Well what a surprise this was when John turned up at the end of my studio day. I had no idea he was booked on after wanting to work with him for quite some time now. It was absolutely well worth the wait. We only had 2 hours but he is totally bursting with ideas. He brought plenty of clothing for us to use and he has such good taste. Definitely need to work together again. He knows exactly what he wants to create from his images and love to see how much of a perfectionist he is when getting the lighting right. His work speaks for itself and his personality matches. A lovely, lovely gentleman :)

I love working with this gentleman... yes! Gentleman! John is a genuinely lovely creative person to be around and work with and takes absolutely cracking shots of me every time we work together. We’ve already had about five shoots in the short space of time we’ve known each other, which I think speaks for itself really that we just click... yep pun intended, I went there haha!

If you ever get the chance to work with John then please do, because this gentleman will get the best best shots of you, come up with cool new techniques and gadgets AND! He’s just fun to work with! DO IT!

What a truly lovely guy John is, it was a pleasure having him at the studio for the first time and look forward to seeing him again. He fitted in really well with the others on the group shoot and was great with the model too. He also had some great ideas just to make his images have an edge to the others. John attended a workshop I was modelling for at Mick Payton Studios, I always love shooting there and it was such a pleasure to meet the wonderful John and get to shoot with his super talented self. A kind and easy to work with gent. John knows what he wants and there was never any hassle, great with direction and also allowing me to be free with my creativity. The MUA Karen did a smashing job also and Johns creativity really did shine through with some amazing work that was published on a front cover and shared globally. Totally love it.

So yes, if you haven't gathered its a big yes from me! Highly recommend shooting with John, you will not be disappointed. :-D

Oh this man! We met briefly on a workshop with Chris Conway, but he left such a lasting impression ♥

John made me feel so comfortable from the moment we met. Welcoming smile, great chat, he came across as a kind soul! He even laughed at my poor jokes! You can tell John has a real passion for photography and his work speaks for itself!!

John's not shy to tell you what he 's looking for, but does it in such a well manner and is open to you doing your own thing too! I would absolutely work with John again in a heartbeat and can't recommend him enough :)

I had a really fab time working with John for the first time, where I also modelled with Carla and Artemis Fauna (who organised the Secret Garden shoot).

He was really lovely, enthusiastic, positive and easy going! I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot, his company and loved his images! I can happily recommend him and look forward to the next time! :-)

We were blessed, yet again, with a wonderful evening weather wise- all the pairs I put the photographers in seemed to work super well too and I think a brilliant time was had by all!

I had the absolute pleasure of working with John for the first time last week, what a brilliant day it was.

Pre communications were great, and very professional from start to finish. On the day John came to my corner of Wales and we worked at two different locations,one a derelict creamery and second a secret corner of Welsh heaven getting a very varied amount of shots throughout the day.

John brought an absolute huge amount of outfits, props and things to use which was brilliant! He is a great photographer with a great eye and brilliant ideas. I really enjoyed working with him and hopefully will again sometime soon!

100% recommend working with this great photographer to all models new and experienced :)

Now John is one hell of a fine photographer to work with. We’ve mutually followed each other’s work for quite some time... and now I’ve had the chance to work with him TWICE is six months! I’m well happy! What I love about John is that he doesn’t just turn upto the studio clueless and suggest the mundane.... he has already built fully devised concepts and hell, he ain’t afraid to bring you plenty of props! I had a wonderful time working with John at PoZeRs in Swindon last week. Travelling from Wales to shoot my little face made me feel truely honoured that a photographer of johns level and skill would go out of his way to come and work with me TWICE! Thankyou so so much!

This will certainly not be the last time.

I Wwrked with John for the first time this weekend when they attended Chris Conway's creative lighting event hosted at Studio Hire Plymouth.

Upon their warly arrival they were very chatty and polite and made me feel very comfortable instantly.

During the workshop, John was very chatty and enthusiastic towards me and his work and he had great energy!

The images he created looked fantastic on the back of the camera and I look forward to seeing more of what we captured!

I first met the lovely John when he booked in on mine and my partners urbex style workshop.

Having already followed his account for sometime I was excited to have him on board and he arrived on time ready a rearing to go. There was a slight hiccup as the owner did not arrive at the scheduled time and we were wondering if he had forgotten entirely, but this did not hamper johns attitude he remained calm and positive the whole time.

Once finally inside the location it was really great to get shooting and John has a real eye for the type of shots he wants and even had a beautiful black rose headcrown which completed my last look perfectly!

All in all John is professional, friendly, chatty and a total laugh to be around, his upbeat energy and enthusiasm shows and I could not recommend him more to any and every level of model!

It was a true pleasure to work with you John, absolutely loving the images I have seen so far and hope to see some more from what was a great event, I hope to work with you again later in the year upon my return to the UK :)

Finally I got a chance to work with John! After years of mutual following and liking each other’s work John managed to jump on a 1-2-1 session with me at Dark Lens studio I’m Wolverhampton. I loved our session! John is super creative and fun to work with. He had a laugh putting me inside a large bird cage and enjoyed messing around with lights and angles together. A real gem and a highly recommended must work work from me. Thankyou so much for coming!

I have had the pleasure f working with John previously on events but on Friday i got to work with him 1-1 and i'm so pleased i did. I already knew what a great guy he was but it was fab to see him work in his style and see his creativity kick in! John was amazing over the fact i got stuck in the most horrendous traffic and was late for my shoot (the first time ever) and i was mortified but he was so cool about it even though it meant we had less of the sun on location and made the shoot a bit more tricky, he was so understanding. His ideas were amazing and he pulled them off beautifully and i got to be an angel and Mary poppins throughout the shoot. down to earth, fun and an absolute pleasure to model for. He made sure i got back to the place i was staying safely and made sure i was comfortable and warm for the whole duration of the shoot. I can't praise him enough and im already looking forward to another shoot. Thank you John for making the start of my tour a brilliant start!

John booked onto another one of my events- this time the 'Malmesbury Murder Mystery' with DarrenS and myself!

It was a fabulous evening and the four photographers who booked on got on great- John was super friendly, chatty and fun to shoot with as before- I really do hope I can work with him on a 1-2-1 basis one day :)

I got to meet and work with John last Friday, at a film noir group event, hosted by myself and Artemis Fauna.

I found John great to work with, very creative, has a great personality and he got on really well with the other photographers involved too.

I caught a few behind the camera shots during the shoot, which looked really awesome :) I look forward to working with again.
