Had the pleasure of shooting with John for a second time at a group shoot at Alastair Currills Studio a few weeks ago. John was as friendly as ever and had some nice ideas of his own that he wanted to shoot. As ever with a group shoot, it can be difficult to really get to know someone and comment on what they are like, as you have so little time to get to know them, but having John there was great and there was a nice relaxed vibe.

I worked with John for the first time just last night at my "Secret Garden event" with second model Carla Monaco :)

John took some superb images in the time we had- solo and duo and I am super excited to see the results! I also enjoyed working with him- we had a really good laugh :)

The Old Chapel Studio - CLOSED

We welcomed John to the studio for the first time on Valis's studio day; unfortunately we had to cancel the previous studio day due to snow but John was very understanding and booked for this replacement date. The communications pre-shoot were fabulous, John explained his plans which was helpful for us to understand his needs on the day. He arrived in good time for his session and was very pleasant and courteous throughout.

It was a pleasure meeting John and look forward to seeing him back at the studio again.

I was absolutely delighted that the lovely John came to shoot with me in Bristol! I had a long day of not doing allot due to cancellations but Johns enthusiastic nature got me in the mood for shooting. He brought fun outfits/wigs to try too (always fun to have a new look!) What can I say about John that hasn't already been said?

He is such a dude, we immediately hit it off, laughing and chatting all the way through - this man has an absolutely epic way with the camera, perfection with the lighting collection he brought and the images really do speak for themselves!

On tuesday I had the privilege of shooting with John for the first time - and what a fantastic shoot it was!

John was amazing with the animals, handling them like a pro whenever passed to him. Many photographers struggle working with moving subjects, John is not one of these. His talent at photographing my babies instantly impressed me, with the back of the camera shots being amazing on their own, and proving his ability of getting on point raw images! He was confident and took to the animals so well.

John was a delight to shoot with and I cant wait to see what we can produce in the future!

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting with John for the first time. John came highly recommended from a few individuals I know well so I was very anxious to meet and work with him.

Pre-shoot communications were brilliant, and we quickly came up with ideas and dates. We decided to shoot at mine so we would have lots of animals to choose from.

John arrived on time, and instantly made me feel comfortable. He came prepared with lights, backgrounds, props and all. It was wonderful to meet someone so creative. We set up a little studio in my kitchen and got to work! John seemed to know exactly what I was going for every time, and managed to capture every shot exactly how I wanted it! Having seen a few of the final edits I am over the moon and extremely impressed. He was easy-going yet still professional, an absolute delight to work with and a genuinely lovely man. I thoroughly enjoyed our shoot, and I hope I have the pleasure of working with him again soon!

I would recommend John to all of you, trust me you wont be disappointed!!!

Had such a lovely time shooting with John! What an outstanding photographer and lovely down to earth person.

We met at a model and photographer meet and John knew straight away the type of shoot he wanted to do. He came equipped with clothes, jewellery, face paint, and countless amounts of props!

I'm glad to have been able to work with such a talented photographer, and I know this won't be our only shoot together.

Had a wonderful shoot recently with John as he was recommended to me by other models due to his professionalism and friendly nature. He had the most perfect waterfall outdoor location lined up for our shoot and we clicked straight away which is always a relief. John even brought dry towels because he knew things might be muddy and wet at the location; such a gentleman! We were lucky enough to be blessed with some yummy natural light albeit a few dog walkers who stumbled across our shoot, but John remained calm and we created some stunning shots! You can tell John is passionate about photography and not just some man with a cam as he's also creative with costume making! Absolutely loved meeting you John. Highly recommended :)

My second time shooting with this bundle of awesomeness and what a great day it was. John decided to join us for a complete day of events hosted at Oldway mansion hosted by Chris Conway and he was the perfect attendee. He was chatty, fun, full of energy, respectful towards me and other members of the group. The day wouldnt have been the same without him. His work is great and he has a clear passion for photography but his port doesnt show you what a genuine guy he is also. I had the pleasure of modelling for him again during a recent trip to Wales, and despite the less than favourable weather, we produced some brilliant images in a short space of time. I was unuaware that he was one of the attendees of a workshop i was modelling for and after briefly meeting him at Studio hire Plymouth it was a really lovely surprise. John is a perfect gent and knows exactly how to work with models, treating them with respect and directs really well to get that killer shot hes after.
