Worked with Wavepower a week ago in Frome. Absolutely loved his pre -comms, and his choice of location - a dance studio with stunning church like windows. Felt relaxed and chatty from the get go. He picked me up from Gillingham train station (after my early 3 hour journey from Sunbury!) and took me to the dance studio, where he introduced me to the owner of the school who hired out the premises, and made my job so easy as we were left to on our own and began to shoot. I was really impressed with how he directed me - making every angle the best possible when it came to how the light worked and my dance poses. Not only is Alan very encouraging, but knew how to get me to my best. We managed to get some great shots out in the little town on Frome as well - where he was a quick thinker, and made everything possible! The images speak for themselves :) 100% recommended and I look forward to shooting again when I'm back from holiday.

I had a fantastic time shooting with Alan shooting at the South House Retreat.

It was a stunning Victorian house and Alan was full of enthusiasm throughout the half day shoot. Communication was faultless and after the shoot we enjoyed cream tea and looked through the images, which I am very pleased with.

A pleasure to work with and I hope I get the opportunity to work with Alan again :)

Had an absolutely lovely second shoot with Alan at Platt's Eyot Island. His pre- shoot communications were, as always, extremely thorough- including links to photos of the location, which helped me immensely in my preparations for the shoot. On the day, Alan kindly picked me up from the station and took me for tea, before we proceeded to the shoot. Alan also thoughtfully brought grapes and oatmeal cookies along as sustenance, which was a good thing because we ended up getting so wrapped up in ideas for the shoot, that it extended from 4 hours into a full blown all- day shoot.

Alan is always a pleasure to work with- always respectful, and highly knowledgeable and talented. We are already planning our next shoot, at Photo39/The Cottage Studio, although I would also love to work with him again at Eyot Island- I feel we only scratched the surface of what is possible there, there are vastly more ideas to explore.

Highly Recommended, and I look forward to our next shoot. :) Thank You, Alan.

We captured a range of imagery from sporty to art nude, Alan was adaptive with the changing light and settings whilst always remaining creative, and we got some amazing shots which I absolutely loved.

My second shoot with Alan - and quite possibly my most epic shoot to date! :) I was really looking forward to this one - we'd been planning this for some time! Alan wanted to do something different, a bit of a challenge too. We decided to go up to North Wales for an adventure, and although we had a few places in mind where we wanted to go, we were ready to be fairly spontaneous too.

Alan's pre-comms are faultless - he corresponds so well - so lovely, polite, and well-written. His planning and organisation is spot on, and I had a good idea of the sort of things he wanted to do.

Alan is one of the loveliest people you'll ever meet. Professional, polite, intelligent, kind, caring, generous, considerate, respectful - he thinks and cares deeply and he will go out of his way to help others. He is very approachable, friendly, and easy to talk to, and is very empathetic and understanding. Basically, an all-round top guy!! Not only that, but his photography is fantastic and he is passionate and enthusiastic! Alan gives really good direction and encouragement. Allowing the model to have her own input is very important to Alan, and he's very supportive of this. He really values my opinion and always takes this into account. Over the course of the 4 days with Alan, he looked after me very well, ensuring that I was comfortable and had enough food and drink etc. He took his campervan along for the journey, so I was able to have a hot shower (amazing!!) and we had somewhere to cook hot meals too. Alan is a very good cook indeed! I can recommend his cooking!!! Lots of nice wine too! :) Alan ensured that I had everything I needed over the four days, and I was very well provided for.

Alan also encouraged me to do my own photography. We had an excellent shoot on the beach, with an incredible sun set followed by some fire and wire wool spinning! We shot at a quarry, two derelict mansions, and an old brickworks, plus various other locations along the way. Alan was able to adapt to all the different locations I took him to, including some challenging urbex - that was something very new for him. :) It was a real pleasure to work with Alan, and I feel that we worked very well together indeed!

I cannot recommend this man enough - what a lovely shoot - thank you Alan for a very special few days and a fantastic and very memorable adventure!

Alan was a dream to work with - creative, friendly and enthusiastic and shared my love for creating awesome athletic nude and dance images.

I immediately felt at ease and really enjoyed Alans company and conversation which led to the shoot easing through nicely.

Even though it was my last day of my jam packed tour and I was tired, Alans positivity kept me energised throughout.

Alan booked me for an afternoon at the Art Asylum before my studio weekend there and I was so pleased that he did.

Pre-shoot communications were spot-on so I felt prepared for our shoot.

Alan is lovely to work with, being creative, friendly, professional and good company too!(and he wasn't phased by my sense of humour!)

Our afternoon together really did fly by as we worked through many sets.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Alan to other models and I sincerely hope that we have the opportunity to work together again in the future! :D

I had a fabulous shoot with Alan yesterday - I walked away smiling having had a really lovely time!

Alan had booked the Fareham Studio and his communication was ace - Alan really knew what he wanted and worked with me to try and achieve those goals. This carried through to the shoot as Alan was just as much of a perfectionist as me! He wants to work with his models to really achieve the best - I felt my input was valued and appreciated!

Alan was also a perfect gent, very courteous and friendly right from the start of comms and on the shoot!

The images on the back of the camera looked absolutely fantastic - I would recommend Alan A++! :D

Alan came to my home yesterday for a home/location shoot here in Wiltshire.

Alan is really lovely person to work with, he made me feel comfortable from the start. Easy person to get a long with, great conversion and professional throughout.

The shoot was very successful, we got some super images and Alan was keen to get my input throughout the shoot which was great :)

What a fantastic shoot that was! My first (and not my last) with the amazing Wavepower! :) :) :)

We had planned to meet at a location about half way between us both. I did not really know the area though, so I was really excited, not only in the fact that I was meeting someone new, but also in the fact that I was going to be exploring somewhere new too! Which is important to me - to keep my resposes to my environment fresh and alive!

I was nervous as usual, upon meeting a new person. Alan soon put me at ease. He is so easy to talk to! We had a few months of communication already behind us, so we had got to know each other somewhat prior to this shoot. He writes so wonderfully well! Meeting Alan in person was a joy - he is such a warm, friendly, smiling person! Everything I expected - and more! He is very generous, selfless, kind, caring, polite - and a true gentleman. So easy to talk to and be myself with.

Following a little online research, I guided Alan to two locations that I thought would be of interest. An ancient castle and a quarry, then a brief trip to a derelict lido too. They all turned out to be epic locations - the quarry in particular. So much potential there! We were blessed with a lovely sunny day - although still cold - and it made for some great images - although strong contrasts.

Alan was fantastic to work with! He treated me with great respect and dignity - allowing me personal space, privacy - and he always had my welfare, safety, and comfort as his priority above anything else. His approach to the shoot was relaxed - he was able to work spontaneously and go with the flow - and we worked in collaboration together - taking into account any ideas that I had too. Alan was able to give good direction, and was keen to take on board any suggestions I had too - he valued my thoughts and opinions on the shoot. Time flew by - we were completely absorbed in creating images! And I enjoyed every minute of it! :)

Alan is fairly new to landscape art nude photography, so I feel honoured to be helping him try something new out and to push his boundries and abilities a little! It is great to be part of this new experience for him. Alan and I share a similar vision on what we would like to achieve. We are certainly on the same wavelength!

It was wonderful to work with Alan, and I feel so pleased to have made yet another good friend through PurplePort. I am really looking forward to the two day shoot we have booked, coming soon... It's going to be epic!!

I had a wonderful shoot with Alan on my first day at the Studland event!

Alan arrived on time and had a moodboard ready to give me a clear idea of what he was after.

We had a really successful shoot, trying out lots of different genres and ideas. Alan was creative, easy to work with and I felt relaxed throughout.

Alan was also kind enough to share a glass of wine and grapes at the end of our shoot - which went down a treat!

Unfortunately the downside was we just didn't have long enough to shoot and the shoot flew by. I'm thrilled with the images I've seen so far and can't wait to see the rest!

I'd highly recommend Alan to all models and hope we shoot again soon :)

Alan came very well prepared with props, lights and ideas.

He was great at giving specific advice and directions and came to the shoot with very clear ideas as to what he wanted to achieve, which I think we did!

Wow, Alan was awesome! We shot recently at Paul's Studio. He knows exactly what he wants from the shot. He brought in a great mood board so I could gage what he was after. I loved the lighting set ups, and he allowed me to infuse my style into the shoot to add a more fashion edge to the shoot. He has a clear eye when it comes to lighting, creating beautiful images. You'll never be bored working with Alan, there will always be ideas bouncing around, great professionalism and passion. Already loving the images he has added to his portfolio. Alan came to my home yesterday to do some really cool athletic shots in door frames, art nude poses and some nude fashion in my lovely new corset. Alan came right on time and was eager to look around my home to find the perfect place to start. Before the shoot Alan sent over some ideas he wanted to try out and even some photo inspiration for the shoot which I thought was so refreshing :)

Alan came with lots of equipment and even a backdrop. Alan was so easy to model for and was happy for me to go with the flow with my posing and me suggesting things we could do for the shoot.

We got so many cool shots and I really do hope to model for Alan in the future. We are already talking about a shoot outside.

I recently shot with Alan at Hive studios for a half day - and had a great time! We shot a variation of styles from fashion through to art nude, with some gorgeous macros and portraits as well. Alan as a person is chilled out, easy to chat to, and is very genuine - I felt completely comfortable in his company and he was nice to chat to, as well. His pre comms were fine, he came prepared with ideas but was also free in going with the flow when something inspired us, and he gave a good combination of direction and non-direction and conveyed his ideas clearly. His photography is great - he mentioned he has not done huge amounts of shooting in non-club/group formats, but you would not be able to tell this, he seemed fully at ease experimenting with lighting and composition, and every set went great! We got some beautiful and unique images that I really loved. Thanks Alan!
