She is so fun to work with, we had loads of fun experimenting with ideas and got some great images from it.

My third shoot at Zavod on this occasion with Caitlyn J who I'd been trying to shoot for some. As soon as Caitlyn J and I managed to sync our diary's Zavod Studio immediately sprung to mind.

I think it's a perfect studio for a first shoot with a model, a small main studio space which I feel forces you to concentrate on the model rather than worrying too much about props and scenery. Having said that the studio has everything you need and more and Xenia has expanded her available lighting. The factory space is superb but sadly we just didn't have the time to venture into it on this occasion. The possibilities are almost endless in the factory, a superb space.

Xenia is a superb host and a great technician in her studio, always on hand to help and yet remains out of the main studio space throughout your shoot. She has the most professional approach in the studio.

Thanks Xenia for yet another very productive shoot in your studio.

What an amazing space for fabulous creativity!

I came up on a whim to shoot with someone local and was recommended to look to the “factory” studio, and I’m very glad to have shot here. Super space with all the things an imagist needs, plus convenient parking (which is sometimes a challenge!), and the most warm welcome!

I had my second shoot at Zavod yesterday. Small and intimate and yet out of the main studio space a sprawling maze of a factory, gritty, moody and with so many options.

Xenia, runs and maintains the studio superbly with all the lighting you'll require to fulfil your needs. She is so helpful in the studio and is a true font of knowledge on lighting and techniques. On each visit it's almost been a mini course in lighting and photography.

Thanks Xenia, you run a great studio.

We shot in the communal areas - what a blast! All sorts of industrial bits and pieces, random machinery, lifts and old brickwork. Just what was wanted - thank you!

Hehe, what a treat…mad day with two absolute stars in Xenia and Alona at this fab studio….compact and bijou, but so versatile…Xenia has this set up so well, very inspiring and we did a whole raft of creative portraits that I still need to edit…being situated right near the city centre, the studio is awesome and easy to get to and park. Love my little trips up north…

I has the absolute pleasure of finally getting to shoot with Xenia on Monday! I already knew Xenia as a model and met her through a studio hire but I was delighted when I got the chance to model for her as I’d admired her incredible photography for so long! Every aspect about shooting with Xenia was great,she has an incredible upbeat post I’ve attitude,she was quick and efficient and knew which shots she wanted and then afterwards she quickly delivered so many stunning images! What a cracking studio Zavod is. A true gem of a place and to steal a boxing metaphor … It punches above its weight! Xeniaa runs a professional setup even going to the lengths of issuing a receipt for the booking and a nice welcoming cup of tea. I would defiantly use this studio again as it has a grungy aesthetic to the place which I like, including a beat up wood panelled lift.

First time at Zavod and I love how cool a space it is …Xenia has this gorgeous space so well organised, so neat and tidy and everything so easily within reach…it’s super charming and yet really efficient and effective ….and it helps that Xenia really knows her stuff and is a dream of a host. Definitely worth the two hour drive there and back for my style of work. Already planning my next trip up. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! Thanks Xenia :)

Another shoot in zavod studio and Xenia is great of hosting event . She took many background Video which is very cool ! The lighting is great and get colorful backgrounds to shoot ! Would love to come here again . Highly recommended

Had an amazing time at Zavod with Xenia and Alona for a birthday shoot!

Everything was so fun, exciting and professional. Xenia sent me a very thorough mood board with lots of info and a good plan!

The shoot went SO quickly and I had so much fun. The images (which I received back the same day!?) are absolutely insane.

Had a lovely shoot at Zavod Studio yesterday, I found Xenia to be very helpful and friendly, she was on hand throughout the shoot to help with anything we needed and I was very happy with the service provided. There were refreshments on tap and a big jar of sweets too she looked after myself and the model very well!

It is a great space in an old factory and outside the main studio area there are some some really interesting areas to shoot in, with a great room that houses some old industrial machinery where there is also a wonderful elevator that I got some really great shots in. There are large windows plotted up around the place for natural light enthusiasts. The main shooting area had plenty of paper rolls, with backdrop stands and a neat little changing area for models privacy. All in all a lovely studio and studio owner. 100% Recommended from me. It was nice to meet you Xenia!

Anytime that someone asks me what studio we'll shoot in, Zavod is at the top of the list. I must have shot there 20 times in the last year and half. While I like shooting new and different places, there's something about Zavod that makes it special.

Most of that something is Xenia, the studio owner. I've seen her make people feel at ease, especially if they're not used to studios (including me the first time I visited). I've watched as she's expanded the range of items at the studio to the point that I could now just turn up with a camera and I'd be able to shoot...and I'm picky about lighting modifiers.

The main studio room is well stocked with a variety of backdrops, allowing a good range of shooting styles. For the more adventurous, you have access to the communal areas of the factory and it's not every studio you get that opportunity.

Working in Zavod Studio again.

I have to say I liked my return to Sheffield this year and work with Tia and Xenia (studio owner).

I feel alweys welcome there and the studio (new location in the building) is just perfect in order to create good art work.

I think that my plans are to return there egain as soon as possible :)

Keep deliver the great experiance and customer will be happy to return to your studio again and again !!
