Had a bloody excellent shoot with John, whilst in my home land of Wales - unfortunately, the original location we'd planned to shoot, was being pulled down as we speak, so he sorted out a new location in minutes. And my goodness, what an absolutely stunning place it was!

John came fully equipped with lights, some gorgeous dresses and tops, and so much enthusiasm - we shot some portraits amongst the roots and branches of the Margam country park breech tree, a beautiful moody lace dress set, blue dress in the fallen leaves. The images are utterly beautiful!

John is an awesome human, so kind, respectful, lovely to chat to, an incredible eye for creating stunning images, and great fun - would highly recommend to all models and creatives. An absolute gentleman.

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with John at an underwater event at Tankspace :)! John was so friendly and chatty from the moment I walked in the door! It can be a bit intimidating walking into a room full of photographers, I never know where to start! John came up to me throughout the day for some lovely chats and made me feel instantly at ease :) I knew I had a friendly face to look to when peeping over the edge of the tank!

Shooting with John was fab and was giving great feedback while in the tank. It was awesome to see some of his amazing captures on the back of the camera (that 'yogi' shot may just be my favourite of the day)!

I hope I get to work with John again soon :)

Yayyy!!! Me and John have been chatting and sending messages back and forth for years about doing a shoot but it never was set in stone.. Until last Saturday. (and it was actually set in water!!😝)

John attended a group shoot at Tankspace in Nottingham, with me and 2 others modelling.

John was one of the first photographers in the group to approach me and introduce himself (with a covid friendly greeting!) and straight away it was easy conversation, he's a very friendly person which really helps when you're nervous about a challenging shoot ahead!

During the shoot it was very fast paced - when I popped my head up to ask if they'd like any specific poses he was great at explaining, which makes my job alot easier to get the images he wants. He had ideas and it's clear he has a true passion for photography.

The *amazing* images started popping up over the next 1 or 2 days.. He has excelled in his editing of the images by turning me into a mermaid. They have to be in my top 5 favourite images and a memory of an experience I'll never forget.

Thanks so much John! It was an absolute pleasure to finally meet you and I can't wait until we organise another and see what we can create.

I shot with John on Friday after admiring his work from a long time and honestly, what a blast we had. We did some location shots through the Wye Valley and the Forest-Of-Dean, we even got some wicked photos in a lovely stream in a white wedding dress. We shot ballgowns which John had a beautiful selection off, absolutely stunning.

John is a great laugh, creative, very professional and a true gentleman. He didn't even mind walking all the way back to the top of the hill to help me find my ring that slipped out of my bag.

Thank you for a wonderful shoot & I hope we get to work together again in the future.

It was lovely to catch up with John again at Inspire Studios recently - it's been over 18 months since our last shoot! As always, John was friendly and cheerful from the moment he arrived, got on well with the other group shoot attendees and produced some gorgeous images. Always a pleasure - recommended!

Had the pleasure of working with John this past weekend on a full day shoot. John was super easy to work with, gave great direction, and also let me do my own thing for a lot of the shooting time. There were several times I audibly said 'wow' at the back of the camera shots.

What a brilliant shoot I had with John at the awesome Inspire Studios on another Retro Rob and Melany tour date.

John is a brilliant photographer and it becomes more obvious why when you hear his passion for capturing that killer shot I not only loved working with him but also watching him collaborate on the shoot the time flew by I hope I get a chance to work with him again and yes I recommend John to anyone looking to take their Portfolio to the next level .

Well what a surprise this was when John turned up at the end of my studio day. I had no idea he was booked on after wanting to work with him for quite some time now. It was absolutely well worth the wait. We only had 2 hours but he is totally bursting with ideas. He brought plenty of clothing for us to use and he has such good taste. Definitely need to work together again. He knows exactly what he wants to create from his images and love to see how much of a perfectionist he is when getting the lighting right. His work speaks for itself and his personality matches. A lovely, lovely gentleman :)

I love working with this gentleman... yes! Gentleman! John is a genuinely lovely creative person to be around and work with and takes absolutely cracking shots of me every time we work together. We’ve already had about five shoots in the short space of time we’ve known each other, which I think speaks for itself really that we just click... yep pun intended, I went there haha!

If you ever get the chance to work with John then please do, because this gentleman will get the best best shots of you, come up with cool new techniques and gadgets AND! He’s just fun to work with! DO IT!

What a truly lovely guy John is, it was a pleasure having him at the studio for the first time and look forward to seeing him again. John attended a workshop I was modelling for at Mick Payton Studios, I always love shooting there and it was such a pleasure to meet the wonderful John and get to shoot with his super talented self. Oh this man! We met briefly on a workshop with Chris Conway, but he left such a lasting impression ♥

John made me feel so comfortable from the moment we met. Welcoming smile, great chat, he came across as a kind soul! He even laughed at my poor jokes! You can tell John has a real passion for photography and his work speaks for itself!!

John's not shy to tell you what he 's looking for, but does it in such a well manner and is open to you doing your own thing too! I would absolutely work with John again in a heartbeat and can't recommend him enough :)

I had the absolute pleasure of working with John for the first time last week, what a brilliant day it was.

Pre communications were great, and very professional from start to finish. On the day John came to my corner of Wales and we worked at two different locations,one a derelict creamery and second a secret corner of Welsh heaven getting a very varied amount of shots throughout the day.

John brought an absolute huge amount of outfits, props and things to use which was brilliant! He is a great photographer with a great eye and brilliant ideas. I really enjoyed working with him and hopefully will again sometime soon!

100% recommend working with this great photographer to all models new and experienced :)
