Ghost Light Photography

I could not resist the chance of a second duo shoot with Helen Diaz and Emma Willis. Both ladies were great help as I had to rearrange to the very end of their extended weekend. This time the venue was Helen's home which boasts a great range of rooms to suit just about every shooting requirement. The light was more challenging than on my previous visits and so we used some continuous lights Helen had available.

Helen and Emma make such a great team and their friendship means that there is none of the awkwardness that can occur if the models do not have a previous relationship. We shot a great variety of sets, most duo and some solo. Both ladies were happy to experiment with ideas and far, far too much fun was had.

If you ever have the chance to work with this marvellous pair, don't hesitate.

I had my first ever shoot with the completely mad Helen Dias, she is such a fun lady and professional at the same time, had such a fun shoot even though she tried to knock me out with a hula hoop. I can't recommended her enough can't wait to shoot with her again hopefully in November. We got so many lovely images as she done a great duo with the also lovely Emma Willis, thanks for a such a lovely shoot ladies. Hopefully shoot with both of you again in the future.

I have worked with Helen many times and every time is as fresh as the first. This time was part of a Duo shoot with Emma Willis. Helen is great fun to work with but is very serious and professional about her modelling. She has great classic poses and brings beauty and style to the shots, working well with Emma and showing great interaction. Helen is able to bring her ideas to the shoot and is also able to take on board off-the-wall ideas for that unusual shot. I highly recommend Helen and I am already planning our next shoot.

I had a fabulous first shoot with the wonderful Helen who is a pleasure to work with, easy going, lots of fun, easy to get along with. The shoot took place at her home, which provides ample space and variety or rooms with plenty of possibilities. Helen has a extensive collection or outfits and applied her make up to a high standard. As an experienced model Helen is great at modeling with or without direction and always produces excellent results. I can highly recommend working with Helen.

This is not the first time I have shot with Helen, the trouble for me is that living the opposite end of the UK means I cannot shoot enough with her! Helen is a delightful person I consider her friend as well as a great model.

She is a consummate Art Nude model and her body confidence and ease with the medium really puts the photographer at ease too. Outside of art nude she has some gorgeous outfits and she put them to great use, her make up is spot on and she makes some difficult poses look effortless.

She is very expressive sometimes going from severe and formal to relaxed and outright wacky in the space of 2 seconds!

Helen can pose herself or take direction but the best way to work with her is to engage,discuss chat and experiment, she loves a challenge!She is also prepared to try again and again to get the right shot, share your work and she will respond to make it better.

I doubt I will ever tire of working with Helen, every shoot is a delight and worth every minute.

Naturally looking forward to the next time .

On arrival at her home I was immediately offered some refreshments. Although only back from America that morning she was in great form looking forward to the shoot.

Shot using some lovely outfits from her large range. A very bubbly model who can change to a serious professional once in front of the camera.

This was my second shoot with Helen, at a location near to her home that she suggested. It was very atmospheric and authentic and we got some great shots there.

Helen is very experienced, very friendly, and lovely to be around. She put all of my ideas into practice with energy and enthusiasm and nothing was too much trouble. Working with her is a pleasure both as a model and as a person, and I'm sure we will work together again soon.

After several attempts at trying to organising a shoot with Helen, we finally managed to work out a date which we both could do and work together on. Helen managed to navigate around the morning rush hour traffic to reach my place and from there our shoot began.

To say the shoot went smoothly would be wrong. The first location we were going to shoot at was closed for unknown reasons, the second location was slightly ruined by the rain we had the day before. Thankful third time was the charm and we managed to shoot at the third location and get some really splendid images from there. The home shoot went smoothly as well and all and all we managed to create some fantastic images.

In fact we were so busy shoot, we pretty much forgot to drink and by the end of the day we were both very dehydrated.

All and all I had a wonderful time with Helen and looking forward to working with her again in the near future.

Note: Spicy dumplings don't agree with Helen :)

Had a lovely shoot today with Helen while she was on tour.

Great attitude, fun to work with and a huge case of clothing!

The weather saw us having to change our plans but Helen took it all in her stride and was brilliant.

Thank you, Helen :) It was a really amazing experience, working with you, had a totally brilliant time, wish all shoot's were like today!!

This was my first time shooting with Helen, we went on Location, to an old ruined church, for some good old outdoor portrait's, and art nude. The dress Helen chose to wear, was very striking, it went perfectly with her complexion, and the surroundings. We finished the shoot with some more indoor portraits, at her home.

I really loved working with her, Helen's strikingly beautiful, and manages to pull the most amazing poses, while at the same time, making you laugh, with her brilliant sense humour, yes so I would without doubt, Highly Recommend Helen!! :)

Ghost Light Photography

Shooting with Helen is just such fun. It must be as I keep coming back for more of this crazy lady. This time we included a road trip to some ruins complete with a treacherous hike up a near vertical path. You would think this would put most people off visiting so thank god the scout troop arrived before we got started!! I don't think we scared them too much and we were quickly able to get shooting inside as they had a snack outside.

Then we returned to her home for the second phase of our shoot, trying some new things and bouncing ideas between us to create some great images. This exceptional lady has a fantastic energy and keeps going as long as the camera keeps clicking away.

Thanks for another terrific shoot and I look forward to our next adventure.

It has been a long time coming, but I finally got my chance to work with Helen.

Wow just wow, i'm sure it's been said so many times but this lady is a superstar in every sense of the word.

A totally amazing model, a joy to work with & such a wonderful person to be around (& so very funny too!)

Another lovely shoot with the beautiful Helen Diaz today. I always try and take advantage of her forays into deepest Essex and I've never been disappointed!

I pushed Helen outside her comfort zone this time with some decidedly non-serious ideas and some outdoor locations and Helen rose to the challenge with aplomb and we got some lovely shots.

It's always such a pleasure chatting with her over a cup of green tea, or a hot chocolate ;) and she is truly a lovely lady.

Professional, loads of outfits despite being on the road, lovely posing, etc. etc. Everything you would expect from a top class model really. Highly recommended.

Had another brill shoot with the super fab Helen last month and all I can say is 'wow' again !!! - as I really can't think of enough positive ways to describe the phenomenon that is Ms Diaz, but here goes :)

Such a joy to work with, Helen is a truly great model gifted with beautiful looks and a figure to match plus the ability to apply those qualities via subtle facial expressions and some serious shape throwing in the posing department to achieve the shots your looking for.

Immense fun, yet totally professional Helen is also a lovely person who is extremely hardworking and committed and just so happens to be expertly skilled at hair and make up too, enabling her to effortlessly conjure up a variety of different looks across a multitude of differing modelling genres.

Just remains to say, I would totally have no doubt in recommending Helen to all photographers 100% and would hope to shoot with her again in the not too distant future.
