Another visit to Zavod - and another very successful shoot. This was a group event I organised on behalf of a local camera group - for most of whom this was their first time in a professional studio. It's fair to say that they were all blown away by the facilities and by the warm welcome extended by the owner Xenia. They are already asking when can we do it again!

Had another great shoot at Zavod this past weekend. Xenia is so welcoming, the space is well equipped, has great natural light and plents of lights and backdrops if and when required. Honestly one of my favourite studios to shoot in. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a studio.

This was my first shoot with THE incredible Xenia and the beautiful makeup artist Alona. This shoot really gave me the confidence that I needed and lit the fire in my heart to continue my passion in modelling. I've never felt so comfortable and so happy while shooting. Xenia truly has a heart of gold and took every step she could to make my experience magical and remarkable. From the moment of the shoot communication was brilliant and mood boards! So so important to communicate and ensure we're on the same page and she really smashed it! I didn't just leave the shoot feeling beautiful and happy I went away with some kick ass braids and a new friend. I can't thank you enough for the most wonderful experience- and the experience I needed again to make me fall back in love with modelling. The studio is top tier, very clean and in a great location. I would be more than delighted to come back again. The 4 hour journey was absolutely well and truly worth it. If you haven't had the absolute pleasure of working here, I would absolutely consider it. Again, Thankyou so so much!

Another great shoot at Zavod - this was a Japanese themed session with Lili Thorpe (and her amazing collection of kimonos). The studio was the perfect setting for this shoot - starting off using natural light before moving on to some really imaginative lighting set up by Xenia . This is such a great place to work - nothing is ever too much trouble and the ambience just adds to the joy of shooting there. Very highly recommended.

Worked at Zavod Studio today and so much fun

The studios size was perfect for creating an intricate dark setting for the theme we had as well as being great for a more lighter setting with the natural light from the big beautiful window.

The amount of props and backdrops is amazing!

I Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND and cant wait to go there again!

My second shoot at the New Zavod Studio. Although I've shot with Xenia several times this was to be my first organised event at her studio. The model I would be working with was the beautiful Ashleigh Rae and a separate reference can be found on her page.

The event was well organised, all the lighting was ready and available as were the props in the studio. The studio is always immaculately clean and very well presented ready for a busy shoot despite another photographer having only just vacated the studio.

Xenia is always on hand to move equipment and props around and is always keen to lend a helping hand when required. Refreshments are on tap when required. Another great shoot at a super studio.

Last week, I had my first shoot at Zavod Studio, and I must say, it was delightful. I was greeted by the lovely, Xenia, whom I recognised from photos, she was also a model. She was stunning, looked like a high fashion model. But she was anything but intimidating, so friendly and down to earth. She made you feel very comfortable. Xenia was more then happy to help out with props (such as holding a fan and flowers) and offered supportive comments throughout.

The studio has many backdrops for a variety of looks and atmospheres. The changing room was also extremely cosy/comfortable and had everything you might need.

I would definitely recommend Zavod Studio.

Worked at Zavod Studio's new studio today and I was in awe!

The studio is a good size with a perfect balance of room for regular studio lighting and creative lighting plus, due to the beautiful big window, it has a great amount natural light too.

It's set up and organized perfectly to showcase the array of backdrops and props Xenia offers

I Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND and cant wait to go there again!

The old Zavod studio was one of my favourite places for photoshoots, and the new Zavod studio is even better! It's a spacious studio with plenty of room to work in, and there's an excellent range of lighting equipment (and great natural light too, with huge windows). The selection of backdrops is excellent, and the space as a whole is warm and comfortable. The facilities includes a spacious kitchen and changing room. The new location is easy to reach just off the A61. and there's free parking. All of this, and it's great value for money too. Moreover, you have support from the awesome Xenia. I'm sure I'll be returing here often. Highly recommended.

This was my second time shooting at Zavod, this time in the larger, new studio space. OH MY GOODNESS, it is simply beautiful. So much space, ceiling height, natural light, a gorgeous kitchen, lovely changing room and SO warm. I highly recommend booking this studio, it is a bargain, so well equipped, free parking and you have the amazing Xenia on hand to help you. What more could you want? :)

Yesterday, I had my first shoot at The new Zavod Studio in Sheffield. Xenia is great, so welcoming and kind. With Xenia also being a model herself she has the best advice and ideas. I’m so grateful to have met her and to have had the opportunity to work with her. The new studio looks amazing already, there is so much space. Theres many backdrops, props , and furniture to work with. The dressing room is a models dream. There are all the toiletries you’d need, refreshments , dressing gowns , slippers , big mirrors and great lighting. I would definitely recommend this studio to all models and photographers.

My first shoot at the New Zavod Studio and I was not disappointed.

Although the factory space has gone it remains for me a fantastic studio. The space is much larger giving you far more options in the main studio, but not too large that it looses its intimacy. The equipment is well maintained and easily accessible and has more than enough lighting options available. The main studio being much larger now can take full sized backdrops which makes shooting much easier and cuts down on editing too. A large glass panelled framed wall the width and height of the studio at one end also gives an interesting backdrop. The model changing room and outer corridor also gives an opportunity for an interesting shot.

As you would expect Xenia is on hand to assist with lighting etc and is super friendly and wonderful to work with. The car parking also assists greatly now so is a big bonus. All in all a fantastic move for Zavod and I wish Xenia every success with the move.

I was so excited to get the chance to shoot at Zavod, I've been seeing the amazing work coming out of this studio for a long time and so was thrilled when Xenia allowed me to come up for a studio day. Firstly she is an absolute joy to work with, so professional and friendly and I was so well looked after throughout the day. Also a great studio playlist that really helped keep the energy high throughout the day! The studio itself is a fab space, really versatile with a lot of options, lighting and backdrops as well as gorgeous natural light. This is a space that's definitely just going to keep getting better and better! I feel extremely grateful to have been the first studio day at the new studio and I really hope I get the chance to work there again. I cannot recommend enough!

Had my first visit to Zavod mkIII today, and it was more of the exceptional standard Xenia has cultivated. A natural light wall is back, yay!, and there's now free parking too. The new studio is so spacious, and bursting with creative opportunity.

Xenia's equipment list continues to grow every time I visit, there's always something new to play with.

Zavod will continue to be my studio of choice.

Had my first shoot at the new Zavod this week - with some trepidation as I had been very fond of the old Zavod - but I needn't have worried; the new space surpassed all my expectations. Xenia has brought her customary creative flair and eye to detail to the new studio. The main shooting space is much larger and way more flexible - the glass wall allows for fantastic natural light shots and Xenia is already expanding the lighting capabilities. This is enhanced by an excellent changing room area and a separate kitchen - and of course it is still possible to shoot in the corridors etc in what is an interesting building in it's own right. I have no hesitation in recommending ZAVOD (I suspect I may become a regular visitor!)

This was my final shoot at Zavod in its current location and as ever it was a very positive experience. Comms with the proprieter, Xenia, are always easy and productive and on the day she is always very helpful. She will listen to your ideas and will suggest what lights, modifiers etc she has which could best help you achieve them. I’m really looking forward to seeing the new place for myself in the next month or so as the photos i have seen look great. Xenia and Zavod are big assets to the Sheffield photographic community and I completely recommend.

I had an absolute blast shooting at Zavod Studio. Xenia is a truly unique, memorable and incredibly talented individual whom I genuinely respect in the industry. I was initially nervous to approach her since I was such a newbie compared to her. But she was so welcoming and enthusiastic. Her dedication to the art is very admirable. Communications prior to the shoot were flawless. The mood boards she arranged were much more elaborate than mine. I could've never come up with half the ideas she did. She's full of creativity. On the day of the shoot, Xenia didn't disappoint at all. She's accommodating and caring. She's very professional as a photographer. So many different lighting techniques, some I've never seen before. She's super encouraging, motivating me to be bold and pose freely while giving clear directions and suggestions. Overall, her passion just made this experience so much fun. I just know the images will be incredible and different from the typical studio fashion shots in my portfolio. The trip to Sheffield was so worth it. Full marks. Nothing to fault at all. I highly recommend Zavod Studio and Xenia. I can't wait to work with her again and be inspired by her.
