i had amazing first shoot at yorkphotostudio with fae Kevin set up the studio for when we got there he even put the kettle and heating on for us kevin was always on hand if we needed any think at all the studio is amazing place to shoot at i loved the studio the studio had lots of props we could us Kevin is amazing guy and studio owner i be back to use the studio again thanks for the amazing day i loved every min of i recommend the studio to all the models and photographers kind regards ian

This was my second time shooting with Kev at York studio and most defiantly not the last!

Kev was very attentive and professional thought-out our shoot, always checking if I was comfortable, wanted a drink and just general care for his models. Not only that but he is such a joy to be around, such a humble, kind soul who takes such pride in his work. Along with his high quality professionalism in his art, Kev has an abundance of knowledge with lighting techniques, what works well with what and the studio itself is a beautiful studio to work in.

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful man.

100000000% highly recommend working with Kev and his studio!

Had my first shoot at York Photo Studio on Saturday! I travelled from Bristol to York as I was booked with another photographer but Kevin took the opportunity to work with me also and booked way in advance! And wow… what an amazing day it was! I worked with 3 photographers in the studio! The cleanest studio, spacious, and a massive wardrobe! Kevin and I shot towards the end of the day and well, it was an absolute pleasure! Top bloke, a good laugh and honestly, just from the back of the camera I cannot wait to see the images! Very professional and an absolute legend!

Had the best day at the studio with 3 wonderful photographers! Highly recommend York Photo Studio and Kevin!

I’m always well looked after and nothing is ever too much trouble. Had my first shoot at York studios this morning. Kevin was there to greet me, and gave me a tour of the studio while the model was getting ready. Plenty of lights and accessories on hand as well as Kevin for setting up sets. Also on the plus side is availability of outdoor use if weather permits. Can thoroughly recommend York Studio.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting York studio for the first time. I’ve heard so many things about this wonderful place and it did not disappoint. Such a great space to shoot in with different areas and a really wonderful wardrobe collection! Every detail about this place is thought out and it’s evident that the models needs are always in mind. The place has such a good vibe.

I was able to work with several photographers including Kevin who is super lovely! Kevin brought out some incredible props and outfits that I felt honoured to wear,being the first. Kevin is really friendly and so helpful to both models and photographers. I’d recommend working with him and definitely taking a visit to his studio. Can’t wait to be back!

Wow , what an amazing day spent at this amazing studio . I attended along with my model daughter,Elle Baldwinson yesterday and from the moment we arrived we felt at home, with a warm welcome &special orders of warm drinks too !

The day ran smoothly &Elle had the opportunity to model for 3 amazing photographers, Kevin included.

It’s been about two Years since I was in the studio so it was great to visit today to create some images.

Kevin the studio owner is such a knowledgeable photographer and always on hand to help photographers with little studio knowledge.

Since my last visit the studio has had a massive revamp and is not short of different backdrops props and even a collection of modelling garments and if you cannot find the studio or video light your looking for at the studio ( then they don’t make it yet )

One of the best studios I have ever worked in !

After meeting Kevin a couple of times due to shooting at York Photo Studio with other photographers, I was excited to finally be shooting with Kevin.

Kevin's instant warm and friendly day nature will make anybody feel comfortable, I was surprised as he had said I was his first model he had shot in a while, the photos looked fantastic and I was super impressed! Kevin's creativity excels in both photography and styling.

I would and have already recommended the studio and the wonderful owner to both models and photographers. I really enjoyed our shoot together and I would jump at the opportunity to shoot again. Such a warm, genuine down to earth gentleman.

I have been shooting at Kevin's York Photo Studio for over five years, it is some time since I left a reference so this one is long overdue.

Kevin (the owner) is a great guy who is always available but never gets in the way, he is friendly, well organised and certainly knows how to set up his gear and props when asked to.

The studio is clean and very well equipped with quality gear and furiture which is easy to move, it is ideal for both flash and natural light. There is a large oudoor area to the rear and more than sufficent indoor facilities.

I highly recommend Kevin and his studio to any photographer or model who is looking for a friendly professional setup.

This was my second visit at York Photo Studio and it was just as beautiful as I remembered. Kevin and I had organised a model day and we also had access to the yoga studio which made dance shots even more wonderful.

Kevin is so incredibly kind and his studios are lovely. It was such a shame we didn't shoot together but hopefully soon we will again :)

I had my first shoot at York Photo Studio, and with Kevin on Thursday. The precomms with Kevin were great, very clear and I felt well prepared for our shoot. The studio itself is very well equipped and has a lovely private model area. Kevin took care of my throughout the shoot, he showed me his mood board he wanted to work from and we shot a lot of different looks. He was very friendly and made me feel very relaxed.
