I was lucky enough to be able to work with Helen and Pippa Doll on her recent Iceland trip. It was such an incredible place to work - with jaw-dropping backgrounds and two phenomenal models as well as a "surprise" guest model on one of the days. Thanks Helen, Pippa and also Roger (who did all of the driving and cooking for the entire trip) for a memorable trip and some amazing photos!

I am just back from a six-day photographic trip to Iceland arranged by the lovely Helen and her husband, Roger, and what a fantastic experience it was!

The Models were Helen and Pippa doll, and in a group of 5 photographers, with Roger taking care of the driving, we shot against a background of stunning waterfalls, hot springs, moss-covered lava rocks, glaciers, and volcanic beaches. To be honest, it would be hard not to get amazing shots with this combination of models and locations.

The cherry on the top was seeing the Northern Lights three nights in a row!

Superbly organised, with plenty of time for landscape photography too, I highly recommend booking on any future Iceland trips they organise.

I worked with Helen on her latest Iceland trip, which she organized along with her partner Roger123456, Pippa Doll and 4 other photographers. It was a great experience and Helen showed amazing resilience to the ice cold weather, modeling in sub zero temperatures in front of waterfalls, icebergs and clambering over random lava boulder strewn locations. Art nude aesthetic poses and showy designer dresses were the order of the day and she gave us all a fabulous opportunity to create some awesome images amongst the amazing Icelandic scenery. She also arranged some lovely surprises for us, including a day with the beautiful Icelandic model Johannsdottir and a shoot with some Icelandic horses!

Helen is also a totally wonderfully mad person to be around and kept us entertained on many occassions. Generous to a fault, with a warm heart and charming personality (except when you throw her dinner away :) )

Thank you Helen for a great experience. I'll be editing images for many months to come. Hope to work with you again sometime soon.

I was delighted to be able to go on a 6 day trip to Iceland in October this Year. Helen was both organiser and model and along with Roger (Roger123456) she delivered an amazing trip for 5 photographers and the guest model (Pippa Doll) shooting in a range of locations. The organisation for the trip and the shoots was impeccable, everything was prearranged, including a surprise day when Helen had organised an Icelandic model, Svala (Johannsdottir), to join us for the day. Also, Helen had organised dresses from 2 designers (Sindy Bloom and Celestial Diamond Couture) to be available to the models. The trips out to the various locations were well organised; to waterfalls, larva fields, beaches, ice-lagoons and hot springs. The day were packed with activity and we had done so much it felt like we had been in Iceland for weeks not days. In addition to the excellent organisation Helen modelled for the photographers bringing her great skills and poses into an amazing landscape and backdrop of ice, rock and water to create amazing pictures. I cannot praise Helen enough for all the hard work she put into the trip and making it an amazing success.

Helen took me on board as part of the crew for her Icelandic Tour and I was very grateful to be one of the designers chosen. One of my dreams as a designer was to do a photoshoot in the stunning landscapes of Iceland so this was a great chance! I designed and made 3 outfits specially for the occasion. One red organza ball gown dress, a elven wedding dress and a black and blue fantasy tulle skirt and top. I posted everything to Helen and she took great care of the garments through the whole trip, in fact they were returned to me in great condition, even after having been used in all kinds of surfaces outdoors.

I couldn´t be more happy with the results of this photoshoot, the 6 photographers on board did an amazing job and gave birth to a great collection of shots. Helen was amazing all through the 2-3 weeks that she had the outfits with her, her comunication was excellent and listened to my ideas and was always happy to help.

On the other hand, she is an amazing model, not afraid to shoot in the freezing cold temperatures of Iceland, always looking relaxed and comfortable no matter the circumstances. Her facial expressions are always spot on. I personally loved the variety of poses and the way she made the dresses flow in the wind. She looked like some kind of mythological goddess.

Thank you so much for everything Helen, I´d definitely recommend her and would love to work with her again.

I recently went on another of Helen's trips to Iceland. After the success of the first one and the earlier one we organised together, it had much to live up to.

This time we were staying in a beautiful villa in Reykjavik, so it was a slightly different dynamic, than the previous trips, which were more in the wilds. The villa was perfect for the group, allowing a more homely feel and a sense of luxury. It also allowed us to explore the area closer to the capital, while still having some accessibility to the spectacular Jokulsarlon.

Helen produced an itinerary for two of the shoot days, but the third was left as a "surprise". This turned out to be a day with a third, local model and a visit at dinner by a local photographer. The locations were also pretty special.

It was certainly a trip to remember and I can recommend future trips as well as working with Helen more generally.

This is my first time working with Helen and I am absolutely delighted I got the chance to work with her on her recent trip to Iceland. She had asked for two new designs as part of a collaboration, and immediately she told me what she was after and I was happy to oblige.

Helen's communications both before the shoot, during the making process and after has been absolutely stellar. There isn't much else to say that hasn't already been said. Helen is a true gem of a model, and I can't praise her or recommend her highly enough. I would love to work with her again sometime. :)

Well what can you say about Helen that has not been said many times before? She is superb to work with. Fun, witty and smart, Helen is full of ideas and has an amazingly extensive wardrobe. So experienced, needs little direction but happy to work with you to get those subtle differences that make so much difference. Had a terrific shoot and we didn’t get to use Helen’s new home studio so it means I will have to come back for a second shoot. Trust me - that is not a hardship. Thank you Helen and I am very much looking forward to working with you again.

Today was our third shoot and this time she strong armed her partner into joining her in a duo - their first shoot together.

Helen arrived with stunning evening wear which soon evaporated under the eager hands of her dinner jacket clad partner to reveal a beautiful physique and the whitest of white skin.

The final arbiter in determining the success of a shoot are the images - the result of the coalescing of the creativity, skills and energy of model and photographer. Todays images are really good.

This lady exudes grace and beauty, an ice queen of the highest order, pure class !

A super session with Helen today exploring natural light portraits, vintage dress and ancient music in an indoor setting. Helen was very patient as I worked my way through assorted combinations of equipment to create some lovely images and we chatted through an assortment of topics.

We have always had fun on our shoots together and I love her to bits. Thoroughly recommended.

I had another wonderful shoot with Helen last weekend at Sandon Studios during her tour. We'd shot together here a few months back so we made sure to not repeat ourselves and worked on some cool new ideas which has produced some really different outcomes from our first shoot.

Other than that we had a great time. As usual Helen was absolutely lovely to work with - funny, kind and very easy to get on with - and four hours just flew by.

Helen is highly recommended by me and would love to work with her again next time our locational paths cross.

I've been trying to set up a shoot with Helen for ages, but dates have never worked out. Luckily we managed to grab couple of hours whilst Helen was on tour at Sandon Studios.

I can't believe how quickly the time went- great posing, good conversation, super creative, a really enjoyable and pleasant shoot. I've just finished developing the 35mm films and there are some really good images, can't wait to process the rest and post them.

Thoroughly recommend Helen, and hopefully will get the opportunity to shoot again in the near future!

I had a wonderful shoot with Helen yesterday at Sandon Studio. Helen has a great bubbly personality making her a very easy person to get along with. Building up a re pore with this model is no problem at all :-) As a model she is utterly superb, a complete natural in front of the camera. We have created so many fabulous shots in our four hour shoot, deciding which to choose is not easy :-)

My first shoot with Helen but I doubt it will be my last. She's friendly and bubbly but an absolute professional, moving fluidly and elegantly from one pose to the next. She was also completely at home with my odd ideas and we got some wonderful images. Definitely recommended!

Shooting back at Pozers with Helen, theme for the day, Catwoman. Attempting to recreate a little of the character, from Batman Returns and some of the comic book/ series. And what an attempt, Helen embraced the whole idea with wonderful enthusiasm, as professional as ever, purrrrrfect as the character and looking incredible in costume. With Alleys lighting, we have been able to create everything I could have hoped for. To be able to shoot with Helen is an absolute blast and a rare pleasure. Always professional, always polite and of course always beautiful. Helen, thank you for a wonderful, fun shoot.

In the shadows

My second shoot with Helen, was at new home studio, all went well in this small but big enough to crenate good images with good lights, smoke machine and modifiers.

With 1248 references need I say any more, must say she is the most experienced model I have ever worked with.
