First shoot with Carla (in a duo with Artemis Fauna), and a very rewarding one. As would be expected with such an experienced model, Carla knows instinctively what works, which was very useful for me as a relative newbie to this kind of photography. Fortunately, Carla is also very relaxed and friendly as was patient enough to let me experiment! A very enjoyable morning, good results, and hopefully an experience to be repeated!

As ever Carla was an absolute delight to work with, being relaxed chatty & showing true professionalism giving 200% input to making the snoot a great success. Carla moved from outfit & theme with ease & needs very little if any direction. Carla's home studio is well equipped & provides a variety of shooting spaces allowing exploration a variety of concepts Good natural daylight is also available front & back of the studio. I thoroughly & indeed most highly recommend Carla & Carla's studio.

Had an excellent “Hollywood” inspired shoot with Carla. Her choice of wardrobe, makeup and posing were superb. Anyone wanting to capture amazing images and have the pleasure of working with one of the most pleasant and professional models on PP should definitely arrange a shoot with Carla.

I had my second shoot with Carla this time it was a group 'Hollywood' themed shoot at her home. And like my first shoot I came away with a ton of fab images. Working with Carla is effortless, enjoyable and fun. Carla can do many looks and styles but her Hollywood look is awesome. I most definitely want to work with Carla again.

My ninth shoot with Carla signalled a new and exciting chapter. This was the first from her brand new Swindon home which I quickly found to be a very beautiful, light, spacious and highly conducive setting.

I can never describe how much fun I always have with Carla. Even though I may turn up on set armed full of ideas, she always keeps a few magical ideas up her sleeve. It was truly wonderful to mix everything up.

Carla and I share a love for the 1960's/1970's, and she knocks me for six as she becomes more authentic with it and gets better and better with every shoot and every style she adopts.

On this occasion, I also want to thank Adrian Crook who was here for me once again as he encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone by practicing with artificial as well natural light. He also helped me to appreciate the language of the camera just that little bit more.

Thank you both for inviting me today. I honestly cannot wait to do it all again.

I've had a excellent shoot with Carla this afternoon. She so easy to get on with, puts you totally at ease working with and is interested to see the photos you are getting so to get the best results from the shoot. I would totally recommend Carla and hopefully work again with her in the future.

It was my first time working with Carla today and I'm sure it won't be the last. She totally lived up to expectations. She's as attractive in the flesh as she is on camera. She has a natural ability to come up with endless poses. She's very relaxed and modest so puts you at ease. Many good shots were acquired today, in a very productive and enjoyable shoot.

A Brigitte Bardot themed day was to be my second shoot with Carla. This time she was working solo and it became all the more apparent just how much energy Carla puts into her work. Her pre-shoot comms were timely, friendly, and informative. The day, hosted by husband, Adrian, ran with the precision clockwork I have come to expect - ensuring that every photographer got a fair amount of time with Carla and more importantly, ensuring that Carla took a break in sufficient time for a set and costume change, ensuring the day ran smoothly.

Carla was magnificent throughout and really pulls off the BB look to perfection. When not my turn to shoot, I observed how Carla interacted with the other photographer's in the group and it is very easy to see why Carla is the real deal and such a class act. Not only is she highly proficient at pulling the poses, but she is intelligently working out in her mind the photographer's preferences and adopting her pose to give the photographer on the spot what will be liked. It was not lost on me the extra mile Carla gave to accomodate my preferences. That is the sign of a true professional and why, I suspect, you will always come away happy if you book a shoot with Carla, I know I did. Thank you both for a lovely day's shooting and many rewarding images.

This was a Bardot themed shoot, but the next day I was back for a 1-2-1 shoot to expand on some of the themes!

One off, if not quite simply the best!

Another terrific themed shoot at Map Studio's with Carla, this time 'Brigitte Bardot' with the very talented James McKnight doing Carla's makeup. Carla's husband Adrian was on hand to co=ordinate everything and everyone which helped the event run smoothly.

Carla was excellent throughout the day, always helpful and with an endless ability to produce great poses and expressions for the six photographers at the event. Looking at the back of everyone's camera throughout the day I didn't see a bad image. Everyone was very happy with the results they were getting.

Although I have shot Carla on an individual basis on her studio days at Map, the events she organises with Adrian bring something extra. For those less experienced Adrian is on hand to offer help and advice and I can imagine these themed shoots they do at studio's around the Country would be a very good introduction to model photography.

Carla is highly recommended to any level of photographer, she is easy to get along with and has a very friendly personality.

wow had a fantastic shoot with Carla , fast changer of clothing with great ideas of which clothes would suit , very friendly and warm , polite , and great time keeping too ! I certainly recommend booking Carla a 10/10 from me .

I booked Carla and Nicky for a duo shoot along with a fellow photographer and once again had a great shoot both girls are the ultimate professionals and never fail to produce stunning images. We had a full 4 hours of booking but there was never a point where I didn't have a smile on my face and both models were happy to work alone or as a duo. Highly recommended both these fantastic models.

It was 5 years since I worked with Carla and that was 5 years too long! Had a wonderful shoot with Carla at Pavilion as part of her Scottish tour. Carla brought my ideas to life - she made the perfect princess and was an amazing Red Riding Hood. She brought great dresses and with the things I brought we achieved such a lot in 2 hours. Carla is patient, a good advisor, so professional, fun to work with and immensely likable. Her beauty is almost beyond words and if you put with it her grace and posing ability she is just one of the absolute best. It was a real privilege and I certainly hope it will not be 5 years until the next shoot! Thank you Carla for a memorable evening!

I had the great pleasure of shooting with Carla on a group shoot with some fellow EPS members. It was my first time working with her and it was a sheer delight. As already mentioned hundreds of times here…. a truly stunning, professional, talented model - her effortless graceful posing left me with little else to do than press the shutter and fiddle with the lights ; )

We had a very productive time and got loads of amazing shoots. Thanks for braving the basement for the candle lit poses - sorry it was so cold.

A short but lovely shoot with Carla this time. I wasn't feeling 100% and asked her to lead, having forgotten what a power house of spectacular posing she is! Shattered by the end of the day, but with so much achieved in barely an hour together I am one very happy photographer!

Carla's vast experience shows through in everything she does, and yet she remains so very down to earth. Time shooting with Carla is always a pleasure. Very highly recommended - if you haven't already done so, book her!

An Eye for Beauty

Q. What could be better than having a shoot with one of my favourite models? A. Having a shoot with TWO of my favourite models!

That’s what happened yesterday after I had asked *V* and Carla Monaco to collaborate on a pictorial story, set in the Georgian period, but working in ‘pantomime mode’ as Principal Boy and Principal Girl. I had circulated the storyboard, hired the costumes, and turned up at a very special country house hotel which I frequently use. Of course I knew after many shoots with both girls that they would deliver and we had great fun producing some lovely pictures which will end up in a ‘Blurb’ photobook. It was hard work to complete in the timescale but we manage it and I now look forward to editing the pictures but also creating the storybook.

And just for a bit of light relief at lunchtime they abandoned period costume and put on some lovely, white, lacy lingerie for some solo and duo shots.

What can I say – Carla, I look forward to our next encounter in 2019! You are one of the loveliest models I know, and a very sweet person.

It was amazing to work with Carla again after having a 1:1 with her and Adrian earlier in the year.

Carla is one of those models that you simply have to work with you and once you do you will want to work with her again and again.

I was delighted when she agreed to travel down to work with me at my home studio in Bournemouth.

Carla brings your ideas alive understanding exactly what you want to create delivering results above and beyond your expectation.

Carla is also a lovely person and so easy to get on with and the time just flew by!

I was left with literally hundreds of beautiful images that I can't wait to process. I am looking forward to arranging a location shoot with her sometime in the spring of next year as I look to step outside of the studio.
