English Photoworks

Carla modelled for a Fine Art Photography workshop at my studio recently. It was a very positive experience and she was fabulous to work with. Her interaction with the workshop attendees was great: always giving 100%, amazing posing and working dry well with direction. I have wanted to shoot with Carla for quite some time and yesterday I went to English Photo Works with David SHOUKRY for a fine art workshop. The shoot was superb, Carla is lively, very enthusistic she came with an excellent selection of clothing and I am delighted with the pictures I was able to take. Worked with Carla for the first time at English Photoworks Fine Art Portraiture Workshop yesterday, and what a wonderful day it was. Carla was warm, friendly and approachable and a joy to work with. Her ability to flow pose naturally from one look to the other made photographing her a delight. The resulting photographs were all so good that it made me look like a much better photographer than I am. The only problem is to work out which are the best shots because every one is first rate. So highly recommended.

Had my first shoot with Carla and she is absolutely brilliant. Carla pulls off a 60s retro look with ease and intuitively understands how to produce fabulous images. Carla is also very friendly and easy to get along with. If you need a professional model you will not be disappointed with Carla.

I got to shoot Carla at her themed shoot of Bridget Bardot at Scarlet Door studio.

It was VERY well organised and Carla's styling was a perfect reflection of Bordot!

She posed effortlessly and everything suited the theme down to the T.

Carla is such a nice person to work with and to talk to and I was so happy to be on such an awesome workshop :)

Wilder Mind

Had my first shoot with Carla at her home and what a wonderful experience. Carla is fun and easy going, full of ideas, poses and outfits. We had a 1960's themed shoot and I've come away with memory card full of great images thanks to Carla. Luckily I'll be seeing Carla again in May and it can't come soon enough. It goes without saying make a point of arranging a shoot with Carla - you won't be disappointed.

I was lucky enough to shoot with Carla at her home today. I was made to feel totally welcome and was happy to see the great space we had to shoot in.

Carla was every bit as professional and down to earth as her reviews say and just as great as her images would make you think. She was open to all ideas and needed next to no direction once you lay out your ideas.

I really couldn't recommend her highly enough and will be shooting with her again soon.

Just had another great shoot with Carla at her home. Carla really is fantastic, the perfect model who is very professional, friendly and easy to work with.

I was aiming for a retro theme and Carla took a lot of effort to ensure that her outfits were suitable. She paid a lot of attention to detail, with her accessories matching the period and also styled her hair appropriately.

Carla looked absolutely stunning throughout the shoot, had some great ideas and the 4 hours absolutely flew by. Definitely very highly recommended and I certainly hope to work with her again soon.

Wicked way to start 2018...was feeling a little meh! before the shoot, excited to work with Carla but my head just not in the zone. Then I met Carla...and four hours zoomed past, with Carla definitely bringing me back to life. Great shoot, got loads done (some with help from Tris too) and loved working with this one. Beyond fab as a model and just a great lady to be around...cheers Carla, you brightened up my day!

Carla is fun , beautiful , intelligent , and an amazing model.

I took the chance of styling the shoot , and Carla just stepped up and made the outfits look incredible. She just 'knows' what you are looking for, and makes it happen !

I always enjoy working with Carla so I was excited to start 2018 with her studio day at the Natural Light Spaces. What a shoot! Had a first class shoot at Carla's home yesterday. She is a very professional model and has a strong empathy for achieving what you had in mind. The sole purpose of her day was to ensure that I left completely satisfied and with a good set of images. Half the session was achieved using just natural light from the French doors, which were usefully draped with net to diffuse the light. Although I took my own studio flash it was redundant for the second half of the session as she has a good set of studio lights that were assembled up and demonstrated by Adrian Crook, who ensured I was conversant with the kit.

Thanks Carla, I wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone wishing to shoot classy nudes, lingerie or fashion. She will really "up your dame".

Another brilliant day with Carla at Image Red. We shot a musical theme in the black studio. Carla is just a class act and knows how to create the perfect pose to suit any theme and lots of fun besides. So great to work with.

What an awesome day! It's been a while since I worked with Carla and I couldn't miss her when I saw a casting for her day at Image Red. She is without doubt one of the most beautiful women I have ever worked with, a model possessing boundless skill in many genres and such a lovely person too. Our two hours flew by and I am very pleased with the images we produced. Thank you so much Carla for a brilliant shoot. Recommended like crazy.
