I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and working with John for the first time earlier this week at my duo studio day with Jezebelle at Far Forest Studio.

John has worked with Jez before and I could tell right away from their interactions that John was an easy-going and personable guy as they were obviously very comfortable in each other’s company. As the shoot progressed and I found time to chat and shoot with John this was definitely confirmed and I had an absolutely lovely time in his company.

John is kind and considerate too and stopped multiple times to share the back of cam with us so we knew what we were getting. He gave lovely feedback throughout the shoot so we knew we were right on track.

John’s work is just lovely, and the edits I’ve seen so far are beautiful! John likes to think outside the box and he brought some really interesting props along with him that added a creative flare to the images.

I’d recommend John to anyone and hope to work with him again at some point in the future!

Far Forest Studio

We were pleased to welcome John to our studio yesterday for his first visit and we hope it wont be his last.

A complete gentleman, as expected from an ex fellow of the corps, who is as much as a professional away from the camera as he is behind it.

On a group shoot it is essential that everyone enjoys the day and Johns inclusive and open friendly manner certainly went a long way to make everyone feel involved. Especially the lesser experienced photographers who were not at all overawed as is often the case....

Both models had a wonderful time shooting with him as well which will certainly lead to some great photographs.

Highly recommended to and studio or model.

I love shooting with this amazing photographer - he travelled all the way up to shoot myself and Miss Rosie Lea as a duo on our recent event, bringing some wonderful props and his ever expanding knowledge, the back of camera images looked stunning & he works so effortlessly!

John is a definite fave to work with, he is gentle, fun and has a beautifully creative streak that really does show in his work :)

There aren't enough words to describe how much I recommend this lovely fellow, he's awesome with the camera and just as epic to hang out with!

My first shoot with John at Pozers studio :) and it was an awesome one.. as soon as he said the words ‘mermaid tail’ I knew it was going to be fun. He has tons of the most beautiful outfits.. sexy latex, unique designs and beautiful accessories. It’s so nice when a photographer comes along with so much awesome stuff and crazy ideas to go with them. Myself, John and Alley made the perfect little team! The mermaid theme went from strength to strength as we all put our own spin on it.. the images looked truly incredible! We also did some lovely portraits and last but certainly not least a dress which was stunning, revealing my shape to perfection. John is a great person and brilliant company, we chatted so much and got to know each other well. He is respectful, creative, genuine and kind! Had my second shoot with John today and he is just bloody lovely isn't he! Ellie B was nice enough to ask me to shoot with her to whixh John shot. John was so patient with me freaking out with the snakes. But he was really good and accommodating and we managed to get some really amazing images!! Can't wait for our shoot tomorrow... haha ! And I cannot wait to see what we got from today. History John you were a saint today so thank you very much

Yet another great shoot with John - this time a full day during my recent trip to Wales. John had found some stunning locations and sourced some amazing outfits; a recipe for great images! Sadly we had to cut the shoot a little short due to being caught in a torrential rainstorm but as always it was a pleasure and I look forward to next time. Highly recommended!

John is amazing !he's a really lovely down to earth guy and we had a laugh the whole time. This was our first shoot (and many to come) and it couldn't have gone better. Our initial location wasn't available so we both agreed on road park and we both loved it !John made use of the bright colourful flowers and the end result is just amazing ! I really did have fun shooting with John and would highly recommend him x

I shot with John during my Wales tour, we visited some cool locations he had sent me via Pinterest before our shoot, and also used his drone for a few shots, which was a 1st for me. He is great to work with - professional, easy going and friendly, and quick to deliver edits. Oh, and he also supplied protein bars and fruit, for thoughtful measure (:

Had a lovely first shoot with John on my impromptu mini- tour of Wales. I've long admired John's photography, and so was delighted when he responded to my last-minute casting call. We hurriedly arranged to shoot, and John kindly picked me up and swept me away to a fantastic derelict location, where we were able to shoot ballet uninterrupted- up until almost the very end- blissfully uninterrupted. It was a really pleasureable, creative shoot, as we were able to take our time, and experiment with lighting and movement. It was apparently John's first ballet shoot, but he was quick to pick up the timing on my jetés/ split leaps, and he got some really lovely lighting effects. The location was terrific- like an ideal ballet studio, with high arched windows and a plenitude of space and natural light- except that it was derelict, which was stylistically and creatively interesting- and it was so lovely to just experiment creatively with John, who allowed me to pursue some of my madder ideas, such as doing the splits on a high window ledge from the second floor outside the building, or corrupting the Cookie Monster. :)

Highly Recommended, and I hope we will work together again soon. Thank you John. xx

I had my first shoot with John on Monday and it was brilliant, we had the perfect weather and got the perfect pics from what I saw on camera.. :) he was so easy to work with, friendly, great convo, lots of good ideas and very professional..

He asked if he could take my home with him at the end of the shoot as he loved the lighting :)

I very highly recommend John and looking forward to our next shoot

He knows all the beautiful locations and even treated me to lunch, John is a wonderfully respectful photographer, who is professional to the max and has such an epic way with his camera :)

We could chat for days! I can't recommend this incredible human enough to all models, he's such a fantastic photographer to shoot with :)

Had the pleasure of shooting with John for a second time at a group shoot at Alastair Currills Studio a few weeks ago. John was as friendly as ever and had some nice ideas of his own that he wanted to shoot. As ever with a group shoot, it can be difficult to really get to know someone and comment on what they are like, as you have so little time to get to know them, but having John there was great and there was a nice relaxed vibe.

Artemis Fauna

I worked with John for the first time just last night at my "Secret Garden event" with second model Carla Monaco :)

John took some superb images in the time we had- solo and duo and I am super excited to see the results! I also enjoyed working with him- we had a really good laugh :)

The Old Chapel Studio - CLOSED

We welcomed John to the studio for the first time on Valis's studio day; unfortunately we had to cancel the previous studio day due to snow but John was very understanding and booked for this replacement date. The communications pre-shoot were fabulous, John explained his plans which was helpful for us to understand his needs on the day. He arrived in good time for his session and was very pleasant and courteous throughout.

It was a pleasure meeting John and look forward to seeing him back at the studio again.

I was absolutely delighted that the lovely John came to shoot with me in Bristol! I had a long day of not doing allot due to cancellations but Johns enthusiastic nature got me in the mood for shooting. He brought fun outfits/wigs to try too (always fun to have a new look!)
