I’ve been itching to get in here since forever and for what seemed like an age I finally got there! It was more than worth it, Shawn was lovely to work with and he both collected me and returned me to my hotel and the station. He was great to be around and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my visit... now when can I come back?! 😈 highly recommended by me!

Another great workshop shoot at Scarlet Door. Shawn always gets excellent models for these sessions and Marie was up there with the best of them. A fun, relaxed but informative style of workshop that works well.

Was an awesome day, Shawn was super helpful as always, the studio is full of all the coloured backdrops ever and loads of lights, clothes and modifiers.

You get thoroughly looked after.

The workshop was fantastic, loads of awesome varied light set ups, fantastic value.

I don't leave a reference for Scarlet Door and Shawn very often, I suppose it gets taken for granted. I shoot there last minute today and I can't expressed just obliging and helpful he is, add to that generous his with lighting advice and set up. I have some wonderful images of Charliee in an amazing art nude set up thanks to Shawn. Cheers Shawn

Scarlet Door Studio is my go to, well equipped lighting studio. Shawn the owner, regularly engages a variety of models for a variety of shoots, at reasonable prices, for one2one and groups. Group lighting courses are also organised for many skill levels. It has a friendly and appreciable atmosphere.

Shawn organised a “UV Lighting Workshop” using UV/Black lights as opposed to the normal flash units. Charliee modelled and the talented Alia-Michelle created some stunning looks using a range of makeup which fluoresced under the UV lights and resulted in some strange yet beautiful images of Charliee.

The shoot was both different and fun and we all came away with some great images – but then that’s the “norm” for Shawn’s Workshops.

I had my first visit to Scarlet Door recently for a pin-up/vintage shoot with a new photographer. The space is well thought-out, clean and equipped with everything you'd need. Models have a good changing area with millions of plugs (yippee!) and lights. Shawn was very welcoming and gave some fantastic tuition to the photographer, resulting in some beautiful shots. I hope to return to Scarlet Door in the future and would recommend it to others.

Shawn was friendly and helpful throughout the shoot which made me feel comfortable whilst shooting.

A lovely and versatile studio to shoot in, with very good music in the background may I add! Can't wait to be able to shoot there again soon.

As ever Shawn was the perfect host, offering assistance when needed. The studio is well equipped and offers an excellent creative space. I didn't get chance to shoot the fabulous natural light patterns, maybe next time!

Yet another fabulous Kris Karl event hosted by Sean, who as always is the perfect host.

The studio is superbly equipped with a wide variety of lighting gear which enables lots of differing sets.

Nice small but well equipped studio (I counted more than 4 strobes and all sort of soft boxes, plus an entire arsenal of coloured backdrops).

The owner is incredibly kind and reliable.

If you plan to get there by train allow a good 20 minutes walk from the station.

Well this certainly wasn't my first visit to Scarlet Door nor will it be my last. Shawn is a magician with light and yesterday evening the workshop with Gabriella Elena Knight was no different with the use of coloured backgrounds, various hard & soft light set-ups and lashing of tea if you make it yourself!

Any aspiring portrait photographer should seek out Scarlet Door in deepest Bracknell, Berkshire.

It was my second time at Scarlet Door studio and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

The location is perfect, also well equipped and you will never get bored With Shawn amazing lightings sets.

Shawn is lovely ,he looked after me during Workshop. He made me feel very comfortable.

The Workshop seemed to run like clockwork, organised and prepared for the photographers attending.

I would Love to work at Scarlet Door studio again!

I had a fantastic day at the studio. Shawn is one of the nicest and most helpful people you will ever get to meet. The studio has lots of different backgrounds and props suitable for a variety of shoots. The studio and the changing room were super warm! All the photographers that attended the shoots were friendly and very easy to work with. All in all I had an amazing day and look forward to returning to the studio in the near future. I've just attended one of Shawn's group shoot events. Shawn makes you feel welcome at Scarlet Door as soon as you arrive. This is the first workshop I've attended with Shawn and I will not hesitate in booking another one soon.

The studio is perfect for shooting, lots of options to choose from with plenty of room for getting the most out of your shoot with minimal effort.

I have shot at Scarlet Door a number of times over the years but it had been a good couple of years since my previous workshop there.

When Shawn contacted me about modelling on one of his workshops I was thrilled as not only is he a lovely guy & an awesome photographer, the way he runs his workshops are of the best standard around (in my opinion anyway).

Shawn booked myself and my partner Leonlift as a duo for the event & we worked together to sell slots.

The workshop was a huge success and the images produced were honestly amazing. I believe a lot is down to Shawn's skills with lighting (again among the best I know) & then down to the group of photographers who attended the workshop. There were some great talent there too!

Shawn's a great host, warm & friendly. Lots of tea breaks & fun throughout the 4 hours and I can't recommend the studio & his events high enough! :D

This is the second time I have shot at Scarlet Door, the first was a workshop run by Shawn, which was excellent.

I booked Charliee at Scarlet Door to do an art nude shoot. The studio is very well equipped and spacious. Shawn is an excellent host but importantly a master of studio lighting and extremely generous in imparting his knowledge, which enabled me to get the shots that I wanted.

I had a studio day at scarlet door! It was a great day full of different genres of photographers! Shawn helped some photographers through out the day who needed assisting, he’s very welcoming and also an awesome photographer! Scarlet door is a great studio I recommend 100%

It's a good shooting space with all the equipment you need. Shawn is really knowledgeable, open and friendly and freely shares his wisdom and experience. His lighting workshop was informative and ran very smoothly. I took a lot of learning away from the evening and would not hesitate to use Scarlet Door again.
