Lakeside Images

I am very passionate about what I do and how I do it and I spend hours planning , taking and processing my photographs. I value feedback and criticism and have a particular affinity with photographing people. The genres that I prefer are Beauty, fashion, dance and art nude. I have been awarded a licentiate of the RPS and the SWPP and am now a retired hobbyist photographer. I have been on many bespoke training courses and I have worked with some great photographers and models and I believe that improvements come through hard work and dedication. 

I am experienced in Lightroom and Photoshop and I have my own studio lighting and can shoot at home or on location. I particularly like quirky and generally like to work in colour although black and white is a great favorite of mine. I am starting to experiment with different processes and finishes and am becoming very interested in platinum/palladium printing because of the great tonal range that it gives to a black and white print and I have started to experiment with film photography.

I am a very friendly and respectful person and like to take my time creating images so shoots are generally structured but relaxed. I like to have regular breaks and discussions with the model throughout the shoot so that we can truly collaborate on producing something good.
