Well I'm just about to move in to Thurston at this point as since moving to the area I think I've been back five times by now :D

I just love working here, Simon is always so welcoming with the kettle boiled ready to make teas and coffees and he's on hand a day ready to top you up, as well as with the cold weather setting in he has the fire already roaring to warm you and the studio up :)

I don't need to say how beautiful the location is or how immaculate the rooms are as it's so obvious from the portfolio. So of course still highly recommended and definitely looking forward to my next shoot hereagain soon!

Tranquility

I've just done my first shoot at Thurston Lodge and I am sure it will be the first of many. It's a beautiful property, with so many possibilities. The process of booking was straightforward, and Mark was welcoming and really looked after us on the day. I got some wonderful images and was very pleased with how everything went. Highly recommended.

I paid my first visit to Thurston Lodge, Marks pre shoot comms were brilliant, giving me every detail I could need, he met us with a smile when we arrived, a guided tour around this amazing place and Mark left us to our shoot, but was only a doors knock away if we needed anything.

Thirston is a stunning place to shoot at, lots of rooms and possibilities and amazing for some natural light shots. my time there went far too quickly and I will definitley be back there again,

It was great to visit Thurston Lodge for the first time today, what a beautiful place and what a wonderful host Mark is too. My model Tillie and I were so well received and looked after by Mark, a friendly and considerate gentleman. The studio is quite splendid in the options it offers and we worked both indoors and outside exclusively with available light. The variety the place offers is mind blowing and it adds another dimension to the pictures, one of storytelling. I do hope to return. This place is a gem and is highly recommended to other creatives.

Another great shoot at Thurston. This time with the amazing Amber Tutton and xKes. Mark is always friendly, helpful and will collect models from Thurston train station if necessary. Lots of refreshments available. My favourite location.

So im on the very long journey back home after shooting at Thurston today but i couldnt not immediately leave a reference.

Thurston Lodge is BEAUTIFUL. i felt like id walked into my favourite movie set 'theres the stairs!! the piano?!?! THE TELESCOPE'

on top of the beauty of this house, Mark is a truly wonderful host. We had a lovely chat over coffee and then he left us to shoot, popping in every so often to ask if we needed a caffeine top up - which i did .. more than once.

Theres also endless possibilities at Thurston, im pretty sure i didnt even get to explore half of what could be shot there. Alas that doesnt matter - as ill be back!:)

I had my first shoot at Thurston Lodge today, wow, what a beautiful location. I contacted Mark a few weeks ago to arrange a shoot and his communications throughout was excellent. Upon my arrival Mark was very welcoming and gave me a quick tour of all the amazing rooms which have great natural light. Once shown round Mark left us to shoot using whatever was available in the rooms, only popping in every now and then to make sure we were ok for tea, coffee and biscuits. I will definitely be back as the four hours I spent there was nowhere near enough time to do all the things I was hoping to shoot.

I can totally recommend this stunning location as it offers so many possibilities.

I had a wonderful time shooting at Thurston Lodge. :) I hadnt seen this place before until told by photographer peter. When he suggested i instantly said yes as the place looked amazing. This place is an absolutely beautiful place to shoot. Lovely natural light and wonderfully amazing decor. And my favourite part.... THE PINK BATH!

Mark was there to great us he is such a friendly host. He helped with bags and made sure we had everything we needed and let us crack on with the shoot but came just enough times to check if we wanted drinks or snacks.

I have already booked my next shoot here with a photographer who isn't on PP so hasn't seen this place before. Im super excited.

Mark & his daughter India work really hard to make the place welcoming and work as a flexible shoot location. Totally recommended :)

Fabulous time shooting at Thurston Lodge :) I've been wanting to shoot here for a long time and I was so excited to get the chance today! This place is an absolutely stunning place to shoot. Gorgeous decor and natural light. Perfect for pretty much any kind of shoot you want to do :)

Mark is a kind and friendly host. He let us get on with shooting for the most part, but was always on hand to supply drinks and snacks :)

Looking forward to shooting here again, which is already booked!

This was my second time at Thurston Lodge and this time was with the lovely Sinopa Rin.

I really love this place! The natural light is amazing and Mark is so attentive and accommodating it makes using the place an absolute joy!

I wholeheartedly recommend Thurston Lodge - top place and Mark is a top bloke

First time at Thurston lodge, but definitely won't be my last. Great host in Mark, who is on hand to greet and cater for any needs. The lodge is fantastic, with numerous room sets and an enclosed garden. The natural light is brilliant, due to the large windows.

Well worth a visit.

I had my first shoot at Thurston lodge a few weeks ago and what a stunning place to shoot, and mark was a great host. he showed me around before the model arrived and he also made me feel very welcome.

The windows gives great natural light.

The lodge is a great place to shoot and I hope to be back there soon.

Another visit to Thurston Lodge, which is becoming like a second home. This time for a shoot with Ruthie22.

The rooms are wonderful, large with huge windows and lots of lovely light. As ever Mark was an excellent host, always on hand if needed and providing tea, juice and biscuits during the shoot.

This was my first visit to Thurston Lodge. Serenesunrise and I shot here for four hours which just flew by. Mark is the perfect host, welcoming us on our arrival and makes a great cup of tea. Always on hand if needed or leaves you to enjoy your time.

Thurston has large windows which are perfect for natural light shots, lots of period stylish furnishings to create the perfect scene and many locations inside and out, its so easy to fill your time and shoot a great variety of images. Tim and I have many more ideas so we have made another booking for a return visit. Highly recommended.

I had my first visit and shoot yesterday at the stunning Thurston Lodge. I had been looking for a outdoor location for a naturist shoot in the Bury St Edmunds area when i came upon Thurston Lodge on Purple Port, it fitted the bill perfectly. Mark the owner was very friendly and helpful in arranging the date for the shoot and very welcoming to both myself and my model, Kerry, and also makes a great cup of tea. It was a lovely sunny day and the shoot went perfectly with so many great locations in the wonderful garden, and i came away with what i think were some gorgeous shots.

I can highly recommend Thurston Lodge for all indoor and outdoor shoots, and i hope to be able to work there again very soon.

Had my first shoot at Thurston Lodge yesterday, what a treat it was to shoot at this amazing venue! A seriously beautiful house and stunning gardens with so many different places to take pictures. Mark, the owner, was so welcoming and kept us supplied with tea which was a lovely bonus! I will definitely be returning. I would highly recommend that photographers and models alike take advantage of using this stunning house for shoots.

My gosh, it was such a pleasure to work at Thurston. Everything is done just right! Fantastic settings inside and out and honestly, Mark just makes it that bit more special!

I felt very looked after and super lifted by the stunning surroundings.

Will certainly be back again and recommend to all!
