This was my second time working with Erica and first time 1-2-1 and I have to say WOW! right from the communications and get go Erica is so professional and intuitively amazing to work with. We captured loads of stunning fashion ideas and portrait images as we walked around Huddersfield. The conversation just flowed all the way through the shoot and I just wish we had more time to sit and chat and laff at things.

I just know we will be shooting more images before too long and YES!!! I would fully recommend working with Erica an absolute credit to the profession.

I had my third shoot with Erica today and she never fails to impress. Pre comms was excellent as always. I sent her a photo of an idea I was thinking of and let her run with it, Erica came well prepared and the three outfits we chose worked amazingly. When we arrived at the location it was very busy but Erica the professional she is got to work and we got some amazing shots.

It's always a pleasure to work with you and I look forward to working with you soon. I would highly recommend Erica to any photographer 🙂

A few days ago I attended a Dance event organised by Tabitha Boydell at the Guildhall in Worcester. Having little knowledge of all things related to ballet this was well outside of my comfort zone! A highlight of my day was the time spent with the dancing duo of Erica and Hamish Scott. They worked through a series of moves and poses ( I was hardly in a position to direct them!) and I have emerged with some beautiful images. Apart from her considerable balletic skills I found Erica to be very helpful and friendly and, if the opportunity arose to work with her again, I would certainly love to do so. Highly recommended of course.😀

Erica is a marvel to behold on dry land and it turns out she is also amazing in water! We shot at Tank Space yesterday and Erica was well prepared, superbly organised for getting the most out of the watery environment and contributed lots of creative ideas into the 2 hours we had. It really isn't easy to pose in water but Erica made it look so and her dance abilities really enhanced the range of gorgeous poses she created during the session. I can't recommend Erica highly enough :-)Thanks Erica - hope to see you again soon.

I have wanted to shoot with Erica for a while now, after seeing so many good photographs of her, and I do love ballet shoots. The most enjoyable shoot I have had for a long time. Erica is such a good dancer and has spent time learning how to pose, and her poses were excellent and free-flowing. Her outfits were stunning and she looked fabulous. On top of that she is a lovely person and the conversation flowed throughout the shoot. Highly recommended and I would certainly love to work with her again.

Another fantastic visit by Erica for 3 days of studio days. Erica is such a lovely person and super professional when it comes to the organisation of the days and working with each and every photographer. Such a graceful dancer and posing so freely you can't fail to get a fabulous selection of shots.

Absolutely love having Erica at the studio as she's great fun to be around too. Look forward to her next visit.

A total professional, Erica is charming and talented, and a total delight to work with. She has great emotion in her dance routines and so easy to chat and capture.

I had a brilliant shoot with Erica at Inspire studio yesterday. She is a highly trained ballerina and every movement she makes is graceful with natural poise. She is easy to work with, picks up ideas quickly and has plenty of her own to add to make a wonderful session. Erica is very bright and creative with a team of her own and brings this vitality to her shoots. A wonderful lady to work with.

I worked with Erica at a ballet event orgainzed by Tabitha Boydell. It was a great event with many great dancers. One of those great dancers was Erica. She was marvellous to work with and I love the results. I will work again with her some day.

I highly recommend her to all of you photographers out there.

I had the enormous pleaure of working with Erica for a wonderful (but all too short) couple of hours at her recent studio day at Inspire. I can honestly say that Erica is a class act. She is the most friendly and approachable person you could hope to meet. Right from the start we hit it off. She loves animals (and I mean LOVES) and so we spent time talking about dogs and cats in between playing with Siaran's new puppy and drinking tea.

Once we started in earnest I was bowled over by the wonderful costumes that she had brought with her and her attention to detail in the poses she put together. The shoot simply flew by, as it always does when you're having fun. Sadly, although I had originally booked for 4 hours, I had had to reduce to 2 hours due to other commitments, and so my loss was definitely another photographer's gain.

Upshot is that I will be looking for another opportunity to cover the ground that I missed this time.

Erica has such a wide range of skills in the dance world, in addition to her modelling, and she deserves every success in her other artistic endeavours. I was simply bowled over by her down-to-earth no-nonsense Yorkshire wit and her industrial strength commitment to creating beautiful images.

I can't wait to work with her again and I would recommend her unreservedly.

Erica is a true professional and a genuinely nice lady. She has poses by the bag load, she knows exactly how to work with the light and flows from one incredible pose to another. Nothing was too much effort. Such elegance, grace and a great personality. Hope to work with Erica again in the future.

What a pleasure to spend 2 days with Erica! The first at the excellent Silkwood Studio where we made some stunning images with various ballet dresses and leotards enhanced with the help of Karen and 2 volunteers she had organised who wafted fabrics into the images and threw sparkly butterflies and streamers. Erica was brilliantly organised and her poses and jumps were, as ever, of the highest quality. It's a rare treat to work with someone who is a top drawer dancer, model and performer all rolled into one! :-)

The next day was a group shoot organised by Tabitha Boydell at Rivington. Very different, being outdoors in quite strong and contrasty light and featuring a parachute dress. Erica performed beautifully in every set that we shot and I have some memorable images from both days.

Further shoots are planned and I really cannot recommend Erica highly enough - she's in a class of her own :-)

Keep it Classy

this was the second time I've had the pleasure of working with Erica. only this time if was for a photography club I organise studio nights for. Again Erica's communicates were brilliant. Although the clubs members can test the best of us Erica coped with them extremely well. every one of them have asked me to bring Erica back which I will gladly do. I would have loved to have had some time to shoot with Erica. but the members on this occasion came first

I highly recommend Erica to any photographer or studio an look forward to shooting with her again

I had the 2nd opportunity to work with Erica.This time was her dance event that was hosted in the PGD studio.

There is no words to discribe how well organised the event was and I was very happy to be part of that superb art workshop/event.

I hope that I will have another chance to work with Erica soon in the nearest future.

Today I had the opportunity to work with Ballerina Erica Mulkern for the first time.

I attended her Ballet photoshoot at PGD photography in Leicester, I would have to say this was one of the best events I have attended.

The shoot was very professionally managed both during and prior to the event, the scope was well defined and well communicated.

On the day of the event both the models and studio support were excellent, working through three themes and 9 sets with ease.

Erica is a highly talented lady having key inputs into the themes as well as modelling professionally.

A highly sociable host, she ensured all participants had the opportunity to obtain high quality images.

This young lady comes highly recommended and I would advise any photographer to take the opportunity to work with this talented lady.

This was a session at Erica’s duo dance event at the PGD studios in Leicester where I was able to join for a morning session.  The pre- shoot communications were excellent giving details of the various sets that would be used during the photo shoot. In the morning session I was able to work with three different sets with Erica and Jarrod who is a dancer with the Rambert in London.  The organisation was perfect with each photographer given two short individual slots per short session allowing plenty of scope to get the perfect picture. There were opportunities to capture pictures of the individual dancers and then with them together as a duo. Erica is a first-rate ballet dancer and can give classic and contemporary dance moves.  I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the photo shoot, it was very well organised, and I would certainly recommend these duo days to any photographer. I look forward to future shoots with Erica and recommend her most highly.

It was a pleasure to attend Erica's dance photography workshop at PGD Studios in Leicester. This is the fourth time I have photographed Erica, and as always we had a very enjoyable and creative photoshoot.

Communications prior to the event were excellent and, as always, everything was extremely well-organised and professionally run. Erica was joined by dancer Jarrod McWilliams and we worked through several set-ups with the dancers posing individually and as a pair, covering both classical ballet and contemporary dance (and also a Peaky Blinders-inspired fashion/portrait set).

There was a great atmosphere throughout the photoshoot and everything was well-communicated and co-ordinated throughout the event. I was delighted with the variety and quality of the images that I obtained, and look forward to working with Erica once again later in the summer.
