I had the most amazing surprise this week whilst I was on my second Gloucestershire tour. John turned up at a group shoot I was modelling for :)

John is so lovely to work with, so creative and fun!

If you haven’t worked with him yet, you really need to!

John attended one of Mick Payton's workshops I was modelling for, he was really lovely to shoot with and a great member of our group for the day.

We got some lovely shots and had a chat here and there when there was a chance which was great too.

Definitely recommend and hope to see him again.

It was a delight to work with John at the enchanted evermore workshop. Not only this, but he already showed me a lot of the photos at the shoot, and they look amazing! He was very considerate of the model, patient and friendly. You really have the best of both worlds with him, and hopefully I’ll get to work with him in the future. I was over the moon to know John booked last minute to join an event me and studio f8 were hosting, it was an artnude fashion full day shoot and I was so pleased to get to meet and shoot with John again.

We had shot once before at Tankspace, and i remember we got along very well and we got some of the best images i created that day whilst working together.

He has a friendly and welcoming smile and is so easy to talk to and get along with, which makes it a dream to shoot with him. His work shows creativity, and his passion for photography is so clear - and contagious! :)

I felt completely comfortable when shooting with him, he gives great feedback of what hes going for - which really helps me create the image hes wanting. We played around with colours and different angles and i have to say, the best part of the whole day was watching him do his happy legs dance when looking at the back of the camera at a shot we had just taken. Its so refreshing to see such passion and his strive to create something different.

He has a great sense of humour and puts you at ease instantly - which really is the base ingredients of an epic shoot! After our first set he was already sat editing one of our images as the other photographers were taking turns shooting me.. and by the time i was on my 3rd change he already had a edit up on Instagram! Now thats speedy!

Its always a joy to work with John and see what brilliant edits he comes up with! :)

I hope to work together again soon (ooooh, maybe that duo!)

I absolutely wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to any model, be that new or experienced.. Youll have a good laugh, be creative and be a part of his ever expanding (and improving!) portfolio.

It is always a pleasure to have John at f/8 Studio. John has been to a number of our events since we started back up and he is a joy to have around.

An exceedingly knowledgable and experienced photographer, John is great to bounce ideas off of and indeed take advice from too. John is easy to get along with, fun to work with and a joy to have around the studio. The images I have seen as a result are phenomenal.

Importantly with group shoots and events John is also very patient and helpful with photographers less experienced than he.

I hope to have the pleasure of Johns company for many future events to come. Highly recommended.

John came along to a Steampunk event at F/8 Studio in Gloucester, and with him, he brought along a ton of enthusiasm, so much positive energy and excellent conversation, not to mention ideas - it's always wonderful to create with this fellow! And the images are just GORGEOUS.

John is a lovely chap, very aware of the comfort of the model, chatty, friendly, incredible artistic, and a joy to be around around. Would highly recommend this soul to all models and creatives!

I had the most amazing first shoot with John recently on my first ever Gloucestershire tour, and oh my god how amazing that was.

I put up a last minute casting and I was so happy John applied. He has an amazing portfolio and I’m so pleased to be a part of it.

John kindly met me at the studio I was working at and I followed him to our location, we drove down all these bendy lanes (not like London) haha... it was an experience in itself.

As for the shoot, we worked through loads of sets in such a short space of time and I am so happy with the images!

It was such a pleasure to meet John today at Mick Payton Studios. He made me feel comfortable from the moment we met, and it was really easy to work with him. John is a great photographer, a professional, he is very kind and really talented. You can tell he has a passion for photography with his great ideas and amazing images.

Had a bloody excellent shoot with John, whilst in my home land of Wales - unfortunately, the original location we'd planned to shoot, was being pulled down as we speak, so he sorted out a new location in minutes. And my goodness, what an absolutely stunning place it was!

John came fully equipped with lights, some gorgeous dresses and tops, and so much enthusiasm - we shot some portraits amongst the roots and branches of the Margam country park breech tree, a beautiful moody lace dress set, blue dress in the fallen leaves. The images are utterly beautiful!

John is an awesome human, so kind, respectful, lovely to chat to, an incredible eye for creating stunning images, and great fun - would highly recommend to all models and creatives. An absolute gentleman.

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with John at an underwater event at Tankspace :)! John was so friendly and chatty from the moment I walked in the door! It can be a bit intimidating walking into a room full of photographers, I never know where to start! John came up to me throughout the day for some lovely chats and made me feel instantly at ease :) I knew I had a friendly face to look to when peeping over the edge of the tank!

Shooting with John was fab and was giving great feedback while in the tank. It was awesome to see some of his amazing captures on the back of the camera (that 'yogi' shot may just be my favourite of the day)!

I hope I get to work with John again soon :)

Yayyy!!! Me and John have been chatting and sending messages back and forth for years about doing a shoot but it never was set in stone.. Until last Saturday. (and it was actually set in water!!😝)

John attended a group shoot at Tankspace in Nottingham, with me and 2 others modelling.

John was one of the first photographers in the group to approach me and introduce himself (with a covid friendly greeting!) and straight away it was easy conversation, he's a very friendly person which really helps when you're nervous about a challenging shoot ahead!

During the shoot it was very fast paced - when I popped my head up to ask if they'd like any specific poses he was great at explaining, which makes my job alot easier to get the images he wants. He had ideas and it's clear he has a true passion for photography.

The *amazing* images started popping up over the next 1 or 2 days.. He has excelled in his editing of the images by turning me into a mermaid. They have to be in my top 5 favourite images and a memory of an experience I'll never forget.

Thanks so much John! It was an absolute pleasure to finally meet you and I can't wait until we organise another and see what we can create.

I shot with John on Friday after admiring his work from a long time and honestly, what a blast we had. We did some location shots through the Wye Valley and the Forest-Of-Dean, we even got some wicked photos in a lovely stream in a white wedding dress. We shot ballgowns which John had a beautiful selection off, absolutely stunning.

John is a great laugh, creative, very professional and a true gentleman. He didn't even mind walking all the way back to the top of the hill to help me find my ring that slipped out of my bag.

Thank you for a wonderful shoot & I hope we get to work together again in the future.

It was lovely to catch up with John again at Inspire Studios recently - it's been over 18 months since our last shoot! As always, John was friendly and cheerful from the moment he arrived, got on well with the other group shoot attendees and produced some gorgeous images. Always a pleasure - recommended!

Had the pleasure of working with John this past weekend on a full day shoot. John was super easy to work with, gave great direction, and also let me do my own thing for a lot of the shooting time. There were several times I audibly said 'wow' at the back of the camera shots.

What a brilliant shoot I had with John at the awesome Inspire Studios on another Retro Rob and Melany tour date.

John is a brilliant photographer and it becomes more obvious why when you hear his passion for capturing that killer shot I not only loved working with him but also watching him collaborate on the shoot the time flew by I hope I get a chance to work with him again and yes I recommend John to anyone looking to take their Portfolio to the next level .
