Is this a good studio?..... HELL YES!!!

I had the pleasure of spending a weekend at this amazing place for both event (with multiple photographers) and a studio day and we couldnt have picked a better studio. Laura contacted me earlier in the year and asked if i'd be interested in doing a studio day at the studio, of course i jumped at the chance and then added a few events there too alongside Chris Conway.

This studio stands out from the crowd. Laura has only taken over 6 months ago and transformed this place into a dream studio thinking of everyone, photographers models and MUA'S, right down to the finer details, make up brushes, toiletries and the coolest of sets! You can tell this place is run by a model due to the sheer amount of clothes and accessories that are on offer to use....i was in my element! I bought the biggest of cases with me and barely used any of it i was so excited at what was there! Then there is the hospitality from both Laura and Rob who worked their asses off to make sure all attendees on the day were happy and kept hydrated. On my studio day Rob was on hand to help with anything including lighting set ups for the photographers attending. Genuinely can only give this place the highest of recommendations and i look forward to returning next year to do it all again.

Yet another great day hosted by Laura at the studio. It was a couple of courses on using gels and long exposure. If you are looking for a studio in the Cambridge/Newmarket area this is where you should go.

I booked AURA Studio for a three hour shoot a few days ago and was very impressed. It is very spacious with lots of different sets and first class equipment. The studio owner, Laura, extremely helpful and very personable.

I plan to return soon.

I was delighted to be asked to model at Aura on one of their busy Club Nights - it was my first visit so I was a little nervous walking in. I needn't have been though, as Laura, Rob and everyone were so friendly and welcoming!

I got a great spot modelling up in the Boudoir set, which was so comfy and warm - but I would have been happy anywhere there. They've got so many sets, backdrops, walls, props and furniture. It could keep a photographer busy for weeks trying everything out!

The model changing room was bright and spacious, and refreshments were regularly offered.

I definitely recommend Aura and hope to visit again very soon!

Booked a 3 hours shoot at Aura and providing my own model who on the morning of the shoot informed me she was ill. Aura stepped up big time by putting out a call for available models which was accepted at very short notice by the lovely and very talented Carmen Vasquez. While I was waiting Laura offered to model which I accepted.

So I managed to shoot 2 talented models and got some great images - what a result.

Aura is a great studio with plenty of set's,props and a large number of lighting setups available.ohh and plenty of great tea/coffee.

I can highly recommend this studio and will definitely be using Aura again.

Thank you again for you help and dedication in making a non show into a fantastic shoot.

Wow, where do I start??

Let me start with the hostess. Laura you are awesomeness personified. Extremely welcoming, professional, talented, and utterly lovely to boot. Within seconds I felt like I had known Laura for years and was made to feel extremely comfortable.

The studio space is amazing, as is the eqipment. Laura's attention to detail is sublime.

I had an amazing evening and am absolutely thrilled with the images I obtained. I have already booked my next session there.

What an amazing space to work in, and what an amazing host Laura is. As an experienced model, Laura knows what is needed in a studio. The range of equipment to use, as well as sets and props is incredible - all at a very reasonable price.

Highly recommended, I am already looking forward to my next shoot at Aura Studio.

Finally managed to do a shoot at this cool studio. Situated just outside Newmarket this place has loads of parking, loads of backdrops, an infinity curve and loads of lights, modifiers and props. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided and with Tesco’s only a few minutes away anything you have forgotten is easily picked up. Friendly knowledgable and helpful staff Male shooting here an absolute pleasure. Will be shooting here again I’m sure!

Finally managed to find the time to visit the studio, a body paint shoot with Draycom Designs decorating and styling Jezebelle.

A great studio to work in. A good number of sets to utilise and a good size infinity curve. An abundance of space which is clutter free. A good selection of lighting options and modifiers are available.

It's only drawback - it's too far away for me to use regularly :(. Aura shall, however, be top of the list if I'm looking for studio space in the area.

Had a group shoot here last Wednesday. This is a very good studio with different sets for different ideas, it is large and spacious with a good selection of lighting which is competently run by Laura who will help you get the pictures you want. There is also a good supply of tea and coffee which helps things along nicely. Laura is also a very good model in her own right. Book it,recommended.

Booked at Aura again for the November Midweek Event - Love, love, love working here. Excellent spaces and a late array of studio props and accessories. I love the sets and they are always being updated for fresh looks!

I Had fantastic studio day at Aura studio!

Fabulous studio! Settings are unique and realistic!

WARM changing area with mirror, plug sockets, plenty of space, and a well stocked kitchen with tea, coffee, water and biscuits.

I was greeted by Laura who is a lovely girl'

! She showed me around the studio and we had a chat. Laura was fantastic with communication before the shoot too

I Really enjoyed myself at aura studio! I'm hoping to work there again!

Much appreciated the extensive facilities in this large, well appointed studio located on a commercial estate in Newmarket. Laura was gorgeous and helpful and we got some great shots ably assisted by the ever helpful Rob. Would strongly recommend the studio and Laura. Looking forward to working at Aura again soon.

Well - this was my first time shooting at Aura Studio since Laura had taken over and I must say, I was blown away!!!

Aura is the TIDIEST studio I have ever worked at!!! Everything has its place, yet none of the equipment or props use up any of the shooting space!! The space itself is SO BIG!! A perfect infinity cove as well as a great range of sets!! The infinity cove is great for dance and jump work also as the ceiling I so high and the studio has a wonderful boom arm! The rest of the lighting and general equipment available is great too!

Laura is always on hand if needed! She is amazing at setting up light and is also happy to standby to catch a model if her pose goes wrong, or even put a model into a specific position! Laura goes above and beyond to make sure that the model and photographer leaves her studio happy!

It is so so clear how enthusiastic Laura is! She LOVES the studio and that really shows!! She has put so much work into the place and it has really paid off!!! She is so creative and her ideas for the future of the studio is just fantastic and I really hope to get to be part of some of them!!

Although the places is so big it warms up within minuets!!! The heating can be on or off as you like which is a great bonus! A great supply of tea / coffee/ nibbles etc ! And a fabulous kitchen very easily accessible!

Laura has an AMAZING range of clothes at the studio as well as props! This just adds to the fabulousness of the place!!

Couldn’t ask for more from a studio! I loved shooting there!! I will be back and I will be recommending the place (well already have been)!

I had my first shoot in the fantastic Aura Studio today and WOW what can I say....utterly awesome.

I was met by the lovely Laura who instantly made me feel welcome.

The studio offers fabulous facilities for both model and photographer. Laura is on hand to assist with lighting etc as well as ensuring the model has everything she needs including helping me with a costume change.

I would highly recommend Aura Studio, such a fantastic studio with a huge variety of sets. Laura is the perfect hostess, giving help when needed but not imposing.

It was absolute pleasure to have been able to model at Aura Studio, I will definitely be returning again 😊

Shared the studio with MartinQ and AcesHighPhotography with the two lovely models JuneaModell and Liza D - was a great way to spend a Sunday - well worth a visit if you haven`t been here before. There`s always something new or different every time I visit...
