I had the pleasure of hosting an art nude workshop with Alan at South House Retreat. I have worked with Alan many times before and am always amazed at his photographic knowledge and skills. He has a great eye for a shot and pays attention to detail which I love as it ensures he always gets good results.

He was brilliant with the participants of the workshop, advising them on their set up, and viewing and discussing the results with them. Alan and I make a great team and I look forward to hosting similar events with him in the future. Very highly recommended :)

Inspire Studios Ltd

Had a great few days with Alan at the studio while he was working with a dancer and a fitness model on separate occasions in the same week. Alan is such a lovely person to be around, considerate and mindful when working with the models as well as very respectful, this includes the equipment in the studio too. He is an absolute pleasure to have at the studio and his knowledge of working with lighting and models especially in the dance genre is immense. Gladly have him back at the studio and always look forward to seeing the images he has created from working at the studio.

I enjoyed my 4th time working with Alan recently, where he attended a session I put together at the Natural Light Studio with Poppyseed Dancer who was travelling in the UK.

Alan is extremely friendly, professional and energetic, highly organised and motivated in making creative images of the highest quality. He is pleasant company, with brilliant passion for photography and works together with you to achieve the best results, happy to review, adjust and refine for the perfect shots - I love working this way :-)

Previously we have shot at The Hacienda Bohemian Brides event arranged by Mischkah, at Far Forest Studio with Ceridwen, and at the Secret Garden organised by Artemis Fauna... resulting in a huge range of beautiful photos and I'm really looking forward to seeing more from our recent shoot. I can certainly recommend Alan as a fantastic person to work with.

I am so so glad I had the opportunity to shoot with Alan! Due to living many miles away I didn't think anything was going to happen in the near future, but by magic, I was to travel to Somerset for a family wedding with a spare couple of days after and he stole me for a day of shooting.

We shot at two lovely locations, then at a dance studio in the afternoon. The whole time Alan was a gentleman, offering tea and snacks once at the studio, and making sure I was comfortable with everything we did.

We bounced so many ideas back and forth between us and created some awesome images - it's fantastic to be able to work so collaboratively with a fellow creative! He has a great eye for details in an image and, despite some pauses due to technical issues, and lots of fiddling with trying out some lighting for the first time, he remained positive and lovely to be in the company of the whole time.

Really hope we get the chance to work together again at some point in the future, he has my highest recommendation!

I worked with Alan again recently on 'The secret Garden' Trio event organised by Artemis Fauna.

Alan was fun to work with on the shoot with lots of great ideas flowing and great enthusiasm, Alan is easy to get a long with and has a great professional attitude.

Artemis Fauna

Alan booked onto one of my Secret Garden events with Carla Monaco, Ivory Flame and myself just this week.

We were blessed, like last year, with wonderful evening weather- phew!

All the pairs I put the photographers in seemed to work super well too and I think a brilliant time was had by all!

Yesterday I had an other successful and enjoyable shoot with Alan at the fantastic South House Retreat. I have shot with Alan many times before and enjoy his company immensely. We have got to the stage where we work extremely well together. We have very similar artistic taste and approach shooting from the same perspective.

Alan is very respectful, professional and has a brilliant eye for a shot. He pays attention to detail which I love, and knows how to get the best out of the models he works with. He is very encouraging and positive throughout the shoot and works very collaboratively.

As you can see from his portfolio, he produces outstanding images so if you have the opportunity to work with him then go for it!

Velvet Fox

I had a wonderful shoot with Alan and Maria Jazmine at natural light spaces! I had been looking forwards to shooting with Alan for quite some time so it was lovely to finally shoot together. The two day shoot involved one day of flour, which I hadn’t used before but Alan taught us a few tricks and how to use it so thay was very fun and the next day we focused on dance duo shapes which was also a great shoot. Alan is very good at planning and being organised, he had lots of ideas before the shoot and so pre-communication was all very clear. Alan is also easy to get on with and chat to, despite me feeling a bit under the weather on the shoot due to personal issues he was very accommodating and friendly. Overall, a wonderful shoot and I hope to work with him again, highly recommended :)

Me and my partner Ayla worked with Alan on an art nude duo shoot. Alan was very organised throughout, bringing an inspiration board which provided us with clear direction.

He was never short of things to talk about and I felt my very experienced partner Ayla was at ease in his company.

He has very quickly created an awesome image in post editing which I am proud to be the model for. I can't wait to see the other images we took that day!

I would recommend Alan, and having seen the image he has produced so far would very much like to work with him again in the future. Cheers Alan.

I worked with Alan for the first time recently. We had a great day shooting in combination with Ivory Flame and I modelling for a fashion designer with CeridwenImages (during which Alan was wonderfully patient!), after which we did some lovely work both duo and one-to-one. Alan was very laid back and happy to take ideas, friendly and pleasant, and I think he got some really lovely images. I'd very happily work with him again. Thank you!

I’ve worked with Alan many times before, and am always excited to see him and create some fantastic images as we work so well together.

Alan is a delight to work with because of his great comms, can do attitude, talents with photography, and organised and considerate approach to the shoot.

For today’s shoot we explored a very delapidated Victorian mansion, and tried out some different styles inside and outside the property. We both appreciate the same things when it comes to art nude photography, and work very collaboratively.

It was very cold and there was glass everywhere but Alan ensured that I was as comfortable as I could be. I have to say the images he took were outstanding and I can’t wait to see the edited versions.

I worked with the lovely Alan at the end of March this year, right in the middle of my chemotherapy treatment, but we had a fabulous shoot and he adapted to my ever-changing look and utilised it for full creativity at the beautiful Studland Bay House.

Alan doesn't need my reference, his portfolio speaks volume and vouches for his credibility on here, he has shot with the most accomplished art nude models and dancers.

Alan first contacted me regarding an actual shoot when I started posing with my face, he had me in mind for a very specific project.

My rawness and emotional portraiture tipped the balance, not my erotica. That spoke to me greatly as face exploration was the last stage of my own journey as a model.

Alan and I spoke many times on the forum threads too and it's plain to see Alan is deep and is a sensitive man, not a cynic nor an ego maniac. Definitely here for all the right reasons. We booked a shoot quite a few weeks in advance and stuck to it.

Alan is adorable and a real gentleman, it was my longest shoot to date actually as I shot even after lunch which I don't usually do, but as it was portraiture it is more relaxed for my digestive system so we kept exploring. Alan gave me some direction which is good for me, so I don't lead too much. I am not his usual type of models as this face thing is still a challenge for me too.

I secretly hope Alan embraces and explores a new darker style of editing to give our shoot its own vibe, its own emotions, as he told me it was my self-portraits that touched him the most on my port, (and that is certainly dark and different) and I hope it will leave a trace after time passes.

It will be my greatest pleasure to explore more in a second shoot later in the year should Alan want to get in touch again.

What a pleasure it was to meet Alan. You could tell from right away that he was such a lovely genuine guy, who had a real love for photography and they are the type of people that you want to shoot with in this industry.

Alan came to the shoot with great ideas that were right up my street to try and create and I must say the final images are spectacular. He is an experienced photographer with a creative mind and a great work flow.

I was really gutted to be ill on the day of the shoot as I was really looking forward to being on top form for it bur regardless of that it was a real enjoyable 4 hours. I look forward to seeing the edits left to come and also adding some of the pictures to my portfolio.

Thank you for your time and I hope one day maybe when we are touring Glastonbury we could do it again with me not under the weather next time!

I’ve lost count on how many times I’ve shot with Alan and yet every time we shoot we come up with something totally different.

Alan is such a brilliant guy to shoot with as he’s very creative, a superb photographer, organised, reliable, professional and fun! We always have plenty to talk about and the hours fly by.

This shoot was at a church and a vintage railway with myself and Retro Rob. We came up with a storyline and shot a series of sequences and I loved the look of what Alan was capturing on the back of the camera.

Thank you Alan for another enjoyable shoot and I can’t wait for the next one :)

This was another duo shoot with the model Melany and set to a great story line off we set two different locations and set to an ongoing theme the images from the back of the camera looked incredible this is my second shoot with Alan and I hope not my last .

After months of trying to work together me and Wavepower were finally able to shoot on my visit to the Isle of Wight and I was not disappointed at all.

Communications before hand were outstanding. Wave power has such a passion for his art, he went in to great detail to make me feel as comfortable and confident as possible. We planned for everything and it was fantastic to create a strong working bond before even meeting. He even planned my travel arrangements, which was lovely.

Wavepower collected me from the station always helping with luggage and what a lovely gental man. I felt at ease straight away.

The shoot was jam packed with lots of ideas. He brought along print outs of the inspo images he had and ones I had sent him. So the shoot was very relaxed and flowed so smoothly.

It was so thrilling to work with a photographer who works hard to get the perfect 'wow' shot. Wavepower has a fantastic eye for the tiny details so we were always tweeking each shot to near perfection. Working together with fab team work.

He has great skill as a photographer to capture the dance movement so well. He is very enthusiastic, but still lovely and relaxed to shoot with. Such a great character to work with I really enjoyed my day, this definitely wont be the only time we work together. We ran over time and still wanted to keep going. I am loving the results so far and can't wait to see more.

We are already planning our next shoot and I really can't wait. There is so much we want to do together which I know will look fantastic.

I highly recommend working with Wavepower especially if you are in the dance and gymnastics genre.

Having met Alan on his first visit to the studio a week before this one I immediately warmed to his extremely pleasant nature. He has a passion for his photography, particularly dance, and is good at getting the model to work well with him as he creates a rapport quickly and explains what he is aiming to achieve very well.

With regards to the studio, he was very respectful of the equipment and it was great to have someone who made the most of the large spaces in the studio. An absolutely fascinating guy who I would massively recommend working with if you get the opportunity and I look forward to seeing him again and his fantastic photography he creates.

he knew exactly what he wanted to achieve, and at times it was challenging to create the perfect dance shot, but I have trained as a full time dance student as a pro dancer for 5 years so it was all relevant to create the shot needed

he is a kind hearted person and a nice polite guy to shoot with, he has his set ideas and work ethic to suit his shoots ideas makes a great shoot to add ideas which flow

I know we can create better so until next time !!!
