such a lovely and genuine guy to work with, and was on hand when needed throughout the day. He was very welcoming and I felt totally at home.

The studio is really well thought out with many options and tons of weird and wonderful props to use. When you start to really look around you realise just how much there is there! There was also good model facilities with a private changing room, and of course the all important tea making area!

Thanks so much for having me Alex, looking forward to using the studio again soon.

I had the lovely pleasure of hosting a studio day at the brilliant Map Studio. Pre comms were excellent and it was so quick to arrange, Alex picked me up from the station on time and the studio was only five minutes or so from the station which is fantastic.

The studio itself is just amazing, I was really spoilt for choice on where I could work, well equip with lights, reflectors, props, outfits including gorgeous corsets, lovely changing room with a large mirror and dressing gowns, different story sets from a dungeon to wall morals for beauty shots. I was seriously impressed, and each room was well heated as well!

Alex was a perfect host offering me coffees, making sure I was comfortable, and giving me a tour of the studio. Alex is so friendly, welcoming, chatty, and down to earth, he and his wonderful studio come highly recommended by me, and I look forward to being back on the 4th of June, whoop!

I went to Map Studios for Scarlett Fox's studio day - and what a great place, run by a great guy. A warm welcome into a great studio - lots of space, a good variety of areas for shooting, props and costumes galore. Lots of lights and modifiers to really capture the looks I was aiming for.

I'd be perfectly happy to shoot here again. Highly recommended.

Great studio! First time in a while that I've hired a studio to shoot in, and couldn't ask for more. So many areas to get the creative mind working, with all the lights and modifiers you'll need, I'll certainly be booking in again.

Alex offers photographers a great environment to work in, providing a mixture of sets and classic backgrounds

The studio is full of great props enabling the photographer to create the a set to meet your needs

Stocked with a wide array of lighting you can generate a set up to deliver the picture you want, Alex leaves you to get on with it, but will support if required.

Alex has attracted a wide range of quality modes, and has a great schedule for 2026, with long term plans to develop the studio and add extra features this is going to be a great environment for the photography community

Alex is highly sociable and easy to get on with and is developing a great working environment to work in

I hosted a studio day for the frist tip at Map studios. Pre-shoot comms were great and the studio also helped to advertise the day, which is always a plus. Alex made sure I was comfortable and had plenty of refreshments. He is friendly and professional. The studio itself has a lot of different, cool sets as well as amazing props. Alex was on hand to help photographers with lighting but also stayed out of the way when I was shooting. I recommend this studio to other models :)

Had my first shoot at Map Studios today and enjoyed it very much. The owner Alex was very friendly and has put together a varied series of sets for photographers. I enjoyed being able to shoot Soria on her aerial hoop and the pole at the studio. Alex has more major plans to turn the downstairs into another set in the upcoming months. Well worth a visit

I love Map Studio!! :) you feel instantly welcome and this place really lets you have fun, for example this time there was a huge box of wigs so I was just in heaven! 100% fun and laughs, with so many options set wise and also lighting to - I could happily shoot in this studio every week! (Just message me or Alex if interested to book me there!) I held a 1 to 1 shoot followed by a group shoot and time just flew! I'm over the moon with the pictures I've seen so far, I'm hoping some will appear of Alex rocking the wigs soon too!! Had my first shoot at Map studios working with Dave E. The owner was very helpful, Multiple backdrops to choose from and a lot of different furniture and accessories available to use in your images which is great. No items are fixed in place for each set so plenty of options for changing things about. Recommend the studio and would happily work here again :) x
