Finally met John at an Egyptian themed workshop at the weekend after following his work on social media for a while now.

He’s friendly and easy to get along with and the images I’ve seen look fab.

He set his shots up with ease and knew exactly what he wanted to capture. He even brought his tablet along so that he could edit and view the images as we went along.

As he’s located near to me I’m hoping we can arrange another shoot in the future as we’ve been wanting to shoot for a few years.

If you haven’t already had the opportunity, I definitely recommended working with John as you won’t be disappointed.

I look forward to shooting with John again in the future as it’s been long overdue. :)

WOW! I was so happy when John responded to my casting call. I feel grateful someone this talented wants to work with me :-)

Our last shoot was 14 years ago, crazy!

When John showed me the costumes I was going to wear, I thought wow, as they were different and something I don't usually do.

He gives great feedback on what he's looking for throughout our shoot, which really helps me create the look and pose he wants to get.

I love John's eye for detail, enthusiasm and his creativity. I could go on and on....

I really loved this shoot and went away buzzing.

Some of the images I have seen so far are amazing.

I hope we can shoot again soon!

John turned up to shoot with me at the madhouse in south wales and i have to admit , i was actually nervous to shoot with him haha.

2 hours of introduction was just not enough!! I cant even imagine what the possibillities are shooting with John .. absolutley gifted he is !!!

Not only is he a skillful photographer and photoshop WIZARD he is also a very very nice, very freindly and welcoming photographer.

I decided to pop on a casting call for a waterfall shoot in Wales. I did get a number of offers which wasn't successful. Then when John messaged me I was buzzing with excitement. He went onto say he has wanted to work with me for so long which i was very flattered.

I was looking for someone that knew what I wanted to create and John's portfolio certainly speaks for itself. It was almost 4 years since my last waterfall shoot and I wanted a photographer that could give me the images I was looking for.

From the start Pre-comms were excellent from John. We bounced some ideas and what props would be good. John has a wide selection outfits etc which he said he would bring along. On the morning John arrived spot on time to our first waterfall but sadly there was people in car park already. So John decided we go to another which was absolutely stunning. There was no one around and we got straight to it. As you will see John got some incredible shots of me by the waterfall. The rocks were terribly slippery and the water was running quite strong which getting across was tricky. But John was patient with me. The rain was a bit of a pain for John as his camera and glasses were fogging up but again this didn't distract him from capturing that image.

We then moved onto location two. It took half hour to get there. John and I just chatted away like we had known eachother for ages. When we arrived John told me he went out day before and had a look as he had never shot here before which i was so greatful for. Oh my goodness, it was absolutely amazing. There wasn't a soul around which was good. There was showers which we sheltered inside and there we had plenty of opportunity to get inside shots of this old ruins that had openings and light coming through.

This man is one hell of a photographer and I was so chuffed to have worked with this creative, talented and just a really lovely person. This for me makes a shoot when a photographer and model can create images that we are both proud off.

Thank you so so much John for everything and looking after me with cups of tea it was much appreciated haha I would be very happy to make the journey to Wales again without any hesitation.

Definitely 100 per cent highly recommended.

My second shoot with this fantastic human being and it certainly won't be my last.

I am so happy I know and get to work with John. I have admired his work for years and we had first met at the Cardiff social and we finally got to work together last year, the shoot was wonderful so I was delighted when John responded to my casting during my South Wales tour this week.

We talked about what we wanted to achieve from the shoot and both had envisioned a location shoot involving water as we achieved such amazing results last time.

We shared ideas and a mood board and John pre scouted locations and we decided on a stunning location in the Brecon Beacons followed by a beautiful waterfall in a forest.

John kindly picked me up from my hotel and drove me around all day, we had so many laughs and never get bored of each other.

When we arrived at the first location a huge storm blew in, we were high in the beacons and the rain was torrential so John suggested we take shelter in some pine trees and here we wandered completely by accident into the most beautiful mossy grotto and made the most of it capturing the most beautiful shots. John even took one for the team faceplanting in the mud trying to give me a leg up onto a tree, I have never laughed so much in my life. We both got soaked to the bone, equipment and clothes were drenched but he has the best can do attitude and made the most of the situation producing some of my favourite images this year.

We headed to the second location and it absolutely blew my mind, the most fabulous waterfall in a valley surrounded by cliffs and trees, I feel so lucky John shared this with me and the images were so beautiful.

Despite being drenched himself and carrying a ton of stuff John always made sure I was warm and comfortable and helped me when the ground was slippy, he even took me to the shops after to get some food.

I really appreciate John as a photographer but also as a friend. I hope we have many more shoots together in the future and continue our adventures falling over and getting soaked :)

Great shoot with John at one of Mick Payton's workshops. Really enjoyed working with John, friendly and professional throughout, his communication was great - letting me know exactly what he was wanting to capture in the images which allowed me to adapt my expression and posing to help capture some great images.

Also really impressed by John's creativity in his editing of images.

I had an amazing shoot recently with John where I met him on a group shoot at F/8 studio ,

He was friendly and professional throughout & his bubbly personality brightened up the day along with his creativeness with various sets we got through.

Very chatty and also knew how to capture those stand out shots! Showing me the back of the camera images as we went along I was very happy.

Just to top off the shoot we have a publication pending with a red set which we both thought was the best of the day. Excited for this to release next month

I was so chuffed that John booked a place on yesterday’s tango group shoot with my duo partner Retro Rob at F/8 Studio.

I’ve worked with John before and was so impressed with the images that he captured of Rob and myself - he really got the looks that we were portraying and I love his style of photography and editing.

John is so great to work with - fun with a great sense of humour, very creative and prepared to try new ideas.

He was a great member of the group shoot team and added plenty of positive energy to the experience.

Retro Rob

Well what a privileged it was to get to work with John again at F8 on another Retro Rob Tour but this time with my modelling partner Melany on a Dance inspired theme.

Having worked with John before and created such incredible shots I knew today he would once again pull it out the bag and he sure did from composition to originality from what I could see from the back of the camera look amazing even in it's Raw form.

With Johns great sense of humour the hours flew by and proved we still have more to create so until then thank you so much John and I am already working on some more ideas :-{)

Retro Rob

So worth the wait after all the obstacles Covid threw at us I finally got to work with John on my Retro Rob Tour of F8 on the weekend.

Having worked with John before on a duo tour with my modelling partner Melany I knew this was going to be another winner and John delivered above and beyond capturing some incredible shots from what I could see at the back of the camera.

John has a brilliant eye for a shot and a passion for what I adore which is Hollywood and Jazz so it made this shoot a dream as I just had to do my thing!

I can't wait to see the final edits and to talk about another date in the new year to continue the photographic journey .

If you want to add a touch of class to your portfolio book John he delivers above and beyond!

First time shooting with this amazing photographer and it was definitely an experience I would recommend! Very friendly and professional, made me feel safe and at ease and directed me in a way where I felt comfortable and able to pose in ways that suited what we both wanted
