I got to work with John recently again on Mick Payton’s workshop! John is always lovely to work with and has an energetic,positive attitude! He is always providing good feedback throughout the shoot which helps immensely.

💜 This is the second time I have worked with John and he is fantastic and such a talented photographer. His work is out of this world and I love how he edits his images. He brought down a bag of costumes that he wanted me to wear for our shoot and omg I was in love straight away and we did some latex too that I have been dying to do more of. Shot with John for the first time on the weekend just gone as he booked to attend Mick Payton's workshop with me :)

He was a great communicator during a shoot. I also think he's strength is in his post processing that really puts a signature to his photography.

Excellent experience throughout, hope we will work together sometime in the future again.

Stella Star

Woweee just had the absolute pleasure shooting with John again. We only had a brief shoot really in Plymouth, studio based. This time we did the total opposite. Outside, in a cliff side, in a rockpool, fantasy based, then a natural set in a natural setting.

The location really delivered and then some. But so did our collaboration. We thought we would be organised and make a bit of a moodboard, but as soon as we got there, we looked at what we brought (mainly John - if not all actually!) and boom, it all came together.

There was a lot of laughs shared on the shoot. John is also very professional and understanding to the models position. I was ask frequently if I was ok in where I was stood or what I was wearing throughout the shoot.

Overall John is fully prepared for a shoot, even prepared with nibbles to and coffee to keep you going! Comms were great and his work speaks for itself.

Super chuffed with how much he grows with his work. If you haven't shot with Him...I think it's time, is it not?

I met John at my Studio Day down in wales that mick Payton organised. John was so down to earth, professional and so bubbly. I loved how confident he was, if there was a idea in mind like a pose or an emotion he will throw it at me. He knows exactly what he wanted from the shoot. And omg the photos that he produced and his editing was phenomenal haven’t seen images like that in ages. I love how much passion and effort he puts into it. You can tell by his work. His a very enthusiastic person and I hope I get to work with him again very soon. 💖

John was a pleasure to work with. He knew what he wanted to get during the tight time slots, made the most of the time, was friendly, had a laugh and gave good direction.

John came to a workshop photoshoot I was modelling for. He was very friendly but also professional, as well as having plenty of ideas for photos. However, he still allowed me to pose freely and made me feel very comfortable shooting. The pictures look very beautiful and professional. I would definitely recommend John.

Had my first shoot with John today and there was nothing that could have gone better or anything more that I could have asked for! Precoms was fantastic as he sent me some photos of the location he wanted to shoot (it was a breathtaking location alone!) and we spoke about some ideas. On the day, John was respectful, polite and as happy as I was to get into Odd positions to get the perfect shot. He had some amazing ideas and after moving onto the second location and dipping into freezing water, he offered tea and biscuits to my hearts content!

Overall one of my favourite most recent shoots and I CANNOT wait to see the photos and work with John again!

John and I have been talking about shooting for almost a decade lol, so I am so pleased to finally be able to leave him a reference and say we finally shot. John is very personable, polite and considerate. He takes great care over his photography, wanting to get his composition just right, I saw some of our photos on the back of the camera and they looked beautiful so I can’t wait to see what the finished results will be.
