Ghost Light Photography

Shooting with Helen is just such fun. It must be as I keep coming back for more of this crazy lady. This time we included a road trip to some ruins complete with a treacherous hike up a near vertical path. You would think this would put most people off visiting so thank god the scout troop arrived before we got started!! I don't think we scared them too much and we were quickly able to get shooting inside as they had a snack outside.

Then we returned to her home for the second phase of our shoot, trying some new things and bouncing ideas between us to create some great images. This exceptional lady has a fantastic energy and keeps going as long as the camera keeps clicking away.

Thanks for another terrific shoot and I look forward to our next adventure.

It has been a long time coming, but I finally got my chance to work with Helen.

Wow just wow, i'm sure it's been said so many times but this lady is a superstar in every sense of the word.

A totally amazing model, a joy to work with & such a wonderful person to be around (& so very funny too!)

Another lovely shoot with the beautiful Helen Diaz today. I always try and take advantage of her forays into deepest Essex and I've never been disappointed!

I pushed Helen outside her comfort zone this time with some decidedly non-serious ideas and some outdoor locations and Helen rose to the challenge with aplomb and we got some lovely shots.

It's always such a pleasure chatting with her over a cup of green tea, or a hot chocolate ;) and she is truly a lovely lady.

Professional, loads of outfits despite being on the road, lovely posing, etc. etc. Everything you would expect from a top class model really. Highly recommended.

Had another brill shoot with the super fab Helen last month and all I can say is 'wow' again !!! - as I really can't think of enough positive ways to describe the phenomenon that is Ms Diaz, but here goes :)

Such a joy to work with, Helen is a truly great model gifted with beautiful looks and a figure to match plus the ability to apply those qualities via subtle facial expressions and some serious shape throwing in the posing department to achieve the shots your looking for.

Immense fun, yet totally professional Helen is also a lovely person who is extremely hardworking and committed and just so happens to be expertly skilled at hair and make up too, enabling her to effortlessly conjure up a variety of different looks across a multitude of differing modelling genres.

Just remains to say, I would totally have no doubt in recommending Helen to all photographers 100% and would hope to shoot with her again in the not too distant future.

The Art of Darkness

I had a fabulous first shoot with Helen today. I really enjoyed myself and found Helen to be fun, bursting with enthusiam, visually stunning and marvelous to work with. I recently returned from a week-long trip to the South of France with Helen and a few other models. We had briefly met before but it was a pleasure to get to know this vivacious and engaging woman over the course of the week. We managed to squeeze in a short duo session but whenever I saw her working, I was blown away by her ability to nail each and every shot, over and over again in 30+ degree heat! Wherever I was in the vast chateau, I could usually hear Helen and her photographer laughing - the sign of a great shoot! Everyone had wonderful things to say about her and I can only echo them.

When someone has 900 positive references it probably goes without saying that Helen is on of the very best models around, I doubt that I can say anything original about Helen but having spent a whole week with her I hope that I can at least do her justice.

My wife and I just spent a whole week in a fabulous French Chateau with Helen and four other models. The setting was incredible, and Helen really did it justice. Helen is renowned for her art nude work, and she really is incredibly good in the genre. That said, don't make the mistake of thinking you should work exclusively in that area with Helen. She is a fabulous all rounder, creative, skilled, great hair, beautiful eyes, superb make up and a real talent for portraying emotion.

There is never a dull moment with Helen. She is a very funny lady and frequently had me in stitches, her sense of humour has to be experienced to be understood.

Over the course of a week I shot pretty much everything you could imagine with Helen. Art nude, both indoors and outdoors, lingerie, singles, duo's groups, boy-girl (fashion and art nude), classic portraiture, renaissance gowns, and so much more. Helen rocked every set.

Helen is a remarkable model, a complex, beautiful and entertaining character, who is great fun to work with.

My wife and I expected to come back from France with great images and fabulous memories, we also returned with four adopted daughters I'm proud to say that Helen is one of them.

I can't recommend Helen any more highly than to say that she is now part of the family. ❤️

Having wanted to work with Helen for years, I jumped at the chance last week and I am so pleased I did; one of the best art-nude models I have ever worked with. As creative as she is beautiful, she flows from pose to pose delivering perfection every time. Recommended!

Helen was part of a recent group shoot in a wonderful chateau in France for a week with 4 other models.

A lovely, entertaining addition to the group. Helen's is obviously a very experienced model and her effortless posing and ideas reflected this. She brings guaranteed great images from her signature art nude to duo fashion. Little direction needed which means you can attempt some more ambitious ideas, that require considerable distance between you and the model.

I had the absolute joy of working with Helen for a second time, this time over the course of a few days at a group event at a mediaeval château in the south of France.

Helen's infectious sense of humour kept the whole group bubbling during the downtime between shooting, but her professionalism in front of the camera was switched on the second it was wanted, and her ability to read the picture being created and mould herself into it was perfect.

She's an utter nutter, but an utterly recommended utter nutter!

Helen was in the area and suggested a shoot, so of course I said yes. Despite a long journey on the hottest day of the year she arrived on time, looking fresh and ready to shoot. We spent some time in the local park, Helen looked the part in a lovely summer dress and wasn't at all put off by numerous dogs and their walkers. Back at my house she continued modelling to her usual high standards despite the energy-sapping heat. Very pleased with the images from two very different types of shoot. As ever Helen was a class act and a pleasure to work with.

Even though we are neighbours this was my first shoot with Helen,it was arranged at very short notice after a cancellation and for that I owe her thanks.If you photograph for fun I cannot recommend Helen highly enough she is a absolute bundle of joy,mad as a hatter in the nicest possible way with a endless supply of amusing chatter,but at the same time delivering great poses time after time with little direction.Helen,thank you so much I had a wonderful day.P.S. Helen is one of the hardest working models I know. If you are not pushing her to her limit and providing music and green tea you are not going to get the best from this fantastic young lady. Helen responded to a last-minute casting call I had put out for a shoot for a magazine article to appear in PhotoPlus and NPhoto magazines. She's a real pro, both in terms of her ease and poise in front of the camera, and her work behind the scenes with makeup and clothing. Shooting on a windswept beach wrapped in a 10-metre piece of red floaty material, she performed brilliantly, and we got what we needed for the article plus much more besides. She's also a great character and kept me entertained on the 2 hour drive to and from the beach - just don't ask about her bucket list :)

Helen is a truly unique lady, a great sense of humour with a wonderful spirit to her.

Helen is a very deep and profound lady and we had some interesting conversations throughout our fab shoot.

Helen's a true professional, great communication beforehand and needs no direction at all.

What more can I say about Helen that hasn't already been said? She's beautiful, a fantastic model and person in general.

She's fun, easy to work with, can take direction and has an almost endless range of poses that she can turn to in an instant.
