A superb lighting session held by Shawn, these are regular meeting that you'd do well to get on (if you can), they sell out very quickly. Much to be learnt and gained. Recommended.

Attended another great workshop held by Shawn (The Master 😬). I love these sessions, Shawns way of teaching is very hands on and nothing is to much for Shawn to explain / demonstrate. Add to that a fantastic studio, Gorgeous model and great company in the other photographers these workshops should not be missed (as long as I can still get a place 😬)

I had the pleasure of going along to one of Shawn's studio evenings this week where the lovely Tinkerbella was modelling for us.

I went along to pick Shawn's brains about his lighting set ups and try to learn a bit about how he does thing. Shawn was a great teacher explaining why and how he does things, but also putting in to practice examples of what he was telling me.

I learnt a hell of a lot this evening and I'm really glad I got the opportunity to learn from Shawn.

I will definitely be back for more studio sessions and to get some more lessons from a superb studio photographer.

I had a good 1.5 hour shoot here on 17 Dec 2016. Shawn was very helpful throughout the shoot, and I have no hesitation in recommending him and the studio.

I did my last studio day of the year at Scarlet Door, and it was a great one to end on! Shawn helped me sell out the day and was an excellent host, looking after me and the photographers throughout. I hope to come here again next year! Highly recommended!

I had a shoot at Scarlet Door on VictoriaSummers studio day. The studio allows plenty of movement and different scenarios to shoot, has some interesting props and has backgrounds of any color you may need. Shawn was very helpful during the shoot. Thanks Shawn.

I had the pleasure of modelling at a recent workshop held at scarlet door. I always like working at this studio and often book it for my own projects. There is plenty of parking , a nice area to change and do make up and the studio owner (shawn) is friendly , accommodating and makes a good brew! Shawn is a hugely talented photographer i would (and do) recommend his workshops to anyone with an interest in photography.

I had the pleasure of spending my Friday and Sunday at this wonderful studio. Shawn, the studio owner was absolutely awesome, he made sure I was always warm and happily made lots of tea and coffee. The studio itself is wonderful, spacious and had everything you need!

I definitely hope to work here again on my next trip south.

Just returned from my first shoot at Scarlet Door Studio and I can fully recommend to any photographer, hair and makeup artist and model. Scarlet Door is well equipped for carrying out photo shoots.

Shawn is the owner of the studio, he is friendly and professional, I would highly recommend his studio. I look forward to working/collaborating on other shoots at Scarlet Door in the future.

Despite living 5 minutes drive away, I'd somehow never discovered this studio before. I'm glad to have discovered it now.

The studio itself is very well equipped. It's very different to some of the studios that have great big infinity curves that you can drive a truck into but this isn't a negative in any way as it's still a great place to shoot at, perfect for model photography. It has a large studio space to shoot, plenty of backgrounds, great modern lighting equipment and lots of props and interesting stuff around to use in a shoot.

Shawn, the owner is very friendly and helpful and is happy to help with lighting setups etc. But he's also happy to stay out the way and leave you to get on with things. Whichever suits you!

This was my first time shooting there and I'm sure it will be the first of many, especially with it being so local. I got some great images with the model I was shooting and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended. (Unless you're looking to shoot a truck! ;-) )

Had a brilliant first shoot at Scarlet Door.

When I saw that the studio was in Warfield I was a bit concerned about distance but I needn't have been as the studio is pretty central to Bracknell and easy to get too.

The model area is great, with a vanity desk, mirrors, lights and a gorgeous wall motif! The model area was stocked with all sorts of essentials should they be forgotten, and was very useful.

Shawn was brilliant, even lending me a creation of his to model in the shoot as I fell in love with it. Really supportive and great with advice for both myself and the photographers on site.

Loved every minute, and am defo going back next month!

Had a fantastic shoot at the studio, Shawn was amazing and helped guide me to getting some brilliant shots. I highly recommend this studio, its got loads of modifiers and tea and coffee at hand. will certainly be going there again soon.

I booked a couple of hours with a model during a studio day. I had some rough ideas (well one) of what I wanted to achieve. A brief chat with Shawn and he set up the studio completely spot on for what I needed.

A great studio with a pretty cool owner. Get in there and get some booking done :-)

Urban Fire

I shot at the excellent Scarlet Door studio today as this was the venue for an advanced lighting workshop hosted by Mike Croshaw.

The studio itself is superbly equipped with a huge array of lighting options and quite possibly the largest amount of modifiers I've ever seen! The studio benefits from high ceilings and the floor area is very spacious indeed - allowing the photographer to place a good amount of distance between model and background.

Shawn, the studio owner, is a pleasant, helpful guy, springing into action to assist with every lighting change when needed.

Highly recommended studio which I hope to be using again in the future!
