Sunday 5th May was the day I could just "Breathe" and know that our Welshot delegates were in superb, capable hands of a pure professional in their craft.

You are not just a model, you are not just a dancer, you are a teacher, a supporter and a sharer of your skills and knowledge and you share willingly without exception.

I watched you as you helped our delegates to make the perfect images that they could see in their minds-eye and your patience and understanding of their needs is second to none.

Even when it was repetitive and at times, hard work - you persevered and worked hard to enable the photographers to learn all they could in the time given.

Great shoot around Huddersfield organised by Visionary Photographic Events. 4 hours of grunge and high fashion, with a special May 4th item thrown in for good measure.

Erica provided some great shapes and facial expressions to keep me and my fellow photographers for 4 hours.

It's good fun shooting with Erica, look forwards to doing it again soon.

Again, I had the pleasure of working with Ballerina Erica Mulkern this time at tankspace along with the lovely Halo Haynes. My original date had to be changed but both Erica and Halo pulled out all the stops, so I didn’t miss out. Pre shoot comms were perfect (organised, prompt, and informative). Erica was all set up and organised on my arrival for my chosen timeslot. The styling of the shoot was planned to fit both styles perfectly.

Erica is genuinely such a lovely chilled and easy going person with so much talent, creativeness, and passion about her craft. It was such a chilled and relaxed shoot as it always is and throughout the shoot Erica was full of positive energy putting 110% effort into every shot, Erica not only poses gracefully and effortlessly out of the water but she is a real natural below the water also, resulting in images with a definite Wow factor.

If you are lucky enough to work with this fantastic young lady, then you’re in for an amazing shoot. Totally recommended.

This will be my 3rd work with very talented artist, dancer, model, performer Erica.

I decided to attend a short underwater shoot with Erica and Halo at Tankspace and Tankspace was on my "to do list".

It was fantastic opportunity for me to expand my experiance as photographer and I knew already that Erica is top class person with her oganisation skills plus her attention to details and time frame is superb.

I had fantastic time :)

I was pleased to attend a short shoot with Erica and Halo at Tankspace as Erica is one of my favourite 5 models and Tankspace has been on my “want to try” list for ages.

As always pre-shoot comms with Erica were first class as was her posing and professionalism on the day. Erica is grace personified and this always comes through in images. This was our third shoot this year and the fact that we already have another three in the diary means that I continue to recommend Erica to anybody who wants classy images in their portfolio.

In Search of That Perfect Shot..............

Attended the Tankspace for an event organised by Erica, a duo set with Halo. What a day, these ladies worked tirelessly to achieve some excellent results. I have shot with Erica lots of times now, but only met Halo today. The staff at Tankspace also went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable in the surroundings and advising on camera settings and explaining how the lighting works in the tank environment. Thanks everyone for a lovely shoot, I am now ‘hooked’. Best wishes Jann

Halo Haynes

I recently did the first of two model days, underwater with Erica. I’m probably not going to be able to add much to the mountain of glowing praise for her work, but I would like to affirm that it’s all extremely true, both on land and underwater. Erica is graceful in movement, dedicated and wonderful. She’s a fabulous person to work with, has amazing endurance and it’s almost impossible to take a bad photo of her.

The whole day felt like a breeze with her careful pre planning and the amount of fun we had - and that’s saying something as several hours underwater isn’t the easiest thing!

11/10 - can’t wait for the next one!

Erica and I have shot together many times now and it is always an absolute joy :-) I always marvel at her technique, artistry and sheer stamina as we work through many lovely static and dynamic positions.

Communications with Erica are always spot on and she is very well prepared for each shoot. She is a joyful and positive presence in the studio and yesterday we created some gorgeous new images, including some goth-styled images.

I’m not used to working with models and felt I was struggling with my camera in the certain light conditions. I am past counting how many times I have shot with Erica but it’s a few and there will be at least 2, if not 3 more this year. Preshoot comms were limited on this one as Erica had been engaged by Tabitha Boydell. What we had was of the usual high standard and the same goes for the shoot itself.

As I have said before Erica is a consummate professional and if you treat her with the respect she deserves you will get some fabulous images.
