I am a general photographer, of cityscape and street scenes around York and nearby - but with now a growing interest in portraiture.

My most recent work is aimed at creating a collection of portraits of characterful individuals: people who might be considered to be non-conformist, those who march to a different drum, those who are transgressive. I am calling this work 'This is ME!'

I like to shoot portraits of wonderful, confident strangers on the streets of nearby cities; and I like to shoot studio portraits of similarly wonderful people.

I'm friendly, approachable and (I hope) fun to work with. I'm also neurodivergent, so if you find I'm wittering on about something, feel free to tell me to shut up! ;-)

I work from a small home studio, or on location as required - or I'm happy to come to you, if that works best.

I am also something of a Photoshop/Lightroom wiz, so drop me a message if you'd like me to do any kind of special editing with your own images.
