I have been interested in model photography for a long time. In 1992 I obtained the City and Guilds of London Institute qualifications in basic photography and portraiture. I re-visited the studio in 2010 to undertake a personal project, images of women in a medieval "fantasy" style, set in an alternate universe. I set the model in a story context rather than a more "standard" pose, and liked a natural look to suit the theme. Little or no makeup usually preferred.

I am broadening my horizons, looking at  "Horror", "Modern" and "Sci Fi" themes, as well as the occasional video. I am mindful that some models are very keen to only shoot the style shown in their portfolio. If I ask for "little or no makeup" or ask for anything you are not happy with please let me know. I am flexible and can usually take into account a models preferences without any issues!

Keranda Studio (kev@keranda), where the majority of my shoots have taken place, is a reliable and creative venue. I also like to shoot at a model’s home when that better fits the idea I am working on.

This is a hobby for me, something to do with my spare time, and I do not intend to publish any images.
