References for Carla Monaco

Had a first class shoot at Carla's home yesterday. She is a very professional model and has a strong empathy for achieving what you had in mind. The sole purpose of her day was to ensure that I left completely satisfied and with a good set of images. Half the session was achieved using just natural light from the French doors, which were usefully draped with net to diffuse the light. Although I took my own studio flash it was redundant for the second half of the session as she has a good set of studio lights that were assembled up and demonstrated by Adrian Crook, who ensured I was conversant with the kit.

Thanks Carla, I wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone wishing to shoot classy nudes, lingerie or fashion. She will really "up your dame".

Another brilliant day with Carla at Image Red. We shot a musical theme in the black studio. Carla is just a class act and knows how to create the perfect pose to suit any theme and lots of fun besides. So great to work with.

What an awesome day! It's been a while since I worked with Carla and I couldn't miss her when I saw a casting for her day at Image Red. She is without doubt one of the most beautiful women I have ever worked with, a model possessing boundless skill in many genres and such a lovely person too. Our two hours flew by and I am very pleased with the images we produced. Thank you so much Carla for a brilliant shoot. Recommended like crazy.

I was delighted to be a part of one of Carla's workshops, Carla is very approachable and easy to be around and makes everyone feel welcome.

The event was incredibly well run and organised down to a t!

Carla is amazing at styling, and provided an amazing rack of clothes for us to choose from.

I loved the whole day from start to finish, everyone got lot's out of it and a good diversity of sets I can gladly recommend any of Carla's workshops to both models and photographers!

I was lucky enough to shoot with Carla again at her 60’s styled studio day at MAP.

After three squillion and seven shoots and nearly as many references, there is little that can be added about Carla’s talent and professionalism, or the sheer delight she is to work with, but it’s worth adding that her styled days are superb. I’ve shot a few of them now, and they are simply wonderful; Carla always sources great outfits and amazing props, and lunch is top class!

A truly lovely person to work with, and most highly recommended by me!

Had the pleasure of attending a Sixties Themed Day organised by Carla at Map Studio

Carla styled and organised the day and Modeled with Pippa Doll as well

The day was superbly organised and ran like Clock Work, we even had a superb Buffet luncheon in the afternoon with mince pies and prosecco, Nice touch :-)

The organised sets and Carla’s input was superb and the whole day was great fun but also highly productive

There was even a superb Lambreta scooter sorted for one of the sets

Carla was a great host and an awesome model

Finished the day with a big smile, a card full of great images, after a day spent in super friendly company, cannot ask for more

This was my first shoot with this super model at the Pavilion Studio in Blackburn area. Right away she made me so relaxed and was ready for all the poses that you could ever think of. In fact with a bad back I felt so at ease and was sitting on the stool while Carla done her thing I can only state it was the most enjoyable 2 hours ever and look forward to her returning in the summer, It was even nice to speak to such interesting beautiful model and fully recommend this lady to any photographer.

Just had my second shoot with Carla at Pavilion Photographic Studios. What can I say? Every shoot with Carla gets better and better. Working with her has produced the very best studio pictures I've ever taken. As always Carla was utterly fantastic to work with: a superb professional model! Just such a lovely lady to work with. Can't recommend Carla highly enough. I'm very much looking forward to working with her in the future. Thanks again Carla!

What a pleasure to work with such a professional model !!! Always a joy to work with (like so many others I keep coming back for more) Carla had a look at my ideas, soaked them up, and proceeded to give me her interpretation - and boy - what an interpretation.

Really can't recommend Carla highly enough - but then 500+ references say it all really :-)

I had a marvellous second shoot with Carla today. Everything exactly as it should be: pre-shoot comms, turned up ready in plenty of time and with an excellent variety of outfit suitable for the shoot.

I can only use superlatives to describe Carla, her looks, modelling ability as well as a really nice person to work with.

Very highly recommended.

Two more shoots since my last reference - and wow!

Having planned a Regency period shoot, "georgian historian" and I invited Carla to be the model - and we really could not have chosen better! Not only did she play her role on the day flawlessly, she also took the trouble to research and practise appropriate hair styling beforehand, completing the perfect "Jane Austen" look for the shoot. And even better, Carla did this all again for an Edwardian period shoot, which was another triumph.

Carla really is one the most accomplished and versatile models on PP, and an absolute joy to work with. Totally recommended, and I look forward to shooting with her again (and again).

An Eye for Beauty

I have just finished my 5th shoot with Carla this year, 10 in total. Like the earlier 'Regency' themed shoot in the summer, this one relied on costumes from 'Bath Theatrical' for an 'Edwardian' shoot. Once again I was amazed at how in what seemed a very short time, Carla transformed her hair into a period style. What with that, the three outfits and a period house background we were all set to produce some great images. Some were outside and Carla bore the cold with fortitude, but I hope we took care of her. As always I was guaranteed some really lovely pictures from a model who is just a complete delight to be with and work with.This young lady is a jewel in the crown, and I look forward to more shoots with her in 2018.

Had the undoubted pleasure of meeting and photographing Carla at Pure Preston. She has been at the top of my 'to shoot' list for a while and this was my opportunity now she's deserted us northerners!

I asked Carla to bring certain items with her and shared some ideas for the shoot, both of these were fully met and exceeded, leaving me with the task of sorting through many excellent images. She worked exceptionally in front of the camera as you would expect and she's a real nice lass too. Highly recommended ;)

Whilst hosting a highly successful studio weekend at my studio for Carla, i had the opportunity to work together as well. It was a very relaxed shoot and working on simple ideas Carla posed freely as we know she can and allowed for quality images to be produced throughout. This weekend i had the pleasure of hosting Carla Monaco at my studio for the first time. Selling out 3 full days and could have sold more if she had the availability. It is the first time that I've personally met Carla although i know and have seen plenty of her through many high quality images and what others have said about her. Everything was very professional throughout simple communications and arriving on time with many varying outfits to work on the ideas the photographers had put to her.
