Another fantastic shoot with James last weekend at RawPics Studio, its been several years since our last shoot and what a fab shoot it was, pre communication is spot on, providing me a list of ideas and suggestions of what to bring along. On the Day James was full of ideas

We got through lots of different sets and changes, and the lighting was awesome. I always look forward to shooting with James as i know im going to be trying something different, he even had me swinging from the ceiling 😅. I'm really looking forward to seeing the pics.

I had a super lovely shoot with James yesterday afternoon at a little spot I know in North Wiltshire, a beautiful nature reserve.

James met me in the carpark on time and we pottered off around the reserve, shooting various different styles from Fashion, portraits, art nude and then at the end we shot some darker images using my feathered cape and darker eye make-up.

James is lovely person to work with, we chatted throughout the shoot, it was very relaxed and yet very productive. Plus the weather was kind to us, only a few spots of rain!

James was kind enough to give me a lift back home too, which was a great help.

Overall a excellent shoot, great images and great company.

Me and James have worked together a few times, and i was over the moon to know he has booked to shoot with me for a couple of hours in WEymouth at ArtAsylum Reloaded. I really like his style of images and how he works. We usually have an idea of what well be doing but on the day is when the ideas flow and it really comes to life!

He used natural light for the first set, which he is a pro at! We used water droplets to wet my hair and to also givbe a wet t-shirt look to bring more texture into the shot.

It was nice to catch up with James so conversation was as easy as ever, I loved the back of camera shots and it also helps me when a photograoher offers to show me BoC shots cos it helps me know how i can pose better\use the space more to my advantage.

We then did a pvc type set in the other part of the studio, and he was clever with lighting giving me a spotlight to work with, i just love watching him behind the camera!

Thanks James, hope it isnt the last!

I got to catch up with James on my recent studio weekend at Inspire! We’ve worked together a few times in the past but it has been a while since our last shoot due to covid and me not touring, so it was really nice working together again :)

James is a lovely guy and great company. From what I saw on the back of his camera we got one beautiful images too! My personal faves were the 70s penthouse vibed set on the peacock chair 😍

Happily recommend James to others and hopefully we don’t leave it as long next time!

James came along to a recent studio day here with M E LAN Y.

His pre shoot comms were perfect and on arrival to the studio he presented me me with his various mood boards, showing me the style of lighting he want to achieve. As a studio owner and lighting assistant this is great preparation.

James was very polite and courteous with Melany the model. James really does have a creative streak, that shows in the images he captured.

It is with no hesitation, that I can recommend James 100%

I was so pleased that James booked a slot on my latest studio day at Rawpics - we have shot together before and had a really fun, production and creative shoot and I love James' style of photography so it was great to see him again.

In 2 hours we covered many and varied looks with different backgrounds and lighting set ups. I love working with James because he knows exactly what he's after so when he's got the shots he wants we move on to another set. He is also great at letting me do my thing but also throwing in some direction or share ideas to adapt the concept.

We definitely both appreciate the same aspects of photography and creating artistic images, so I really hope to be working with James again soon AND can't wait to see what we created today.

It was lovely to work with James again at the Heavenly Bodies Studio.

James was very well prepared with lots of ideas, he also bring few great props with him. He is very creative and pay attention to the detail. We have managed to create few different looks and got some realy Beautiful results.

James is also very friendly and made me feel comfortable during the shoot.

I’m so glad to have finally got the chance to work with James. I approached him to work together after admiring his work for some time.

From the beginning, pre-comms were brilliant and James very kindly took the time to give me options of potential places we could work, sharing example images to give me an idea of what we may be able to do there. We settled on The Millhouse Studio and James arranged everything for our shoot.

Working with James was an absolute pleasure, he had brought lots of items of clothing and jewellery to use and we collaborated ideas on how we wanted to use the light and space available.

James is wonderfully creative and put 110% into each set we shot. We even shot a set using a fire grate!

I had an absolutely fabulous time working with James, a talented photographer and lovely person. I recommend him highly to all.

James booked 3 hours of my studio day at Fareham studio.

Having worked with James once before and throughly enjoying it - I was really looking forward to our shoot together, and shooting something different altogether this time!

Where do I start?!

James' initial comms were excellent and he sent me some images to give me an idea of the kind of thing he was looking for.

We took those ideas, roughly used them and then went off on a creative adventure around the different sets, each one lit to perfection.

Did James sit around and just click a button at me? Did he hell! He was laying on the floor, balanced on precarious ladders - anything he needed to do to get that magic angle!

All the while being a total gentleman, mindful of my needs and taking images that I describe as "stonking!"

Im really excited to see the finished edits, I only hope there won't be as big a wait until our next shoot!

Recommended until the cows come home!

It was my second time working with James. In a small period of time as well but both shoots where so different. First one was all on location and this time he came to my studio day at Mr Daves studio Sowton studio. We shot in the lovely gardens and also in the shower. It was so much fun just like the first time. I would recommend working with him and look forward to working with him again myself in the future.

Great shoot with James at the Purton Hulks, absolutely beautiful location in nature.

James is very respectful and gentle. We worked at a good pace and took the time to transition between sets and fully explore different parts of the location. James actually gave me a ride to and from the location and I felt safe in the car. We had wanted to work together for a couple of years and overall it worked out very well. Recommended!

It was my first time working with James. I was on tour in Gloucester but agreed to meet up in Castle cary which was a bit of a distance from Gloucester but i didn't mind at all. We shot at a lovely woodland location. It was a but rainy that day but James didn't mind and neither did I. We definitely managed to get some great images. We where shooting fashion and art nude. It was a really fun shoot, I would definitely recommend James to anyone and hope we get to work together again soon. Thanks a lot for a great shoot.

Please excuse the very belated reference (due to post wedding bliss! :) ) for the amazing James! I worked with James at my home studio and had such a lovely few hours!

James is so incredibly creative, fun and professional to work with! Its like shooting with an old friend and I really look forward to every upcoming shoot.

This time around James suggested using the gels and some super cool props (one of our long black latex cloaks and sky high heels!) and we hit a few FPIS in the process! The results were AWESOME and the gels really complimented the super cool sci-fi styling! I absolutely LOVED the results and hope we work together again soon! Highly recommended to all, thankyou for a wonderful shoot! Helen x
