Tried an experimental (for me!) technique, and Carla made it work really well. So comfortable to work with her, she is everything you could want in a model, and looks terrific.

Having thoroughly enjoyed my tutorial with Carla and Adrian in early August, I was very fortunate to squeeze in a second session with this phenomenal couple.

This time we worked through more examples of single lighting, Adrian making the subject so easy to understand and execute, whilst having the joy of having Carla as my model! Sheer perfection!!

The chemistry between this duo is infectious, there is such a massive respect for each other’s skills that the whole experience is beyond real description, other than a must to do.

I’ve just returned from a shoot, putting into practice, doing my homework so to speak, my confidence was greatly enhanced and the results were regularly praised by my model.

I can’t thank the team enough for their superb hospitality, for making me feel so welcome and above all for teaching me so much.

Had a wonderful themed event shoot with Carla today. As I had wanted to work with her for a long while, I was really looking forward to it. Carla was excellent to work with, and made my work as the photographer as easy as it can be. The event was well organised, we had plenty of time wo work with Carla in each set, and the props, clothes and makeup we excellent for the theme. I could not fault anything in the whole day, so thank the team for making it so good.

As a model Carla was so easy to work with, we discussed how and where, I asked for a few poses which Carla did superbly, and the rest was getting a rhythm with Carla providing great poses, and me trying to mess up my side and capturing them.

Highly recommended the event and Carla as a model. I am looking forward to our next shoot.

Had another shoot today with Carla at the “Chapel “House in Farnborough, an awesome place to shoot.

Pre-shoot communications were excellent, Carla travelled with a case full of clothing and accessories, and her make-up was extremely well applied to her flawless skin,

After a cup of tea and a chat about the proposed plan for the day, we were ready to shoot. The first few test shots proved the lighting was set up correctly, so we were able then to concentrate on obtaining great images.

The shoot was very relaxed and chilled, perfectly executed. Carla had a huge wardrobe to choose from, we created several sets and created some fantastic images. Carla is a joy to work with, very professional, knowledgeable, poses with ease, needed no direction from me, willing to try innovative ideas to get great images.

And most importantly, she is very down to earth and approachable, we had lots of laughs and the time just flew by. I would thoroughly recommend Carla to any photographer, experienced or someone just starting out, you will not be disappointed.

Looking forward to our next shoot………to continue the creative collaboration!!!

Vintage Photography

Second time I have shot with Carla, this time a BOHO group shoot in her garden and surrounding fields with some lovely evening sun. Carla really suits this genre with some delightful outfits, expressions and poses. Carla and Adrian were great hosts and set up a number of scenes for the event. A very enjoyable and relaxing evening with some very nice images. Thankyou both.

I would agree with everything Colin who runs Big Shot Studio said about Carla. She is superb in every way. I was shooting at the end of what must have been a long day for her and she was full of both energy and charm. She knows how to make modelling look effortless. She also has a wonderful look. Can't recommend her enough.

I had a one to one session with this wonderful model today at the Big Shot Studio in Leighton Buzzard. What is there to say? A fantastic all-round model. I brought one idea for a picture and we worked around that for my 2 hour booking. Carla need no direction, she is very intuitive. She flowed from one pose to the next. Flawless is one word that I would use. We went through three or four changes, and I got some really impressive images. I don't think that anyone could take a bad picture of Carla, and she is such a pleasure to work with; chatty and knowledgeable. This will not be my last shoot with Carla. My two hour shoot went by so quickly..I was hoping that the following photographer would cancel so that I could fill his booking too. Well recommended to any photographer or studio..you won't be disappointed with Carla. Thank you Carla for a lovely and highly productive shoot! It was immense fun.

Big Shot Studio

Carla hosted a studio day with us and it was a real pleasure to have her here. We have been wanting to get Carla in the studio for a long time now and as expected she did not disappoint. Carla is a stunning looking model who is at the top of her game and knows exactly what to do in front of the camera. Her experience and professionalism made hosting a studio day with her a really easy and pleasant experience.

Carla is friendly and very easy to get along with she has great communication skills and knows how to put photographers at ease. She worked well with all the photographers in attendance ensuring they managed to capture images they were happy with. She took on every photographers brief that was presented to her and worked effortlessly to help them achieve the results they were after. She retained her enthusiasm throughout the day and a really refreshing observation I made was that I don't recall seeing a mobile phone in her hand at all throughout the day..... professional actually means professional with Carla and all her attention was on the photographers in attendance, call me old school but that is how I like to conduct business in my studio. I don't want to digress and I could go on for ages about unprofessional behavior from models in studios but what I will say is - being a professional means more than getting paid and Carla ticks all the boxes in the professional sense.

Carla comes super highly recommended by me, I cannot imagine a model like Carla giving any well intentioned photographer or studio a bad experience, a stunningly beautiful model who understands the industry is more than just looking great. Lovely to meet you and Adrian Carla and look forward to your return.

Had my first ever shoot with Carla at her "Street Fashion Photography" workshop with pro photographer Adrian Crook to give us guidance. Went to the Castlefield aea of Manchester and demonstrated that if you take your time and do your homework to check out an area for photo opportunities, you will find them! Also, we covered the use of light when little rays of sunlight came through the railway bridges steelwork.. Carla was (as expected) the perfect and lovely model for the workshop, continually 'on the go' (and three different outfits) with three 'wannabe' street fashion photographer. Thank you both.

I wasn't sure what to expect but I had a great time, met some lovely people and came away with some great images. Carla was really down to earth, practical, knowledgeable and a genuine professional. Firstly, I'd like to say that Carla is probably one of the most beautiful women I've ever met! She is incredible! To quote Pixar - her face looks like it was carved by angels! And my word, can she use it! So many expressions! Carla offers such a range!

SO I booked Carla for my recent art nude event at Guys Cliffe. I had never worked with Carla but had heard so many amazing things and she has always been particularly kind and helpful via social media etc. And her image speak for themselves!

I was so glad o have Carla there on the day as she was just amazing! She worked so hard over both days! Always putting in so much effort, yet she seemed so graceful and demure. Carla doesn't walk, she glides, and she also glides through her poses! Making the most difficult poses look easy!

Her work ethic is fabulous, she was always smiling, always super chatty! And she was SO easy to work alongside! SO easy to pose with, she was welcoming, made me feel very comfortable posing with her, just a true professional! She was so wonderful t bounce off too, coming up with some amazing ideas and working with whatever you suggested also.

Not to mention she just happens to be one of the lovelies models I've had the pleasure of meeting and woking with! She has such a kind heart and is so warm, she's just a beautiful person!

Also, I just have to mention how incredible her hair is! I mean wow! its like the hair of a limited edition barbie doll! Just perfect! I could go on and on about how wonderful I think Carla is but I don't think I need to!

Incredible model, so professional, so had working, nails EVERY shot and is jus the sweetest. She is A MUST WORK WITH and I so hope I get to work with her again!

After going on my first mini group shoot with Carla I had to book another one. for this price and the amount of quality shooting time with this beautiful young lady you can not go wrong. Just some amazing images Carla is just so friendly you will be so relaxed which makes a great time.

Adrian was at hand whenever you need him showed me hss as I was always afraid to ask so not only did I come away with fabulous images but also a new skill.

Having shot with Carla a few times recently, I was determined to work with her again. This time I was also privileged to be tutored by her husband Adrian Crook throughout our shoot.

Adrian very kindly met me at their local station and as we chatted on route to their country retreat, I realised I was in for a real treat.

The combination of such expert, brilliantly delivered tuition, coupled with the very beautiful Carla as my model, was seriously as perfect as it gets.

Clearly there’s a unique chemistry between these two marvellous professionals, which made the whole experience very special.

Their house lends itself to many opportunities, especially given this amazing weather and the outside space is fabulous.

We managed to shoot through a number of sets, each time Adrian making feel so much more competent at my understanding of the issues at hand, Carla inevitably delivering the stunningly beautiful poses which she produces so effortlessly.

I can’t wait to put into further practice all that I learnt,

I certainly intend to return to keep my skills topped up by these two wonderful people.

Carla modelled again for a workshop at my studio, the third time we're worked together. As before, it was a really positive experience for me and the workshop attendees. Carla is very easy to work with, and always delivers in spades. Everyone got fabulous images and the day just ran really smoothly. It's always a huge pleasure to work with Carla, and I'll look forward to the next shoot!

I went to a Fine Art Photography Workshop today and Carla was the model. I’ve been on Purpleport for a while, so have naturally seen lots of amazing images with Carla as the star, so getting an opportunity to shoot with her was fantastic.

I had high expectations as every review is brilliant, and surprise surprise, they’re all spot on. This lady is the ultimate pro, a pleasure to be around and effortlessly moves from one beautiful pose to another (and never gets tired!!). It goes without saying, I would love to work with Carla again, and if you haven’t done so already, you should too! Thanks Carla - amazing :-)

Carla was one of three models working up to art nude last Thursday evening in beautiful gardens that are open to the public during the day.I have worked with Carla before and she makes it so easy to capture great images. My first shoot with Carla was in Artemis Fauna’s excellent Secret Garden event last Thursday with Artemis and Ivory Flame. In the part of the shoot with Carla alone, I found her very easy to get on with, very professional and able to give me no end of great images. Another great "Secret Garden" event with Carla, shooting her both solo and as part of a trio. As ever, she was fabulous to work with and beautiful to shoot. Lovely personality, stunningly beautiful and an outstanding model all describe Carla and probably don't do her full justice.
