She matures like a fine wine, and just gets better every shoot – and there’ve been a few! She’s a true professional, friendly and relaxed, and a great person to work with! Most lately at MAP in Loughborough on a Sixties themed shout with Amie Bouton and Mr Crook; excellent event!

I can’t recommend her more highly!

Worked with Carla once before in Manchester. Too many years ago.

Attended her arranged 1960's themed fashion shoot at Map Studios in Loughborough on Saturday. A well organised event with the accurate and non invasive timekeeping and management skills of her husband Adrian. For me it was for me a great success.

(Happy Anniversary by the way on Monday. Nice romantic dinner location and good wine expected!)

Carla is one of the top 5 U.K. Models and I can't think of anything constructive to say that has not already been said about her except that: Her many of her images appear regularly on "Gurushots.com" and appear to command a stunning number of votes!

As a model, she is one off and as an organiser of local events cannot be faulted.

Always something to learn when working with Carla!

Would love her to arrange a 'Shooting Holiday' in somewhere different from sun, sand and villas currently available in somewhere like Iceland. - Stunning locations - unpredictable weather, maybe very strong winds!!!!

If you haven't worked Carla before, arrange something SOONEST.

Carla is a great person to work with and her images are popular on many Photo Libraries.

Shadows and LIght

Had a wonderful tuition shoot with Carla and Adrian today. Both were very patient and helpful and I felt that I learned a tremendous amount. It’s often been said that it’s impossible to take a bad picture of Carla and despite my best efforts even I failed! I’m so pleased with the results I got and would love to work with Carla again soon.

As ever, professional, patient, meticulous in preparation and appearance, fun, friendly and a whole load of other adjectives that have all been said before.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Carla for the first time recently as part of Artemis Fauna’s Secret Garden evening shoot event. Carla is a fabulous model to work with - very beautiful, graceful and elegant, the perfect figure for classic art nude work, but also extremely versatile in other style and I love the images we created together. Very strongly recommended and I hope it’s not too long before we shoot again. Thank you Carla (and Artemis) for a truly memorable event :)

An Eye for Beauty

My third shoot with Carla in as many months and the 13th in total. We planned two themes: bluebells and Brigitte Bardot. The weather conditions were ideal - a cloudy-bright sky with just a little fill-flash to add a bit of sparkle. The bluebells in the local woods were perhaps past their best, but - hey - who would be looking at bluebells when the lovely Carla was centre stage. We went for soft 'David Bailey' type images with great results. Then a switch to the pouting BB, and another lovely collection. For the moment I don't have any more shoots booked with Carla but I am sure that will soon change. She is a delight to work with and I enjoy every moment of our shoot times.

It's a long time since Carla was at my studio and I last had a shoot with her. She's just been back for her sold out studio day and I couldn't resist shooting with her too. Carla's reputation is such that there's no real need to say anything new. She is an awesome model who knows exactly what she is doing - even if the photographer doesn't :) Very professional and yet brilliant fun and works her socks off constantly throughout the entire shoot. Definitely one of the best and I hope it won't be too long before Carla returns once again.

I had a 1:1 with both Adrian and Carla last month and it was truly inspiring. They are also the nicest people you are ever likely to meet and as well as coming away with the most amazing images, it has given me a new found confidence which I will now take with me to future shoots.

Carla is so good at putting you at ease and even though she is one of the best in the business, she listens to what you want and is full of encouragement when reviewing the images between sets. They are a formidable team and Adrian encourages you to stop and think about what you like best and gets you to discuss with Carla to get the best out of a Shoot.

I thought that I would just be going to get some help with studio lighting and come away with a few good shots but I came away with a lot more than that.

I cannot thank them enough.. I have been doing landscapes and travel photography for years but wanted some guidance with model shoots in a studio environment. I came away from the day so buzzed up after working with two fantastic people and I am still buzzing now..

I sent them a mood board and explained that I wanted to come away with some sensual moody black and white images. I shot in RAW and did the black and white conversions and hope that I did them some justice post production.

Its very strange how time disappears and slips thru ones fingers with such ease. With that in mind, i had the utterly extraordinary opportunity of being able to shoot the legendary Carla Monaco at a studio shoot at Mick Paytons Studio run by Stefano Brunesci for the day. This lady quite rightly deserves all her accolades and positive references on PP. Carla has an air of utter professionalism yet totally down to earth and real. This totally gorgeous lady is smart, intelligent, funny, effervescent and a total joy to work with. Carla brought with her a sense of enigmatic style, panache, smoothness, like gliding on sweet icing. The shoot was a terrific success and Carla was utterly beautiful in every shot. Carla makes sure that the tog got the best light, the best look, the right angle and ensure that no matter what the level of experience held by the tog, Carla gave her best regardless. This lady is quite rightly in high demand and totally deserves such praise. Carla does not disappoint and lives up to the legend. Totally recommended. Until the next time...Thank you Carla.

Well what would i be able to say about a model who has that many references, I met Carla on a Stefano Brunesci workshop, and from start to finish i was just amazed at her professionalism, the images that i have of Carla are just exactly what i thought i would get, absolutely fantastic and would be a credit to any magazine out there, they were that good, yes i would love to shoot with Carla again and hope to do so in the near future, if you haven't booked Carla before then go and book her i can guarantee you will be in Awe.

Had a most enjoyable shoot with Carla at the excellent Old Chapel Studio in Newent today. We worked through a range of outfits and looks including 1960s retro, fairy style clothes and accessories and Isis wings - consequently I have come away with some lovely images. Apart from being a highly skilled model Carla is a most pleasant, friendly, interesting and engaging person and I would certainly hope to photograph her again in the near future. Highly recommended of course!

Today I had the upmost pleasure of shooting with Carla for the first time, at the Old Chapel Studio, in Newest, Gloucestershire.

All I can say is wow, completely flawless in every single shot taken, absolutely lovely in every possible manner. If you want quality, then this is definitely the lady to work with..I felt lucky as I had the first slot, and the 2 hours totally flew by.

Definitely someone I work work with again and again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend..

Finally after long time in waiting to Carla finally got my chance at her studio day at old chapel studios so with this lovely model for four hours we done a number of style including s Japanese theme then old fashion underwear outfit forward by art nude images and finally some chain mail dress ,Carla pulled every look out to a very high standard I'm over the moon with the images that we achieved . hopefully it won't be long before I work with Carla again

Carla was great throughout the 4 hours of body painting, being patient and chatty throughout. Then when the shoot started she was awesome throwing out poses and totally getting the vibe we discussed.

PoZers was honoured, to host a body paint photographic shoot, with the beautiful Carla as the Model and she was absolutely amazing as always. Carla arrived nice and early for the shoot, and was absolutely amazing during the body paint, helping as much as she could, and staying very still and being very patient throughout. Carla is one of those models that looks amazing no matter what genre you shoot with her, but this metallic body paint looked phenomenal in her, and she absolutely rocked this shoot. It took a lot longer to paint than it did to shoot it, she was fabulous throughout the entire day, and working with Carla is always such a pleasure. Carla’s portfolio speaks for itself, you don’t need me to tell you how beautiful and professional she is, but please, if you’ve considered working with Carla, don’t hesitate, she’s truly a phenomenal model, so much fun to be around, always making you laugh, and a great model to body paint, along with all her other fabulous modelling capabilities.
