I have shot at Thurston Lodge many times. It is a photographer's dream place with ceiling to floor large windows and private gardens too. The property is beautifully decorated and maintained in an immaculate conditions. There is an abundance of natural light and many areas to shoot from, including roll top bath, 4 poster bed, Piano, two lounges and many props. There is also a secure car parking.

Mark is an amazing host and nothing is too much and will go out of his way to help you. He is desecrate and let's you get on with the shoot. I love this place so much that I have booked many dates in advance.

I've had the joy of taking part in a few photo-shoots during my stay at the amazing Thurston Lodge! It is a elegant and cosy place with endless shooting opportunities. Features include a warm welcome by the lovely Mark, gorgeous Victorian and Georgian features, a roaring fire in the living area, beautiful gardens, a roll top bath, a grand bedroom with a Tudor princess style bed which is super comfy, large grand windows all around the house with wooden shutters and genuinely a lovely atmosphere and vibe. You will not be short of furniture props here and the old style lamps offer ways to boost ambient light you may want to use when shooting; there is also tons of space. If you are lucky enough to stay over night at this wonderful manor house you will be treated to a 5 star service; that's access to a large part of the house to use at your leisure and unwind after a long day, an elegant bathroom, drinks upon request, a fire you can tend yourself if you so wish, breakfast in the morning and an opportunity to just soak in the luxury and indulge. Brilliant first shoot at Thurston Lodge. Well maintained private gardens with numerous photo opportunities and wonderful well furnished and decorated rooms many of which have great natural light making this an ideal venue. Mark was an extremely helpful and friendly host who was always available to help but totally unobtrusive. Have already booked two more shoots. Private and secure parking is an added bonus. Highly recommended
