A wonderful host in Xenia in a central location near to the train station and multiple car parks nearby. The studio is very well laid out with lights and equipment to use if you need it or you can bring your own.

Xenia is on hand for any assistance in taking or making photos and gave me some great tips to get the best out of the lighting on hand. Along with a great model I had a fabulous time and will visit again when in the area.

Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Xenia's studio, Zavod, is my local favourite. Such a great little space, heats up nicely, great atmosphere and the opportunities around the factory are endless. Not to mention I adore Xen, so that just makes the place even better, the best host ♥

Camelot Photography

First time in the new space. It’s still not huge but it’s been well thought out and is very versatile. Whilst there is a range of lights available, it can be just as easy to take and use your own if you can and speedlights work fine due to the size.

Xenia wasn’t there this week but she had a very friendly chap standing in her stead. He was very helpful and offered his time as an assistant which was I was grateful for.

Does what it says on the tin at a reasonable rate. What else can you ask for? I will be back I’m sure and happy to recommend.

I had a wonderful time at Zavod Studio today, it was the first time I got to shoot in the new studio room and it is amazing! Big enough to pull of a range of styles and looks with the different backgrounds, good natural light and also a range of lighting and equipment so lots to play with and create amazing images with.

Would HIGHLY recommend and will 100% be coming back there soon.

I’ve now shot at Zavod studio twice over the last two weeks because I can’t seem to get enough!

It seems to have all of the equipment and versatility in the studio that you would need, with plenty of different backdrops and old windows to choose from.

Xenia is also so lovely and I felt so welcomed when I arrived there.

Can’t wait for another shoot!

I had my first two shoots in zavod studio on my first tour to Sheffield this week ! The studio is very creative and I got a lot of amazing photos in the studio ! It is also very clean and great to shoot different backgrounds ! Xenia is a great owner of the studio and a great photographer and model ! I would love to shoot again here my next tour to Sheffield! Highly recommended!

I have been meaning to visit the studio since it opened as it is in my hometown.

Although the studio is small it is complemented by communal areas in which you can shoot. These are comprised of industrial machines, presses, staircases etc. Outside the studio is also has an urban grunge to it.

Different people have different needs/ wants when it comes to studios. The host is my main one. Xenia from start to finish was welcoming, offering coffee, showing us around the studio and helping me with setting up lights and backdrops etc. She has a lot of experience as a model and was eager to put myself and my model at ease. Nothing was too much trouble at all. Made the shoot a joy.

Highly recommended.

It was an absolute pleasure to do a photoshoot at Zavod Studio. The studio is well located with lots of parking options nearby. Xenia was waiting to greet me as I arrived, and everything was extremely well-organised. The communciations prior to the shoot were excellent.

The studio space itself is great to work in - there's plenty of room, and there's scope for using other areas of the building for atmospheric/industrial style shots.

Xenia was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the shoot, and the whole session was a lot of fun. I recommend the studio highly, and I look forward to shooting there again soon.

I was lucky enough to host a studio day at Zavod in their newly moved studio space.

I had viewed Zavod when they had the original room which I was super excited to shoot in, but the new room is even BETTER!

Xenia is a wonderful host, she has everything a model would need in terms of beauty supplies, changing area, drinks facilities. Not to mention how friendly and supportive she is regarding your work!

I shot at Zavod for 8 hours with 4 different photographers, even though it was a long day it flew by thanks to being in such a friendly environment with endless options for shooting! All the photographers came away with completely different looking images which was brilliant :-)

I had the best day at Zavod and hope to return in the future! xXx

Went to the studio on Sunday for a shoot. Xenia couldn't be more helpful! She not only show me around the studio she was also keeping an eye all the time in case we need something. She is super kind and attentive.

The studio is really well located and has lots of spaces and props to use. Definitely going back soon.

Outerlimits

Shot at Zavod again but this time in the new studio area and also in the area outside and really loved the new studio set up. The area is larger I liked the plain backdrops and the additional space makes it much cosier. There was an air cooler in the room as we were going through a heatwave but the room never got too hot. Lots of plug sockets if you need them. Xenia was around while we were shooting and gave some super suggestions about using the space which were really helpful.

All in all a great place to shoot load of character and reasonably priced.

I got the pleasure to finally meet Xenia yesterday and visit the new Zavod studio! I had heard so many great things about Zavod and I couldn’t wait to shoot there.

Xenia was incredibly lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. She was also super enthusiastic as was interested in what we was shooting. She was so supportive!

The studio had lots of fun,different and colourful backdrops and also many options around the building to shoot in which made for a variety of images!

I would definitely recommend Zavod as Xenia has put a lot of hard work into setting it up and running a great studio! I can’t wait to get back and shoot again.

I had my first shoot at Zavod what a wonderful space, Xenia is a welcoming and helpful host on hand to speak about the various areas in the factory to shoot and to assist in the studio as needed.

All facilities were pre comms great and already looking to book again.

This was my 4th, maybe 5th shoot as Zavod, and again it did not disappoint.

This studio has a lot to offer, as you are not confined to a single room, and as you are in the functioning factory there are a lot of industrial areas that can also be utilised.

Shot at Zavod Studio Friday. It has great natural light, a good selection of backdrops, including a wall with a black and white mural, plus Xenia is very warm and welcoming, as well as helpful and organised to boot.

A brilliant venue to shoot at. Easily accessible near the centre of Sheffield with everything necessary for a studio shoot. Xenia was a great host, ensuring our shoot was relaxed and effective. The studio itself is cosy, and there are plenty of fantastic options within the building it's situated in, as well as within a short walking distance. Highly recommended for shoots.

I had a wonderful time at Zavod Studio today, I was booked in for a 1-2-1 Studio day and I had a lot of fun. The studio is equipped with so many things to utilize like different backgrounds, good natural light and equipment so lots to play with. Xenia is such a lovely person to be around, very proffesional, helps when needed and puts in her input to help get the perfect picture.

I had my first photoshoot ever with Xenia as a photographer at this studio. I was also provided with a skilled make-up and hair artist.

Communication before the shoot was professional, clear. Every question I had was answered and Xenia made sure I was well prepared for the shoot.

During the shoot Xenia, the owner of the studio, was friendly and welcoming. Supplied me with enough water and tea. She also helped me with modeling tips, made sure I was feeling confident and always had creative ideas in her mind every time I struggled.

The studio has backdrops and many props available which you can use for different photography styles. It was easy to get to as it's located close to the city centre.

Overall I had a great time during the shoot there. I would highly recommend it to professionals and especially newbies in photography and modeling. Xenia will always make sure you know what you're doing and share her experience and knowledge with you. Will definitely come back! I'll be forever grateful for giving me a good start for my modeling career.
